Midcourt: Charter 8/22, Plaza 107/122 · value: Balcony 208/224

Charter seats at the court, the Plaza ring behind them, the Balcony on top. The old AT&T Center chart uses the same numbers, and the arena's maps fill in the rest.

Parking, bag policy, transit and history are on the main Frost Bank Center guide.

Reading the Frost Bank Center seating chart

The Frost Bank Center seating chart has three numbered rings. The Charter Level (sections 2 through 28, the club seats closest to the court) wraps the floor; the Plaza Level (sections 101 through 128) rises behind it; and the Balcony Level (sections 200 through 231) sits above a ring of Terrace suites and boxes. Midcourt is Charter 8 and 22, Plaza 107 and 122 and Balcony 208 and 224. For a Spurs game, the best all-around seats are the middle rows of Plaza 106 to 108 and 121 to 123; the best value is the first eight rows of Balcony 207 to 209 and 223 to 225.

If your ticket or saved map says AT&T Center (the name from 2006 to 2023) or SBC Center (2002 to 2006), it still applies. The building took the Frost Bank Center name in September 2023, and the arena's current Spurs map uses the same 2–28, 101–128 and 200–231 scheme that fan reviews posted under the AT&T Center name refer to.

  • Closest: courtside boxes and the Charter sideline sections 6–10 and 20–24.
  • Best balance: Plaza 106–108 and 121–123, middle rows.
  • Best value: Balcony 207–209 and 223–225, row 8 or lower.
  • Loudest: the top of Plaza 101 and 128, home of the Baseline Bums.

Charter, Plaza, Terrace and Balcony, level by level

The layout below is read from the arena's official Spurs, concert and rodeo maps, with section details checked against RateYourSeats. The Spurs map prints a north arrow: Houston Street runs along the south side, Frost Bank Center Drive along the east end, and the H-E-B Fan Zone fills the west end. On every level, numbers start at the east end and run along the south (Houston Street) sideline, around the west end and back along the north sideline, which is clockwise when the map is held with north at the top.

Charter Level: sections 2–28

Section 2 sits at the east baseline, 3 and 4 in the southeast corner, then 6, 8 and 10 along the south sideline with 8 at midcourt. Sections 14, 16 and 18 cover the west end, 20, 22 and 24 line the north sideline with 22 at midcourt, 25 and 26 take the northeast corner, and 28 closes the ring at the east baseline. The sideline sections are backed by numbered boxes: Boxes 9 through 16 behind 6 to 10, and Boxes 1 through 8 behind 20 to 24. RateYourSeats calls this the Frost Club Level; for Spurs games the seats include club access, early entry and in-seat service.

Plaza Level: sections 101–128

Section 101 sits at the east end just south of center, with 102 and 103 in the southeast corner and 104 through 110 along the south side. The center line falls at 107 and 108 (RateYourSeats names 107 as midcourt). The west end runs 111 through 118, centered on 114 and 115, and the north side runs 119 through 124, with 121 and 122 at the center line (RateYourSeats names 122) before 125 to 127 turn the northeast corner and 128 sits beside 101. The Spurs come onto the court through the tunnel between 101 and 128.

Terrace Level

A ring of private seating separates the two bowls. The arena lists Terrace Suites on the main suite level above the lower bowl, Theater Boxes behind the east baseline, and Terrace Ledge Boxes beside the Agave Club, a restaurant in the west end. Super Boxes 1A to 1C and 2A to 2C occupy the two west corners.

Balcony Level: sections 200–231

Section 200 is the east-end center section, with 201 beside it. Sections 202 to 205 turn the southeast corner, 206 to 210 line the south side (208 at center), and 211 to 214 turn the southwest corner. The west end, between 214 and 218, is the H-E-B Fan Zone: RateYourSeats lists 215X to 217X there, and for Spurs games it is a party area with a large bar. Sections 218 to 221 turn the northwest corner, 222 to 226 line the north side (224 at center), 227 to 230 turn the northeast corner, and 231 sits at the east end beside 200.

Row numbers and where seat 1 is

Seat numbering. RateYourSeats states, section by section, that when you face the court or stage, lower-numbered seats are on your right. Because sections run clockwise, that puts seat 1 on the side next to the lower-numbered neighbor: in 107, on the south sideline, the low seats are toward 106. This is one guide's rule rather than an official statement, so check the seat numbers on your ticket against the aisle signs.

Row numbers do not always start at 1. RateYourSeats lists these ranges, which are worth knowing before you compare two tickets:

  • Charter sideline: section 8 runs rows 2–13; corner section 26 runs rows 6–19; baseline section 16 has rows 1A and 1–5, with rows 1–3 sold as Courtside Club seats for Spurs games.
  • Plaza sideline: 106 and 107 begin at row 20 and run 20–27, then 29–34 behind an open walkway, with the entrance at row 27. A row 20 ticket is the front row of the section, not the middle.
  • Plaza end: 101 runs rows 6–28 and 31–34, with the entrance at row 28 and a wheelchair platform between rows 28 and 31.
  • Balcony: 208 lists row 1 and rows 5–23, with the entrance at row 3 and wheelchair seating between rows 1 and 5; 210 runs rows 1–23.

The practical lesson: in the 100 level, a low row number is only meaningful within the section you are buying. Row 22 in 107 is closer to the court than row 22 in 101.

