Upcoming events at Acrisure Stadium

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Picking a North Shore seat fast

For most fans, the right seat at Acrisure Stadium is a sideline section in the 100 level, about a third of the way up, or a 200-level club seat if the game falls in December. The 500 level between the 20-yard lines is the value play, and the north-end bleachers are the budget play with the longest look at the far goal line.

The building is a 68,400-seat horseshoe with no roof. Two three-deck grandstands run along the sidelines, bleachers close the north end, and the south end is open to the downtown skyline across the river. That shape matters more than anything on a seat map: the open end lets the wind in, and cover comes only from the deck above you.

  • Best overall: lower sideline, middle rows.
  • Best in bad weather: 200-level club, back rows.
  • Best value: upper sideline between the 20s.
  • Best view of the city: north-end seats looking south through the open end.

How the three decks are numbered

Section numbers tell you the deck. The ranges below match the venue's guest guide, which cites sections from each range, and a fan seat-view database.

100 level: sections 101–152

The lower bowl (the deck closest to the field) wraps all the way around, with field-club sections marked FC. These are the closest seats and the priciest along the sidelines.

200 level: sections 205–240

The club deck, which runs along the sidelines and comes with access to indoor club space. It sits low enough that players stay readable and high enough that you see plays develop.

500 level: sections 504–541

The upper deck, including the north-end bleachers. It carries the lowest prices in the building and the most exposure to wind.

Premium

Suites and the NC club sections sit between the main decks.

Pricing on every deck follows the same curve: highest at midfield, lower toward the corners, lowest behind the end zones. Published guides do not reliably say which sideline holds the Steelers bench, so check the seat map attached to your listing if you want to sit behind the home team.

Matching the seat to the event

Steelers games

Middle rows of the lower sideline give you closeness without losing depth. The front few rows look tempting, but players and staff standing on the sideline block a surprising amount of the field. If you want to read formations and watch the secondary, the upper sideline between the 20s is a better football seat than a low corner, and it costs less.

Pitt Panthers games

Pitt plays fall Saturdays here and usually has more inventory than the Steelers, so you can aim for a better section at the same budget. Demand climbs for rivals and ranked opponents.

Concerts

For an end-stage setup, lower and club sideline sections near the stage end give the cleanest angle. The far end of the 500 level is the longest distance in the stadium. Stage layouts vary by tour, so confirm on the listing map.

The stadium also hosts outdoor hockey and other summer events; the same rule applies: sideline seats first, end zones last.

Seats that cost you comfort

This is a riverfront stadium with an open end, and the late season can bring cold, rain and wind straight through the south opening.

  • Front rows of any deck in December: fully exposed, with nothing overhead.
  • The south end zone: the skyline is behind you, so you face away from the view, and the weather comes in at your back.
  • North-end bleachers: loud and affordable, but the far end zone is a long way off.
  • Very low lower-bowl rows: sideline traffic blocks sightlines.

To stay drier, pick the back rows of a deck, tucked under the overhang of the deck above. One fan review notes that club section 224 stays shaded the whole game for that reason. Umbrellas are allowed inside but cannot be opened in the stands, so pack a rain shell. The grass field is known to turn sloppy in wet weather, which can slow the game.

For families, the venue designates section 120, rows BB through HH, as alcohol-free seating.

Steelers and Pitt demand, game by game

Steelers tickets sit near the top of NFL demand, and Steeler Nation travels in large numbers to road games as well. At home, the AFC North matchups with the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns draw the heaviest interest, along with prime-time kickoffs and late-season games that carry playoff stakes. Preseason games in August are the easiest entry.

For Pitt, prices usually ease for nonconference games and rise for rivalry weekends. Concert demand depends on the act, with floor and lower sideline seats going first. Orders placed through Reserved Seat carry a 100% guarantee.

The T, ParkMobile lots and gate rules

Light rail and riverboat

The easiest approach skips the car. Pittsburgh's T stops at Allegheny Station, linked to the stadium by a raised walkway, and at North Side Station. The Gateway Clipper also runs riverboat service on game days.

Driving and parking

As of the 2026 season, stadium parking is split into Gold, Red, Blue and Green lots plus the Champions Garage (more than 400 spaces at West General Robinson Street and Tony Dorsett Drive). Most lot passes are sold ahead of Steelers games through ParkMobile, and Champions Garage passes are mobile only. Event-day spots exist at select locations and take cards only. Tailgating follows ALCO Parking's lot rules and is not allowed in the garage. The stadium suggests alternate routes to avoid backups at I-279 Exit 1B. Current lot maps are on the stadium's parking page.

Gates and bags

As of the 2026 season, the stadium uses a clear-bag policy (bags must be transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC, smaller than 12 by 6 by 12 inches). A small non-clear clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches is also allowed. Unusually for the NFL, you can bring a factory-sealed plastic bottle of water or soft drink of 24 ounces or less. Coolers, thermoses and glass are prohibited.

  • Gates open two hours before kickoff at Gate A East and West, Gate B, Gate C and the FedEx Great Hall.
  • Leaving ends your visit; there is no re-entry.
  • Payments are cashless, and the FedEx Great Hall ticket window converts cash to a prepaid card until halftime.
  • The entire stadium is smoke-free.

Rules change, so review the stadium's A–Z guide before game day.

Three Rivers, Heinz Field and the rename

The Steelers moved here from Three Rivers Stadium, their home from 1970 to 2000, and the new building opened in August 2001 as Heinz Field. It took the name Acrisure Stadium in July 2022 through a naming-rights agreement. Populous designed it.

Inside, the FedEx Great Hall holds about 40,000 square feet of Steelers and Panthers memorabilia, including Pro Football Hall of Fame lockers and trophy displays. The playing surface has been Kentucky bluegrass since 2009, with a heating system underneath.

Non-football highlights include the 2011 NHL Winter Classic, a 2017 NHL Stadium Series game and a Taylor Swift concert in June 2023 that drew 73,117. In April 2026 the NFL Draft was held outside the stadium and at Point State Park, with a reported record crowd.
