Bon Secours Wellness Arena Seating Chart

Center: 102–103 and 113–114 downstairs, 203 and 220 upstairs

Two rings of sections and a floor that changes with every show. The BI-LO Center chart still applies; here is how each level and layout reads.

Parking, bag policy, transit and history are on the main Bon Secours Wellness Arena guide.

Schematic Bon Secours Wellness Arena seating chart: lower sections 100 to 121 and upper 200 to 233 ring the floor, centered on 102-103 and 113-114 and on 203 and 220; the usual stage end is 106 to 110.

Reading the Bon Secours Wellness Arena seating chart

The Bon Secours Wellness Arena seating chart has two rings of numbered sections around a flat floor. The lower level runs from section 100 to 121 and the upper level from 200 to 233. The center of one long side is 102 and 103 downstairs with 203 above; the center of the other long side is 113 and 114, the arena's club seats, with 220 above. For most concerts, the best raised seats are lower sections 102, 103, 113 and 114; for the best value, take rows A or B of upper 202 to 204 or 219 to 221.

If you saved a BI-LO Center chart, it still describes the same bowl. The arena opened under that name in 1998 and became Bon Secours Wellness Arena in September 2013; locals call it the Well. What changes from night to night is not the numbering but the stage position. The arena publishes five concert layouts, and some of them close a third or more of the seats.

  • Closest: the front floor blocks, FL1 to FL3, in end-stage layouts.
  • Best raised view: 102–103 and 113–114, rows A to H.
  • Head-on: 118 to 120 at the end opposite the stage.
  • Value: upper rows A and B at the center of either side.

Lower and upper levels, section by section

The ranges and positions below are read from the arena's five official concert maps and match RateYourSeats' section pages. The maps carry no compass, so this page describes the bowl by its stage end. In the standard end-stage layout, the stage sits at the end ringed by sections 106 to 110.

Lower level: sections 100–121

Numbers run in one direction around the bowl, the opposite of a clock hand on the arena's maps.

  • First long side: 100 to 105. Section 100 sits at the far corner from the stage and 105 at the stage corner; the center line falls between 102 and 103.
  • Stage end: 106 to 110, with 108 at the center of the end.
  • Second long side: 111 to 116, from the stage corner (111) to the far corner (116); the center line falls between 113 and 114. The arena sells 113 and 114 as its club seats.
  • Far end: 117 to 121, with 119 at the center, facing an end stage straight on.

Upper level: sections 200–233

  • Above the first side: 200 to 206, with 203 at center.
  • Above the stage end: 207 to 216, wrapping both corners; 211 and 212 meet at the center of the end.
  • Above the second side: 217 to 223, with 220 at center.
  • Above the far end: 224 to 233, again wrapping both corners; 228 and 229 meet at the center.

RateYourSeats names 203 and 220 as the midcourt sections upstairs, which matches the maps.

Row letters and where seat 1 is

Lower rows. RateYourSeats lists lower sections such as 107, 110 and 113 with double-letter front rows AA, BB, CC and DD, followed by single-letter rows A through P. Row A is therefore the fifth row from the floor, not the first, and row P is the top row, where the section entrance sits.

Upper rows. Upper sections, such as 202 and 210, run from row A to row S, with the entrance at row B. A reviewer describes about 20 rows per upper section. Because the entrance is at the front, rows A and B sit below the tunnel and avoid stair climbing and foot traffic; every row above B means climbing past the entrance.

Seat numbers. RateYourSeats states that when you face the floor, lower-numbered seats are on your right. On the arena's maps, sections number in the counterclockwise direction, so seat 1 falls on the side next to the higher-numbered neighbor: in 113, toward 114. This rule comes from one guide only; confirm with the seat range painted at the row end.

The five concert layouts and the best seats in each

The arena's seating page offers five maps. Each carries a disclosure that seat locations may vary and that the stage position may change.