Best seats for a Spurs game, and seats to skip

The arena's Spurs map places both benches and the press table on the south sideline, in front of Charter sections 6 to 10. The Spurs bench is on the east half, in front of section 6; the visitors' bench is on the west half, in front of 10. The arena's Courtside Club page adds that its private entrance is behind the visiting bench.

  • Behind the Spurs: Charter 6 and Plaza 105 and 106 face the court over the home bench, and the team's tunnel at the 101/128 end is a short walk away.
  • Facing both benches: Charter 20 to 24 and Plaza 120 to 123 on the north side look across at both benches, the press table and the coaches.
  • The middle rows of the Plaza sidelines: 106 to 108 and 121 to 123 sit high enough to look over the Charter seats while staying within about 35 rows of the floor, as RateYourSeats puts it.
  • Balcony center, low rows: 207 to 209 and 223 to 225. A RateYourSeats reviewer recommends row 8 or lower; the view flattens noticeably in the upper half of each section.

Seats to skip

  • Top rows of the Balcony: a reviewer describes row 23 of 210 as dark and above a camera position on the catwalk.
  • Balcony corners next to the Fan Zone (211–214 and 218–221): the longest angles in the building, beside the Fan Zone party area.
  • Top of 101 and 128 if you want quiet: the Baseline Bums, the team's long-running superfan group, sit in the highest rows there. A reviewer notes a railing in front of the first row does not block the view.

Concert setups: the stage at the west end

The arena's end-stage concert map puts the stage at the west end, in front of Plaza 114 and 115 and the Terrace Restaurant, with the mixing position (MIX) toward the east end. RateYourSeats agrees that most concert stages sit in front of 114 and 115.

The floor

The official map divides the floor into eight blocks. F1 and F2 are the two blocks against the stage and the largest, numbered to 22 on the map against 14 for the middle band (F3, F4 and F5) and 12 for the back blocks (F6 and F8 at the corners, F7 beside the mix); each block is marked 1 to 12 across. The floor is flat, so from F6 to F8 a raised Charter or Plaza seat often sees more of the stage.

Bowl seats

  • Closest raised seats: Charter 10 and 20, the sideline sections nearest the stage.
  • Best side angle: Charter 6 to 10 and 20 to 24, and Plaza 105 to 108 and 121 to 124. RateYourSeats singles out 108 and 121.
  • Straight on: Plaza 101 and 128 and Balcony 200, 201 and 231 face the stage from the far end, a full view of the lighting and video at a distance.
  • Not sold for this layout: the map shades the west-end sections around the stage (Plaza 111 to 118, the Super Boxes and Balcony 211 to 214 and 218 to 221) outside its color key, so expect them to be closed or sold only as limited-view seats.

The map's color key groups the bowl into Lower (Charter), Middle (Plaza) and H-E-B Fan Zone (Balcony) pricing zones. Some tours use a center stage or a different floor plan; check the event's own map before you buy.

Rodeo, wrestling and other floor shows

Every February the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo replaces the court with a dirt arena, and the arena's rodeo map shows how much that changes. The floor and the Charter end sections disappear: only Charter 4, 6, 8, 10, 20, 22, 24 and 26 remain, all on the sidelines and east corners. The Plaza and Balcony rings stay as they are.

  • For the rodeo: the Charter sidelines and the middle of the Plaza sides are closest to the dirt. The layout of chutes and pens is set by the show, so confirm on the event map before choosing an end.
  • For wrestling and combat sports: the ring usually sits in the middle of the floor, so the sidelines on both sides, Charter 8 and 22 and Plaza 107 and 122, are equally good, and every section faces the ring.
  • Hockey and ice shows: Wikipedia notes the bowl is asymmetrical, with few permanent lower rows at the west end and obstructed upper west-end seats for a rink; choose the sides or the east end.

Frost Bank Center views by level

  • Courtside and Charter front rows: at court level, with players and officials between you and the far side. Best for atmosphere, worst for seeing plays develop.
  • Charter upper rows and Plaza front rows (around rows 20–25 on the sides): the classic television angle, raised just enough to see over the courtside seats.
  • Plaza rows 29–34: behind the walkway and below the Terrace suites, with a full view of both baskets and the videoboard.
  • Balcony rows 1–8: the whole court and the overhead board in one frame, with a steeper look down.
  • Balcony rows 15–23: far from the floor and close to the roof; fine for the atmosphere, weak for detail.

Fan photos posted under the AT&T Center name show the same section numbers and remain a fair guide, though some premium areas, such as the Theater Boxes, are newer than the photos.

Accessible seating locations

The arena's accessibility guide says accessible seating is available on all levels, with comparable sightlines, and is sold through the box office on event days and online with an accessibility filter. The official concert and rodeo maps mark the locations:

  • Charter Level: the outer corners of 6, 10, 20 and 24.
  • Plaza Level: 108 on the south side, the back of the east-end sections 101 and 128 (the 101 platform sits between rows 28 and 31, per RateYourSeats), and the corner sections 102, 104, 110, 118, 124, 125 and 127.
  • Balcony Level: 208 and 224 at center and 201 and 231 at the east end on both maps, plus 204, 212, 213, 219, 220, 222, 228 and 229 on the concert map. In 208 the wheelchair row sits between rows 1 and 5.

Elevators at every major entry serve all levels. Sensory bags are available from Guest Services at section 101 and section 207, and a sensory room is in Balcony section 230. Check the arena's accessibility guide and the official seating charts for your event, since floor layouts change accessible positions.
