Reading the Gainbridge Fieldhouse seating chart
The Gainbridge Fieldhouse seating chart uses three number series: lower-level sections 1 through 20 wrap the court, an elevated tier of 100s (101–107 and 114–120) sits above the sidelines and corners, and the Balcony, sections 201 through 232, rings the top. Midcourt is section 5 on the benches' side and 16 across from it. For a Pacers or Fever game, the best seats are sections 4–6 and 15–17; the best value is the lower rows of Balcony sections 208, 209, 224 and 225.
A Bankers Life Fieldhouse or Conseco Fieldhouse seating chart still matches this building. The arena was renamed in 2011 and again in 2021, and the section numbers stayed the same, so older seat maps and seat-view photos remain useful.
- Closest: courtside sections CRT-A through CRT-L, all within a few rows of the floor.
- Best balance: the Sideline Club sections 4–6 and 15–17.
- Elevated value: the center 100s, 104–106 and 115–117.
- Budget: Balcony center sections, rows 1–10.
Lower level, 100s and Balcony: how the numbers run
Section ranges come from the RateYourSeats section directory; TickPick's Pacers guide matches them and supplies the bench and seat-count details.
Lower level: sections 1–20
Sections 1 and 20 meet behind one basket, and the numbers run around the court from there. Sections 4, 5 and 6 sit on the bench sideline, 15, 16 and 17 on the other, and the far end is covered by 9 through 12. The end and corner sections (1, 7–14 and 20) climb higher than the sideline blocks, with suites set into the bowl partway up; RateYourSeats counts their upper rows as part of the lower bowl even though they reach the height of the 100s.
The 100s: sections 101–107 and 114–120
This tier is a short second deck above the sidelines and corners, on what the arena calls the Krieg DeVault Level. Its sections start roughly 20 to 25 rows above the floor and hold about 11 or 12 rows each. Sources disagree on what a 100s ticket includes: TickPick describes every 100s seat as a club seat, while RateYourSeats says the seats carry no special club access. Check your ticket description before you count on club perks.
Balcony: sections 201–232
The Balcony circles the whole building. The center sections are 208–209 on one side and 224–225 on the other, and the end sections are the shallowest.
Numbered rows and where seat 1 sits
Rows. Rows here are numbered, not lettered, starting with row 1 at the front of each section. RateYourSeats shows the lower sideline sections running to row 16, the 100s to row 11 or 12, and the Balcony's long side sections to row 23, with the Balcony entrance near row 3. The two guides do not always match: TickPick lists section 227 running to row 19, while RateYourSeats lists it to row 21. Treat any single row count as approximate.
Bench-side rows. TickPick notes that sections 4 and 6 have no rows 2 or 3 behind the benches, so row 4 sits right behind the players.
Seat numbering. Two seating guides agree: TickPick says seat 1 is on the aisle next to the lower-numbered neighboring section, and RateYourSeats says seat 1 is on the right end of the row as you face the court. In section 4, for example, seat 1 is next to section 3. Lower sections typically run to about seat 20.
Seats per row. According to TickPick, the center 100s hold just eight seats per row in two groups of four, Balcony center sections 208, 209, 224 and 225 hold 24 per row, and the four sections next to them hold 26.
Best seats for Pacers and Fever games
Both guides put the Pacers' bench in front of section 4 and the visitors' bench in front of 6, with the scorer's table at 5. That makes 4–6 the bench side and 15–17 the view of both benches.
- Courtside: CRT-A through CRT-L, every seat less than five rows from the court, according to RateYourSeats. CRT-C and CRT-D at center court are the camera-facing seats.
- Sideline Club: 4–6 come with the Sire Spirits 67 Club and 15–17 with the Ticketmaster Hardwood Club, per RateYourSeats.
- Elevated pick: 105 and 116 in the 100s. The short sections keep every row close, and the height shows plays forming.
