Parking, bag policy, transit and history are on the main Ariat Arena guide.
The Ariat Arena chart is the Dickies Arena chart
The Ariat Arena seating chart has two numbered rings: the Plaza Level (sections 101 to 132) close to the floor, and the Gallery Level (sections 201 to 232) above a band of loge boxes and suites. Both rings number clockwise from the southwest corner. For basketball the best seats are midcourt, sections 107 and 123, and the value play is directly above them in Gallery sections 207 and 223, which are only six rows deep.
If you saved a Dickies Arena seating chart, it still works. The building was renamed Ariat Arena on October 26, 2026, and the bowl, the section numbers and the rows did not change. The arena's own seating diagrams, drawn in 2020 and published in its technical guide, still carry the Dickies name, and resale sites will show both names for a while. Search for either and you will land on the same map.
Section numbers on each level and which way they run
The section order below comes from the arena's official basketball, hockey and end-stage diagrams in its technical guide. Compass points come from the same guide, which calls the south end the stage end, and from the arena's accessibility page, which places section 129 by the South VIP Entrance and section 114 by the North VIP Entrance.
Plaza Level: sections 101-132
- Southwest corner: 101, a small corner section.
- West sideline: 104 through 110, with 107 at midcourt and the scorer's table in front of it for basketball.
- North end: 111 through 119, wrapping the corners, with 114 to 116 at the center of the end.
- East sideline: 120 through 126, with 123 at midcourt.
- South end: 127 through 132, the end where concert stages go.
Loge boxes and suites
Between the rings sit the loge boxes and suites. In the arena's answers to a 2020s event bid, it listed 36 private suites, four party suites and 32 loge boxes. RateYourSeats sells the loge boxes as their own seating category.
Gallery Level: sections 201-232
- Southwest corner: 201 and 202.
- West side: 203 through 211, with 207 at center. 207 is the short section above the midcourt entry, 84 seats on the arena's chart.
- North end: 212 through 218, with 215 at center; the arena's elevator guide puts 213 at the northwest corner.
- East side: 219 through 227, with 223 at center; 229 sits at the southeast elevator.
- South end: 228 through 232.
Because the Gallery has more sections on each side than the Plaza, a Gallery number is not the Plaza number plus 100 everywhere. It lines up at the midcourt pairs, 107 and 207, 123 and 223, and drifts toward the corners.
Rows and seat numbers
The official diagrams show seats but are too small to read row labels, so the row details here come from RateYourSeats' section pages.
- Seat 1: facing the floor or stage, lower seat numbers are on your right.
- Midcourt Plaza (107, 123): two lettered rows, A and B, then numbered rows 1 to 22. For concerts, row AA is usually the first row. Row 1 is therefore not the front row.
- Other Plaza sidelines: 104 runs from row 2 to 23, and the guide notes row 7 is usually the first row at basketball games. 120 and 126 run 1 to 23.
- Plaza corners: 101, 111, 113 and 129 begin at row 7, so there is no row 1 in those sections.
- Plaza ends: 115 and 117 run 1 to 20; the south-end 132 runs only 1 to 13.
- Gallery: short. 207, 215 and 223 have six rows; corner sections such as 201 and 230 have eight.
Every Plaza and Gallery section is entered from the top row, since the concourses sit above each level. The architect, HKS, says the bowl gets steeper as it rises, which is why a six-row Gallery section still looks straight down on the floor.
Basketball and hockey: where to sit
On the arena's basketball diagram, the scorer's table sits in front of section 107, and temporary riser blocks fill each baseline in front of the end sections. RateYourSeats marks 107, 123, 207 and 223 as midcourt and 106, 108, 122, 124, 206, 208, 222 and 224 as the next-best sideline seats.
- Best overall: 107 and 123, mid-section.
- Best upper: 207 and 223. With six rows, every seat is close to the rail.
- Think twice: low corner rows and the end sections behind the riser blocks, which see the near basket well and the far end poorly.
Hockey
The arena's hockey diagram places the home players' box in front of 106 and 107, the visitors' box beside it toward 108, and the penalty box across the ice in front of 123. That makes 122 to 124 the best view of both benches, and 107 or 108 the seats behind them. The hockey layout lists general admission space at the north end and accessible spaces at the south.
