Reading the Golden 1 Center seating chart

The Golden 1 Center seating chart has two seating rings plus the floor. The 100 level, entered from the Plaza Level concourse, holds sections 101–126; the 200 level, entered from the Bridge Level concourse, holds sections 201–222. Courtside sections 1–9 line the floor for basketball. Center court is section 107 on one sideline and 120 on the other; upstairs, the center sections are 205 and 218. For a Kings game, the strongest seats are 106–108 and 119–121; the best value is the low rows of 204–206 and 217–219.

One detail trips up first-time buyers: the court is not square to the building. On the arena's own north-up concourse maps, the floor runs on a diagonal, with the baskets pointing northwest and southeast. That is why the sideline sections carry mid-range numbers instead of sitting at 101.

  • Closest: courtside sections 1–9 and the club rows of 106–108 and 119–121.
  • Best balance: rows A and up in 106–108 and 119–121.
  • Best value: rows A–C of 204–206 and 217–219.
  • Think twice: the low rows directly behind either basket.

Section ranges and the direction numbers run

The layout below comes from the arena's 2025 Plaza, Bridge, Suite and Event Level maps; RateYourSeats' section directory and TickPick's Kings seating guide list the same section numbers and the same center-court sections.

100 level: sections 101–126

On the north-up map, section 101 sits at the northwest end, beside the Grand Entrance, and the numbers climb clockwise. Sections 103–104 are on the north side, 106–108 run along the northeast sideline with 107 at center court, 110 is at the east corner, and 113–114 sit behind the southeast basket. The ring continues through 116–117 on the south side, 119–121 along the southwest sideline with 120 at center, and 123–126 on the west and northwest, closing back at 101. Sections 101 and 126 sit behind the northwest basket, where RateYourSeats says concert stages are most often placed.

200 level: sections 201–222

The Bridge Level map labels its portals by group: 201–203 on the north, 204–206 on the northeast sideline, 210–212 at the southeast end, 217–219 on the southwest sideline and 220–222 on the west. Numbers run clockwise in the same direction as the lower ring, with 205 and 218 at center court. RateYourSeats lists section 212 as a head-on view toward an end stage and section 222 as beside or behind the stage, which matches the northwest stage end.

Suites and clubs

The Suite Level map shows a ring of suites numbered 1A, 1B and 2 through 34A and 34B, plus a smaller block numbered 43–48 in the southeast corner. On the Event Level, two court-level clubs sit behind the sidelines: RUSH behind the northeast (106–108) side and Assembly behind the southwest (119–121) side, with the Red Hawk Lounge at the southeast end. Club names change with sponsors, so check the current map.

Rows, seat numbers and where seat 1 sits

Seat numbering. Two guides agree. TickPick says seat 1 in any section is the seat closest to the neighboring lower-numbered section, so seat 1 in 107 sits next to the last seat of 106. RateYourSeats says that, facing the floor, seat 1 is on your right. Both descriptions fit the clockwise numbering on the arena's map. Low seat numbers are on the right-hand aisle as you face the court, and high numbers on the left.

Lower-level rows. The 100 level uses three tiers of letters, front to back: triple letters (AAA, BBB, CCC), then double letters (AA through FF or GG), then single letters (A and up). RateYourSeats lists section 107 as rows AAA–CCC, AA–GG and A–T, and baseline section 113 as AAA–CCC, AA–FF and A–X, and says most lower sections run 25–30 rows in all. A row A ticket is therefore roughly ten rows off the floor, not the front row. The entrance comes in at the top of these sections (row T in 107, row X in 113), so lower-level seats are reached by walking down.

Upper-level rows. RateYourSeats lists most 200-level sections at about 20 rows, from row A at the front to row R, with the portal near row C, so the first rows are a short step down from the concourse. Section 212 is an exception, with rows A–B and then H–R behind its entry.

Row width. TickPick says most rows hold about 20 seats, and corner rows near the court can hold as few as five. These row counts come from guides rather than the arena, so treat them as approximate.