- Balcony pick: 208, 209, 224 and 225, rows 1–10. The first ten rows are closer to the floor and the concourse.
- Fun section: RateYourSeats describes the area around section 102 as a loud student-style cheering section; good for energy, less so for a quiet night with children.
- Think twice: low rows of 1, 20, 10 and 11, where the stanchion sits in your view, and the higher rows of the corner sections, where the basket gets in the way.
Concerts and other layouts
For most end-stage concerts, the stage is set in front of sections 1 and 20, per RateYourSeats. The floor usually has three reserved sections: Floor 1 closest to the stage, Floor 2 in the middle and Floor 3 at the back, with the mixing booth in the back half of Floor 3. Select events add accessible Floor sections 4 and 5. In the standard layout, each floor section is split by aisles into a right block (about seats 1–12), a center block (about 21–36) and a left block (about 41–52).
- Best floor seats: the high 20s in the front rows of Floor 1, or the front row of Floor 2 behind an aisle.
- Best lower-bowl angle: the far-end sections around 9–12, which face the stage. RateYourSeats prefers 12 over 13 and 14, which are angled toward midcourt rather than the stage.
- Elevated: 104 and 117 in the 100s for a close, raised view of the stage.
- Balcony: 208 and 225, near the stage without a severe angle.
- Avoid: sections next to and behind the stage, such as 1, 2, 19 and 20 downstairs and the 201–206 and 227–232 blocks upstairs, which RateYourSeats flags as side or rear views.
Wrestling and fight cards place a ring at the center of the floor with ringside seats on all sides.
Seat views by level
The Fieldhouse was built for basketball, so seat views are closer than in many arenas of the same size.
- Courtside and front rows: floor-level drama, foreshortened far end.
- Lower sidelines, rows 6–16: the reference view, raised just enough to clear the courtside seats.
- The 100s: a high mezzanine look, like a broadcast camera, from close range.
- Balcony, rows 1–10: high above the court but with a full view; one reviewer describes the Balcony as feeling high even in row 1.
- Balcony, upper rows: the top of the long side sections, a steep climb from the row 3 entrance. The center-hung videoboard is in clear view from every Balcony seat.
Suites, terraces and accessible seating
Suites sit on the KeyBank Suite Level. RateYourSeats also lists four-seat terrace tables in sections 2 and 3, which give you a ledge for food and drinks, and four-seat boxes with personal monitors.
Accessible seating. The arena says wheelchair locations and modified aisle seats are dispersed both vertically and horizontally throughout the building, sold through Ticketmaster or the box office; tell the seller you need accessible seating when you buy. Elevators serving all levels are in the northeast area of the building. Guest services desks are on the Main Concourse at section 2, the Krieg DeVault Level at section 119 and the Balcony across from sections 206 and 207, and a sensory room is at section 119. Captioning boards are above sections 1/20, 7 and 14 during Pacers and Fever games. Read the Fieldhouse accessibility page for current details.
Frequently asked questions

Seat 1 is on the right end of the row as you face the court, next to the lower-numbered neighboring section. Rows are numbered too, starting with row 1 at the front.
What is the view like from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse Balcony?
High but complete. The center Balcony sections 208–209 and 224–225 in rows 1–10 give a full-court view, and the center-hung videoboard is in view from every seat.
How many rows are in a Gainbridge Fieldhouse section?
Lower sideline sections run to about row 16, the 100s to row 11 or 12, and the largest Balcony side sections to row 23, per RateYourSeats. Other guides differ slightly on some sections.
Where is the Pacers bench at Gainbridge Fieldhouse?
In front of section 4, with the visitors in front of 6 and the scorer's table at 5. Sections 15–17 sit across the court.
Is Gainbridge Fieldhouse the same as Bankers Life Fieldhouse?

Are the 100s at Gainbridge Fieldhouse club seats?
Guides disagree. TickPick treats all 100s as club seats, while RateYourSeats says they carry no special access. Read your ticket description to see what is included.
