The American Family Field seat answer

On the American Family Field seating chart, the strongest all-around seats are the Loge Infield Platinum sections 216–221 directly behind home plate, one deck above the field, where the whole diamond and the roof-covered outfield fit in one view. For a close look at the Brewers, pick the Field Level sections behind the home dugout on the first-base side, roughly 111–115 on the team's map. For the lowest-cost centered view, the Terrace Box rows (the first rows of the 400 level) behind the plate, around section 422, look straight out to center field.

The ballpark opened in 2001 as Miller Park and took its current name for the 2021 season. An old Miller Park seating chart still matches the bowl closely, since the sections kept their numbers; the main changes are newer group spaces and the right-field corner of the upper deck, covered below.

  • Best view: Loge 216–221, behind the plate.
  • Closest to the Brewers: Field 111–115, first-base side.
  • Value with a centered view: Terrace Box near 422.
  • Most sun with the roof open: the left-field side.
  • Alcohol-free family sections: 106, 309 and 417.

How the sections are numbered on each level

The Brewers' official seating map shows the same pattern on all four levels: the lowest numbers start in right field, run past home plate and finish in left field. Seen from above with home plate at the bottom of the map, the numbers climb clockwise. The middle of each level sits behind home plate.

Field Level (100s): sections 101–131

  • 101–104: Field Bleachers in right-center, above the visitors' bullpen.
  • 106–109: Field Outfield sections down the right-field line.
  • 110–125: the infield. The home dugout sits in front of about 111–115 on the first-base side and the visitors' dugout in front of about 120–123 on the third-base side. Sections 117 and 118 split home plate.
  • 126–128 and 129–131: Field Outfield and Field Outfield Corner seats in left field.

Loge Level (200s): sections 201–236

  • 201–205: Loge Bleachers in right-center field.
  • 206–209: Loge Outfield Platinum, right-field line.
  • 210–215 and 222–227: Loge Infield, first- and third-base sides.
  • 216–221: Loge Infield Platinum behind home plate, with 218 and 219 at dead center.
  • 228–232: Loge Outfield seats down the left-field line.
  • 233–236: Loge Bleachers in left field, near the Brewers' bullpen.

PNC Club Level (300s): sections 306–345

Club Outfield runs 306–313 on the right-field side and 344–345 on the left; Club Infield covers 314–343, with 329 and 330 behind the plate. Sections 302–305 above right field are the Johnsonville Party Deck, an all-inclusive group area. Club suites, numbered 24 through 67, sit in a ring behind the club seats.

Terrace Level (400s): sections 407–442

The upper deck runs from 407 in the right-field corner to 442 in left field, centered on 422. The darker band on the team's map is the Terrace Box, the first rows of each section; the rest is Terrace Infield, with Terrace Outfield seats in the left-field corner (433–442). RateYourSeats still lists sections 404–406, which do not appear on the current team map, so treat any listing for those numbers with caution.

Rows and seat numbers

Rows here are numbered, not lettered, and row 1 is closest to the field. Row counts come from RateYourSeats' section pages; the team's map does not print them, so use these as a guide.

  • Field Level infield: about 21 rows. The first eight rows of 110–125 are the Field Diamond Box; the rows behind are the Field Infield Box. Behind the visitors' dugout, section 123 starts at row 4.
  • Loge Level: the sections directly behind the plate are short, about 10 rows, because the press box sits behind them. Sections nearer the dugouts run to about 21 rows. The first five rows of 216–221 carry the Loge Diamond Box label.
  • PNC Club Level: shallow, roughly seven or eight rows per section.
  • Terrace Level: about 24 rows. The Terrace Box is the first seven rows, and many sections have a walkway and entrance near rows 5 to 8, with wheelchair positions next to that walkway.

On seat numbers, RateYourSeats states that the lower seat numbers sit on your left as you face the field. Neither the team nor a second guide confirms that rule, so if an aisle seat matters, check the exact seat with the seller before you buy.

The view from each level

Field Level

The low rows behind the dugouts put you at eye level with the players, and the team's netting covers the front of the infield sections, so the first rows look through mesh. Guides disagree on how far it runs: RateYourSeats puts netting or screening in front of 112–123, while The Ballpark Guide says 108–128. Middle rows clear the dugout roofs and still feel close. The outfield field sections angle away from home plate, so you turn your head for every pitch.

Loge Level

This is the deck most regulars point to. The height lets you read the defense and follow a fly ball, and the infield sections are not far back. The bleacher ends in right and left field are bench seats with backs and numbered spaces, social and loud, with an angled look at the scoreboard.