Best seats for Kings games

TickPick places the Kings bench in front of section 108 and the visitors' bench in front of 106, both on the northeast sideline. Seats across the floor in 119–121 face both benches and the whole court.

  • Club rows: RateYourSeats lists the first ten rows of 106–108 and 119–121 (AAA–CCC and AA–GG) as club seats, with lounge access and food included for Kings games.
  • Single-letter rows at center: rows A–H of 106–108 and 119–121 keep the sideline angle without the club premium.
  • Corners: RateYourSeats calls the lower corners (around 104, 110, 117 and 123) the best value downstairs.
  • Upstairs value: TickPick names 204–207 and 216–219 as budget sections with sideline views. Aim for rows A–C, below or at the portal.
  • Least favored: 101, 126, 113 and 114 downstairs, and the end sections upstairs such as 212 and 222, which sit behind a basket.

TickPick notes that the 200 level is steeper than most indoor arenas and has no cup holders, since the top of the seat in front sits at your feet. The steep rake is the reason the upper level feels close; it is also the reason to think twice if heights bother you.

Concert and event layouts

For most end-stage concerts, RateYourSeats says the stage goes in front of sections 101 and 126, at the northwest end. The floor then fills with chairs or a standing area facing the stage. In the most common reserved layout, floor sections 1–3 are at the front and 4–6 at the rear; a GA floor ticket may print a row and seat, but entry is first come, first served.

  • Side views close in: RateYourSeats names 106 and 121 as the most desirable lower-level seats with the stage at 101/126, angled toward the stage without being beside it.
  • Head-on views: 113 and 114 downstairs and 212 upstairs face an end stage straight on, at the far end of the room.
  • Seats beside or behind the stage: 101–102 and 125–126 downstairs and end sections such as 222 upstairs are usually closed or sold as side or limited views.
  • Center stage or in the round: 107, 120, 205 and 218 work for both layouts, per RateYourSeats.

A flat floor puts the back half of floor seating at eye level with standing fans. For a full view of the production, a raised seat in 113 or 114 often sees more than floor section 5 or 6. For boxing and wrestling, RateYourSeats lists a separate ringside floor configuration, so check that event's map.

Views from each level

  • Courtside and floor: on the court itself. Closest, but flat, with a long view to the far basket.
  • 100 level, club rows (AAA–GG): low and near the court. Great for speed of play; the far end looks compressed in the first few rows.
  • 100 level, rows A and up: the classic broadcast angle, raised enough to see over the courtside crowd and the benches.
  • 100 level, top rows near the portal: a full view of the court and the center-hung videoboard, with concourse traffic behind you.
  • 200 level, rows A–C: the best upstairs view, close to the portal and with no walkway in front.
  • 200 level, top rows (around N–R): high and steep, but the whole bowl is visible; the upper corners are the farthest seats in the building, per TickPick.

Accessible seating locations

The arena says accessible seating is available in all price categories, in two types: wheelchair-accessible spaces and limited-mobility seats, with companion seats in most cases. TickPick says the accessible rows are at the top of most sections around the bowl, and RateYourSeats places the wheelchair row in section 107 behind row S, at the level of the entrance. That puts most accessible positions at portal level with no stairs.

  • Wheelchair storage and assistive listening devices: at Guest Services across from section 109 (Plaza Level) and section 207 (Bridge Level).
  • Groups: the arena asks groups of 20 or more that include guests with disabilities to call the box office so the party can sit next to the accessible location.
  • Escorts: wheelchair escorts to and from seats are available on request.

Details are on the arena's accessibility page, and the arena's level maps show every section and portal.

RateYourSeats lists most 100-level sections at 25–30 rows, lettered AAA–CCC, then AA–GG, then A and up, and most 200-level sections at about 20 rows, A–R. Row A on the lower level is about ten rows back.

Where are the club seats at Golden 1 Center?

Per RateYourSeats, the club seats are the first ten rows of sideline sections 106–108 and 119–121. The arena's map shows the RUSH and Assembly clubs behind those two sidelines on the Event Level.
