First Horizon Coliseum Seating Chart

Midcourt: 109 and 125 · upstairs 211 and 231 · stage end at 101

The old Greensboro Coliseum chart still works: two big rings numbered counterclockwise from the south end, lettered rows and a concert stage at the 101 end.

Parking, bag policy, transit and history are on the main First Horizon Coliseum guide.

Schematic First Horizon Coliseum seating chart: 100-level sections 101 to 132 and 200-level 201 to 240 run counterclockwise, with midcourt at 109 and 125 and at 211 and 231; 101 and 117 center the ends.

The First Horizon Coliseum chart is the Greensboro Coliseum chart

The First Horizon Coliseum seating chart has two rings around a long arena floor: the 100 level (sections 101 to 132, the lower bowl) and the 200 level (sections 201 to 240, the upper bowl). Section 101 sits at the center of the south end and section 117 at the center of the north end. Midcourt is section 109 on one sideline and 125 on the other, and 211 and 231 sit above them. For basketball, the best seats are the middle rows of 107 to 111 and 123 to 127; the best upper-level value is the front rows of 211 and 231.

A Greensboro Coliseum seating chart still applies. The arena took the First Horizon name in October 2024 under a naming-rights deal, and the bowl, section numbers and row letters stayed the same, so older maps, seat-view photos and ticket stubs describe the same seats.

  • Closest raised seats: the lower sideline sections, 107 to 111 and 123 to 127.
  • Upper value: 211 and 231, front rows.
  • Concert head-on: 117 and 221, facing a stage at the 101 end.
  • Farthest: the top rows of the 200-level corners.

Section numbers and direction on each level

Two maps agree on the layout: a University of North Carolina at Greensboro commencement map of the coliseum, which marks the north, south, east and west concourses, and RateYourSeats' current UNCG basketball and concert charts. On both, the numbers run counterclockwise when the arena is viewed from above with north at the top.

100 level: 101 to 132

Section 101 is the center of the south end. From there the numbers run 102 to 105 around the southeast corner, 106 to 113 down the east sideline (109 and 110 are the middle sections), 114 and 115 in the northeast corner, and 116 to 118 across the north end, with 117 at center. The numbers continue through 119 and 120 in the northwest corner, 121 to 128 along the west sideline (124 and 125 in the middle), and 129 to 132 in the southwest corner back to 101. RateYourSeats names 109 and 125 as the midcourt sections and 107, 108, 110, 111, 123, 124, 126 and 127 as the sideline sections around them.

200 level: 201 to 240

The upper ring has 40 sections because it wraps a larger circle. On RateYourSeats' charts, 201 sits above the south end behind 101, 211 is the center of the east side, 221 sits above the north end, and 231 is the center of the west side, with the numbers running the same counterclockwise way. Sections 201 and 221 are sold as a club section for some events and stay closed for others, according to RateYourSeats.

Floor

For end-stage concerts the floor is sold as Floor A, B and C, three long blocks running from the stage toward the north end. Wrestling and boxing cards add ringside floor sections.

Lettered rows and where seat 1 sits

Rows. The coliseum letters its rows instead of numbering them, and the lower bowl uses two runs of letters. RateYourSeats lists section 109 at midcourt as rows E and F and then AA to SS for most events, and the end sections 101 and 117 as rows A to L followed by AA to PP or AA to SS. It says row AA is usually the first row for both concerts and basketball, so the single-letter rows at the ends are front rows that most events do not use. In 117 there is no row I, which makes row K the tenth row from the floor.

Upper rows. The 200 level continues the lettering. RateYourSeats lists 211 as rows A to D, then an open gap, then E to Z and AAA to BBB, and 204 as rows D to Z and AAA to BBB. A ticket in row AAA or BBB is at the top of the building.

Seat numbering. RateYourSeats says that when you face the court or stage, the lower seat numbers are on your left, with seat 1 on the far left aisle and about 14 or 15 seats per row in sections such as 109 and 117. That is the reverse of many arenas, and it comes from one guide, so confirm on your ticket's seat map if an aisle seat matters.

Best seats for basketball and hockey

ACC and UNCG basketball

RateYourSeats' UNCG chart puts the team benches and the scorer's table on the east sideline in front of 105 to 113, and the press table on the west sideline in front of 121 to 129. UNCG sells on-court seats along the sideline across from the benches and a riser section in the first five rows of the center court sections.