  • 360 End Stage: every section is on sale, including the lower 106 to 110 and upper 207 to 216 that sit beside and behind the stage. The floor holds blocks FL1 to FL9, three across and three deep, with an unlabeled block, typically the sound and lighting desk, where FL8 would be.
  • 270 End Stage: the behind-the-stage sections 106 to 110 and 208 to 215 are closed; 105, 111, 207 and 216 stay open at the stage corners.
  • 180 End Stage: the arena's map closes the whole stage half of the bowl, lower 104 to 112 apart from slivers of 104 and 112, and upper 205 to 218. The unlabeled block again replaces FL8.
  • 360 Center Stage: the stage moves to the middle of the floor, every section opens, and the floor becomes ten blocks, FL1 to FL10, wrapped around the stage.
  • Theater End Stage: the stage moves toward the middle of the floor and only six floor blocks remain. The lower level is open from 102 around the far end to 114, and the upper level from 221 around to 202.

Where to sit for an end-stage show

  • Floor FL1 to FL3: the closest rows. The floor is flat, so from FL7 and FL9 a raised side seat often sees more.
  • Lower 103 and 113: RateYourSeats recommends them as an alternative to the floor, with a mild side angle and rows that rise above the seats in front.
  • Lower 118 to 120: head-on, at the far end.
  • Upper 203 and 220: per RateYourSeats, the best upstairs view when the stage is in front of 108, close to the stage without a severe angle.

Seats to skip

In a 360 end-stage layout, lower 106 to 110 and upper 207 to 216 are sold but sit beside or behind the stage; RateYourSeats warns that 107, 110 and 210 may have limited views. In a center-stage show, no section is behind the stage, and the middle of either long side is the safe pick.

Swamp Rabbits hockey, basketball and arena events

For Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey, the rink runs the length of the floor, so the long sides, 100 to 105 and 111 to 116, are the sideline seats and 102–103 and 113–114 are center ice. The team does not publish bench locations on its venue page, and neither guide consulted names them, so check the Swamp Rabbits seating map when you buy. Stadium Journey reports that the upper level is often closed on nights when attendance is projected to be low, which concentrates the crowd in the lower bowl.

For basketball, such as NCAA tournament sessions, RateYourSeats lists four courtside sections and names lower 101 to 104 and 112 to 115 as the sideline picks. It warns that the baseline and corner sections, such as 107 and 110, sit a long way from the court with empty space in front of the AA rows. Upstairs, take 203 or 220, and for corner or end sections sit as low as possible, especially for multi-game sessions with lots of trips up the stairs.

For Monster Jam, bull riding and other dirt shows, the whole floor is the event, so the middle of the long sides gives the most even view of both ends.

Bon Secours Wellness Arena views by level

  • Floor: closest to the stage, but flat; the farther back the block, the more you watch the screens.
  • Lower rows AA to DD: nearest the floor in the bowl; in the end sections at basketball games, RateYourSeats notes these rows face a lot of open floor.
  • Lower rows A to H: raised above the floor crowd with a direct line to the stage or rink, the best balance in the building.
  • Lower rows J to P: higher, with the concourse at your back at row P; a good angle on the whole floor.
  • Upper rows A and B: below the tunnel, with an unobstructed overhead view of the floor.
  • Upper rows C to S: behind the entrance and farther up; the view stays clear but the stage gets small, especially in the end sections.

Accessible seating, club seats and lounges

Accessible seating. The arena's A to Z guide lists three public accessible seating areas, in sections 105B, 111B and 116B, plus individual accessible seats in the upper level and on the floor when available. The areas are reserved for guests with disabilities and their companions. Elevators are at the First Citizens Bank and Furman University entrances, and the Furman entrance is next to the accessible parking spaces. Note that in the theater layout, 105 and 111 are in the closed part of the bowl, leaving 116B as the open lower-level platform; check the event map.

Club seats. The arena's club-seat program is in sections 113 and 114, which it calls the best view in the house, with a private entrance and lobby at the Premium Services Lobby and presale access.

Suites and lounges. Suites come with theater-style seats and a drink rail overlooking the arena. For select events, an Arena Lounge Upgrade adds access to the Wicked Weed Green Room or the Mezzanine Lounge; it is an add-on, not a ticket. See the arena's official seating maps and A to Z guide before you buy.
