Barclays Center Seating Chart

Game pick: 7–9 or 23–25 · value: front rows of 206–210, 222–226

The lower bowl uses plain numbers 1–31, the 100s are a short band above it, and the 200s come in blocks. Here is how to pick a seat in each.

Your Barclays seat decision in 30 seconds

For basketball, buy the lower-bowl sideline sections 7–9 or 23–25. For the most court for your money, buy the front rows of 206–210 or 222–226, the center upper blocks. The arena is compact, so those upper rows stay closer to the floor than the number suggests.

Before you compare listings, keep two quirks in mind. The main lower bowl uses one- and two-digit section numbers rather than 100s, and the map skips several numbers on every level, so two numbers in sequence are not always next to each other.

Three rings, and the numbers that are missing

Three numbered rings appear on the arena's Nets and concert maps:

  • Lower bowl, 1–31. Behind one basket, section 31 meets section 1; sections 15–17 fill the far baseline. Eight numbers never appear: 2, 5, 11, 14, 18, 21, 27 and 30.
  • Middle band, 102–129. A thin ring just above the lower bowl, interrupted by suites and premium spaces.
  • Upper level, 202–230. Missing from the current map: 201, 208, 216, 224 and 231. In addition, the end above 1 and 31 is a premium space instead of seats.

The sidelines stack neatly. Above sections 7, 8 and 9 you find 107–109, and above those the 206–210 block. On the opposite side, 23–25 sit below 123–125, which sit below 222–226. Once you know one sideline, you know the other.

Lower bowl: courtside to row 20

Both benches share one sideline on the Nets map: Brooklyn sits at section 7, the opponent at section 9. Courtside seats there are labeled FLR7 and FLR9, with VIP7 and VIP8 rows behind them. Across the court, the FLR23–25 and VIP23–25 rows copy that arrangement.

Rows are numbered, not lettered. RateYourSeats and TicketIQ both show lower sections topping out around row 19 or 20, and both list a 19W wheelchair row high in the center sections.

  • Center, 7–9 and 23–25: the six premium sideline sections, where the arena brings drinks to your seat in rows 1 through 10.
  • Corners (28–29 and 3–4 at one end, 12–13 and 19–20 at the other): both baskets stay in view, with lower demand than center court.
  • Baselines: 15–17 at one end, the 31/1 pair at the other. The Baseline Club sits behind section 16.

Short rows and named spaces above the bowl

Directly above the lower bowl and beneath the suites runs the 100-numbered band. Its sections are just a handful of rows deep, so the whole band sits only a little higher than the lower bowl. The center ones, 107–109 and 123–125, look down on the full court from a slightly steeper angle, which some fans prefer for reading plays.

The map also labels a set of premium areas. Sponsor names change, so use them as landmarks:

  • Baseline Club: behind section 16, flanked by 115 and 117.
  • Gallagher Terrace: behind sections 1 and 31, at the opposite end.
  • The Toki Row: on the 7–9 sideline, wedged between the suite level and upper sections 205–211.
  • JetBlue at the Key: its counterpart across the court, under upper sections 221–227.
  • Modelo Bridge: the upper-level end above 1 and 31, in place of 200-level seats.

When you compare premium listings, go by position on the map and what is included, not the brand on the door.

Blocks of the 200 level

The upper level is a set of blocks rather than one ring. Six sideline sections face each side of the court: 205–207 and 209–211 on the 7–9 side, and 221–223 and 225–227 on the 23–25 side. Four corner blocks angle toward the court (228–230, 202–204, 212–214 and 218–220), while 215 and 217 look down from above the 15–17 baseline.

Two seating guides agree the center 200s run to row 22. Row 1 through about row 8 of the center blocks gives a clean full-court view, typically at a fraction of lower-bowl demand. Up at the back of a corner block, you are as far from the court as the building allows.

A tip for groups: gaps separate the sideline blocks from the corners on the map, so two listed sections are not always side by side.

Picking seats for Nets and Liberty games

  • Top choice: 7–9 or 23–25, roughly rows 5 to 15. You feel close, and you clear the heads along the bench side.
  • Bench watchers: section 7 and its neighbors, right behind the Nets bench, where you can follow timeouts and substitutions.
  • Smart middle: any of the eight lower corner sections, which keep both baskets in view.
  • Value: the first eight rows or so of the center 200s.
  • Skip for a tight game: low baseline rows in 1, 31 and 15–17. From there, the stanchion and the players along the near baseline block a lot of the opposite end.

Liberty games use this building too, with identical section numbers and a seat map of their own. For both teams, demand climbs for marquee opponents and the playoffs. Every Reserved Seat order comes with a 100% guarantee.

When the stage goes in at the Gallagher Terrace end

For concerts, the arena's map sets the stage at the 1/31 end, backed by Gallagher Terrace, and the floor turns into sections F3 to F8, with F3 closest to the stage and the mixing desk toward the back. Other shows make the floor general admission (standing room only). In that case the arena issues wristbands and routes floor guests through the Atlantic Entrance.

  • Best bet: the lower sidelines on the stage half: 7, 6 and 4 on one side, 28, 26 and 25 on the other. Close, at a gentle angle to the stage.
  • Head-on, from a distance: the Baseline Club and section 16 look straight down the floor at the stage from the opposite end.
  • Too sharp for some: 3 and 29 flank the stage, so you watch performers in profile and may lose the screens.
  • Upstairs: pick the stage-end blocks, 205–207 and 225–227, over those at the far end.

Tour designs vary. With a center stage or a boxing or wrestling ring, the action sits in the middle, so every sideline becomes a front row and the 200s gain value.

Accessibility, elevators and the sensory room

Per the arena, wheelchair and companion seating with suitable sightlines is offered on all levels, and every luxury suite is wheelchair accessible. The seating guides cited above also show the 19W wheelchair row high in the center lower sections.

  • How to buy: the arena takes accessible-seat orders online, by phone or by emailing its ticket office. If you already have tickets, Guest Services outside section 12 or 212 can help.
  • Elevators: they connect the event level, the main concourse, suite levels A and B and the upper concourse.
  • Hearing support: Guest Services lends assistive listening headsets at no charge; induction loops are installed at section 12 and the box office.
  • Sensory room: the main concourse holds the Greyson Mathews Sensory Room, close to section 17.

The venue says every entrance is ADA accessible. Before game day, review the arena's disabled guest guide and its event seating maps.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Barclays Center skip some section numbers?

The arena's current map leaves out several numbers, such as lower sections 2, 5, 11 and 14 and upper sections 201, 208 and 216. Two numbers in sequence are therefore not always neighbors, so check the map before buying seats across sections.

Where does the Nets bench sit at Barclays Center?

The Nets map shows Brooklyn's bench at section 7, with the visiting bench a few steps away at section 9, both on one sideline.

Are the 200-level seats at Barclays Center too high?

Not in the front rows of the center blocks. Sections 206 to 210 and 222 to 226 run to row 22, and their low rows give a clear full-court view in a compact arena.

What is the F3 section at a Barclays Center concert?

It is the floor section closest to an end stage on the arena's concert map. Floor sections run from F3 near the stage to F8 near the back, unless a show sells the floor as general admission.

How deep are the lower-bowl sections at Barclays Center?

Two seating guides put them at roughly 19 or 20 rows, and both list a 19W wheelchair row high in the center sections. The 100-numbered sections above them are short.

How do I buy wheelchair seats at Barclays Center?

The arena sells accessible seats online, by email or by phone, and provides wheelchair spaces with companion seats on every level. Guest Services outside section 12 or 212 helps guests who already hold tickets.