  • Pick: 109 and 125 in the middle rows, which see both baskets without the floor-level crowd in the way.
  • Next best: 107, 108, 110, 111 and 123, 124, 126, 127.
  • Upper value: 211 and 231 and their neighbors, front rows.
  • Think twice: the end sections. RateYourSeats notes that the ends sit well back from the court because the floor is large enough for hockey and concerts, and that seats 5 to 11 of 117, directly behind the basket, can lose the far end of the court behind the backboard.

Gargoyles hockey

The complex's hockey page and the seating guides checked for this page do not show bench or penalty-box locations, so stick to the center of either long side. A seat about 10 rows up in 108 to 110 or 124 to 126 shows the whole rink over the glass. Behind-the-net seats in the 101 and 117 ends put you close to one goal and far from the other.

End-stage concert layout

RateYourSeats' end-stage chart places the stage at the south end in front of section 101. With that layout, the sections behind and beside the stage are closed: 127 to 132 and 101 to 107 downstairs, and 233 to 240 and 201 to 209 upstairs. RateYourSeats also lists 101 and 204 as behind or beside the stage for most concerts. Seats that are sold run from 108 to 126 on the lower level and 210 to 232 on the upper level.

  • Floor: Floor A runs along the east side, Floor B down the middle and Floor C along the west side. RateYourSeats picks Floor B for the straightest view. The floor is flat, so a short fan in a back floor row may see more from a raised seat.
  • Raised and close: 108 to 112 and 122 to 126, which RateYourSeats lists as the best side sections for concerts.
  • Head-on: 117 at the north end and 221 above it, which face the stage directly.
  • Skip: the last open sections on each side upstairs, 210 and 232, if the show relies on its video wall, because they view the stage almost side-on.

Stage position can change by tour; check the map attached to your event.

First Horizon Coliseum seat views by level

  • Floor: closest to the action and flat, so sightlines depend on the crowd in front of you.
  • Lower sideline, rows AA to KK: the classic broadcast angle for basketball, close enough to read players' faces.
  • Lower sideline, upper rows toward SS: a full view of the floor, with more distance than in a smaller arena because the bowl is long and deep.
  • Lower ends: farther from the court than the section number suggests, since the floor runs well past the baselines.
  • 200 level, rows A to Z: a high, complete view; the center sections 211 and 231 are the best of them.
  • 200 level, AAA and BBB: the top rows of a big bowl and the longest look at the court in the building.

OG Club seats and accessible seating

OG Club seats. The complex describes its OG Club seats as located along the sides and north end of the upper level, with members choosing their own seat location. RateYourSeats separately lists 201 and 221, at the two ends of the upper level, as a club section opened for select events. The two descriptions differ, so check the event map before you assume a 200-level seat includes club access.

Accessible seating. The complex says accessible seats are available in all of its venues and are sold through Ticketmaster and the coliseum box office. Its online pages do not map them, but the UNCG commencement map of the coliseum marked wheelchair and restricted-mobility seating in lower sections 106, 112, 116, 118, 124 and 128 and upper sections 209, 213, 215, 217, 219, 223, 224, 227, 229 and 233. Treat that list as a guide, since locations can shift with the floor setup.

Elevators at the north and south ends of the coliseum reach the upper levels, assistive listening devices are free for entertainment events at Guest Services or from ushers, and Guest Services is at section 103. Details are on the complex's accessibility page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the First Horizon Coliseum seating chart the same as the Greensboro Coliseum chart?

Yes. The Greensboro Coliseum was renamed First Horizon Coliseum in October 2024, and the sections, rows and seats did not change, so a Greensboro Coliseum chart still applies.

How are seats and rows numbered at First Horizon Coliseum?

Rows are lettered, with AA usually the first row in the lower bowl and rows running up to about SS. Per RateYourSeats, seat 1 is on your left as you face the court or stage.

Where is center court at First Horizon Coliseum?

Sections 109 and 125 are midcourt in the lower bowl, per RateYourSeats, and 211 and 231 are the center sections above them. The benches and scorer's table are on the 105 to 113 side.

What is the view like from the upper level at First Horizon Coliseum?

Complete but distant. The front rows of 211 and 231 are the best upper seats; the top rows, AAA and BBB, and the upper corners are the farthest seats in the building.

Which sections are behind the stage at a First Horizon Coliseum concert?

On the common end-stage layout the stage is at the 101 end, so 127 to 132, 101 to 107, 233 to 240 and 201 to 209 are closed or behind it. Sections 117 and 221 face the stage head-on.

Where are the OG Club seats at First Horizon Coliseum?

The complex places OG Club seats along the sides and north end of the upper level. RateYourSeats also lists sections 201 and 221 as a club section for select events.