Rodeo, concert and center-stage layouts
Rodeo
For the Stock Show rodeo, the floor becomes a dirt arena and the front of the bowl is sold as rodeo boxes on their own Rodeo Box Level. The arena's elevator guide says odd-numbered boxes are reached from the North Club elevator and even-numbered boxes from the South Club elevator. HKS says the boxes are the closest seats to the dirt, with a walkway behind them for fans standing on the wall. Mid-height Plaza sideline seats see the whole arena floor over the rail.
End-stage concerts
The stage goes at the south end, in front of sections 129 to 132 and Gallery 230 to 232. The arena's end-stage diagram shows floor sections 1 to 6 in front of the stage and riser sections 14, 15 and 16 at the north end, in front of the Plaza end sections. The diagram also lists sightline options: a 180-degree house for 11,111, then 220, 240 and 270 degrees, up to 13,213 seated when every seat is sold. How far around the bowl your show sells depends on the production.
- Head-on: riser sections 14 and 15 and Plaza 115 face the stage; RateYourSeats notes row 3 is usually the first concert row in 14 and 15.
- Best balance: 105 to 109 and 121 to 124, which RateYourSeats picks as the side seats.
- Limited view: 101, 129 and Gallery 201 and 230 are behind or beside the stage for most shows.
Center stage
With the stage in the middle of the floor, the arena's chart seats 13,459, every section is in play, and midcourt Plaza seats become the closest raised view from any side.
Capacity by layout, and why the numbers differ
The arena's technical guide, revised in March 2021, lists 12,757 for basketball, 11,556 for hockey, 8,464 for rodeo, 13,213 for a seated end-stage concert, 14,275 with a standing floor, 13,459 for a seated center stage and 14,211 for center stage with a standing floor. Wikipedia and the Stock Show use higher rounded figures, such as 13,550 for basketball and about 9,300 to 9,400 for rodeo. The difference comes from how many floor and riser seats each event installs, so treat the technical guide as the seated bowl and the larger figures as the maximum.
Accessible seating and elevators
The arena says accessible seating is on all levels, and a buyer can add up to three companion seats next to an accessible space. In its written answers to a 2020s event bid, the arena listed accessible positions in Plaza sections 101, 106, 108, 113, 115, 117, 122, 124 and 129, and Gallery sections 207, 212, 215, 218, 223, 230 and 232. Confirm current locations with the box office, since layouts can change.
- Southeast elevator: Plaza near 129, the club level by Loge Box 10, and Gallery 229.
- Northwest elevator: floor access, Plaza near 114, the club level by Loge Box 4, and Gallery 213.
- Club elevators: the North Club elevator serves 116 and the odd rodeo boxes; the South Club elevator serves the Reliant Club near 132 and the even rodeo boxes.
Details are on the arena's accessibility page.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Ariat Arena seating chart the same as the Dickies Arena seating chart?
Yes. Dickies Arena became Ariat Arena on October 26, 2026, and the sections, rows and seats are unchanged, so a Dickies Arena chart still matches.
Which sections are at midcourt at Ariat Arena?
Plaza sections 107 and 123 and Gallery sections 207 and 223. The scorer's table sits in front of 107 on the arena's basketball chart.
How are seats numbered at Ariat Arena, and what is the view like?
Facing the floor, seat 1 and the lower numbers are on your right, per RateYourSeats. The bowl steepens as it rises, so Gallery seats look down on the floor from close range.
How many rows are in each section at Ariat Arena?
Plaza sideline sections run to about row 22 or 23, and midcourt sections add rows A and B in front of row 1. Gallery sections have only six to eight rows.
Where is the stage for concerts at Ariat Arena?
At the south end, in front of Plaza sections 129 to 132. Riser sections 14 to 16 and Plaza 115 face it head-on from the north end.
Where is accessible seating at Ariat Arena?
On every level. The arena has listed accessible positions in Plaza sections such as 106, 108, 122 and 124 and Gallery sections such as 207 and 223, each with up to three companion seats.