PNC Club Level

Only a few rows deep, so every seat is near the rail. The view is a touch higher than the Loge and the infield sections face the plate well.

Terrace Level

Steep and high, but the infield sections still show the full diamond and the center-field video board. The Ballpark Guide notes that the uppermost seats behind home plate are partly blocked by the roof's pivot structure. A fan review on RateYourSeats adds that, since team office construction in the right-field corner in 2025, sections 407 and much of 408 lose part of deep right field.

The roof, sun and shade

With the roof closed, sun does not matter and the bowl stays well above the outdoor temperature on cool nights. When the roof opens on a warm afternoon, RateYourSeats reports a consistent pattern:

  • The first-base and right-field side stays shadier. In the Field outfield, 106–109 in right field take less direct sun than 126–131 in left, and Terrace Box seats on the first-base side shade sooner.
  • Left field is the sunniest area. The Terrace corner, about 438–442, and the left-field field and Loge seats get the most sun.
  • The deep infield field rows are often covered. The overhang and the roof structure shade many middle and upper rows behind the dugouts even with the roof open.

This pattern comes from one seating guide and the roof decision is made on game day, so treat it as a tendency, not a promise.

Best and worst sections at American Family Field

Worth paying for

  • Loge 216–221: the classic broadcast view, a short climb from the concourse.
  • Field 112–115: behind the Brewers on the first-base side; middle rows see over the dugout.
  • Club 324–335: between the dugouts, a few rows deep, with in-seat wait service in the Club Infield sections per RateYourSeats.
  • Terrace Box 418–426: the best centered view for the money, especially the first rows.

Think twice

  • Front rows behind the netting: close, but the mesh sits nearest your eyes.
  • Top rows of the Terrace behind the plate: the farthest seats, with the roof pivot in the frame.
  • The Terrace right-field corner, 407–408: a blocked slice of right field since 2025, per a fan review.
  • Left-field bleachers on a hot open-roof afternoon: fun, but full sun.

For a concert, the stage layout varies by show, so use that event's map rather than the baseball chart.

Accessible seats, family sections and group spaces

The Brewers say accessible seating is offered on every seating level, with up to three companion seats alongside each accessible seat. Wheelchair symbols on the team map appear across all four levels, including the infield Field sections, most Loge sections, the Club Level and a spread of Terrace sections. Per the team's access guide:

  • Elevators: staffed public elevators in the left-field corner and at the Clock Tower reach all levels.
  • Wheelchair lifts: serve several group areas and section 221 on the Loge Level.
  • Sensory room: Field Level near the right-field corner; a separate Quiet Room sits on the Terrace behind section 426.
  • Family restrooms: behind section 116, Loge 206 and 230, and Terrace 419 and 426.
  • Accessible ticket window: will call window 6 at the home plate entrance.

The map marks three Family Sections where alcohol is prohibited: 106 on the Field Level, 309 on the Club Level and 417 on the Terrace. Group spaces without section numbers, such as the Johnsonville Party Deck, the Miller High Life Loft, Miller Lite Landing and the Northwestern Mutual Legends Club, are sold as packages. These details reflect the team's 2026 pages; check them before you go.

Frequently asked questions

Is the American Family Field seating chart the same as the old Miller Park chart?

Mostly. The ballpark was renamed from Miller Park for the 2021 season and the bowl kept its section numbers, but group spaces were added and the current team map starts the upper deck at section 407.

Which sections are behind home plate at American Family Field?

Field Level 117 and 118, Loge 216–221 (218 and 219 at center), PNC Club 329 and 330, and Terrace 422, per the Brewers' seating map.

How are rows and seats numbered at American Family Field?

Rows are numbered from 1 at the front. RateYourSeats says lower seat numbers are on your left as you face the field, but the team does not publish that rule, so confirm an aisle seat before you buy.

What is the view like from the Terrace Level?

High and steep, but the infield sections around 422 show the whole field. The top rows behind the plate see the roof's pivot, and sections 407–408 lose part of right field after 2025 construction, per fan reports.

Which side of American Family Field is in the shade?

With the roof open, RateYourSeats reports the first-base and right-field side stays shadier and left field gets the most sun. With the roof closed, sun is not a factor.

Where are the family and accessible sections?

The team map marks alcohol-free family sections 106, 309 and 417, and accessible seating appears on every level, with elevators in the left-field corner and at the Clock Tower.
