Reading the Rocket Arena chart, and the old FieldHouse maps

The Rocket Arena seating chart has a lower bowl numbered 101 through 126, a thin middle band of club (C) and Mezzanine (M) sections, and an upper bowl numbered 201 through 231 that the Cavaliers brand as Loudville. For a Cavs game the best seats are the center-court sections, 107 and 108 on one sideline and 120 and 121 on the other. For value, the low rows of the upper sideline sections around 209 and 223 to 224 show the whole floor from the same angle.

A Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse seating chart shows the same building. The arena took the Rocket Arena name in February 2025, and section numbers from the FieldHouse years still point to the same seats. Be careful with older Quicken Loans Arena charts, though: some guides still carry the pre-renovation numbering. TickPick, for example, describes the lower bowl as sections 100 to 133 with sidelines at 107-110 and 124-127, while RateYourSeats and SeatGeek both use the current 101-126 loop. Trust the current numbers and the map attached to your event.

Section ranges and the direction they run

The numbers below come from RateYourSeats' section-by-section listing, checked against SeatGeek's concert guide and the arena's own A-Z guide. Both bowls number in the same direction, so a 200-level section sits above the 100-level section with a similar position in the loop, though not with the same last two digits.

100 level: sections 101-126

  • North end: 101 sits at the center of the end opposite the usual concert stage, flanked by 102 and 126.
  • First sideline: 106 through 109, with 107 and 108 at center court. The arena's guide places section 105 at Portal 5, beside the northeast elevators, which puts this sideline on the east side.
  • South end: 110 through 118, with 114 at the center, behind the basket. RateYourSeats puts the standard end stage at this end.
  • Second sideline: 119 through 122, with 120 and 121 at center court.
  • Corners: 105, 110, 118 and 123 are the corner sections next to the sidelines.

Put together, the numbers rise from the north end down the east sideline, around the south end and back up the west side, which reads clockwise on a north-up plan. The arena does not publish that direction in words, so treat it as derived from those two sources.

Club and Mezzanine band

Above the lower sideline sections sit the club sections, C106 to C109 and C119 to C122, directly behind and above their 100-level namesakes. The Mezzanine sections, M101 to M105, M110 to M118 and M123 to M126, fill the same ring around the ends and corners.

200 level: sections 201-231

  • North end: 231, 201 and 203 face the court end-on, and the usual concert stage head-on.
  • East sideline: RateYourSeats tags 209 as a center-court section; TickPick calls 207 to 210 the best upper sideline seats.
  • South end: roughly 213 to 220, behind the stage for most concerts.
  • West sideline: 223 and 224 are the center-court sections; TickPick's best upper sideline group is 224 to 227.

Rows, entrances and seat numbers

Searchers often want a Rocket Arena seating chart with seat numbers. The arena's own maps stop at the section level, so the row and seat details here come from RateYourSeats unless noted.

  • Seat 1: when you face the court or stage, the lower seat numbers are on your right. RateYourSeats lists the same rule for every section it covers.
  • Lower sidelines (106-109, 119-122): 14 rows, numbered 1 to 14, with the entrance at the top. You walk through a tunnel under the club band and down one flight of steps.
  • Lower ends and corners: 16 rows, with the entrance at row 16. Sections 104 and 124 start at row 10. For concerts, row 9 is usually the first row in an end section such as 114.
  • Club sections: 16 rows each, per RateYourSeats. TickPick instead describes the club seats as rows 15 to 24 in its older numbering, so the two guides disagree on how club rows are labeled.
  • Mezzanine: short. M101, M103 and M126 have 12 rows, M110 and M123 have 14, and M113 to M116 have six.
  • 200 level: 17 rows in most sections, entered from a tunnel at row 3. The portal sections 223 and 224 have 12 rows.

Row 1 in a 100-level end section is not courtside. Floor seats sit in front of every lower section, so RateYourSeats notes that row 1 behind the baseline is still more than a dozen rows from the hardwood.

Best and worst seats for Cavaliers games

The Cavaliers bench sits in front of section 106, with the visitors toward 109. RateYourSeats and TickPick agree that the benches line the 106-109 sideline, though they split the visitors' spot slightly differently.

  • Best overall: 107, 108, 120 and 121, mid-section. These are the Caesars Rewards Club sections per RateYourSeats, so many seats come with club access.
  • Facing the Cavs bench: 121 and 122, straight across the floor.
  • Behind the Cavs bench: 106, from the middle rows up.
  • Club height: the C sections behind the sidelines raise you over the floor seats for a full-court view.
  • Upper value: rows 3 to 8 near center court in 207 to 210 or 223 to 227. TickPick advises staying at row 7 or below; RateYourSeats likes rows 3 to 8 because the rows are shorter and close to the tunnel.

Seats to think twice about

  • 101 and 114: directly behind the baskets. RateYourSeats says to avoid them, since the far end is hard to judge.
  • Low rows in the corners 105, 110, 118 and 123: RateYourSeats suggests skipping rows 1 to 14 there.
  • Champions Club Arena sections 1 to 4: a premium lounge seat with a view heavily affected by the basket.
  • Mezzanine baselines M101 and M114: directly behind the basket.

For a cheaper 100-level ticket that still sees both ends, RateYourSeats points to rows 10 to 16 of 102, 113, 115 and 126.

Concert layouts: end stage, floor and side views

Most concerts use an end stage at the south end, in front of sections 111 to 117. SeatGeek's guide says 110 and 118 are the last lower sections sold on each side of the stage, with 111 to 117 closed, and upstairs 214 and 219 are the last side sections, with 215 to 218 removed. RateYourSeats lists 110 to 118 and 213 to 220 as behind or beside the stage for most shows. Check the map for your own event, since productions differ.

The floor

RateYourSeats describes a standard nine-block floor: sections 1 to 3 at the front, 4 to 6 in the middle and 7 to 9 at the back. Rows run A to Z in the front blocks, AA to VV in the middle and AAA to MMM at the back. SeatGeek agrees that floor 1 to 3 is closest, with 2 in the middle. Some shows sell a general admission floor or pit instead, and then the printed row and seat mean nothing.

Where to sit

  • Best balance: 108 and 120, or 107 and 121 a little farther back. They face each other across the floor at a comfortable angle to the stage.
  • Closer but sideways: 109 and 119, near the stage, at a sharper angle.
  • Straight on: 101, 102 and 126 below, or 201 above, see the full production and lighting.
  • Upper sides: RateYourSeats names 211 and 222 as the closest 200-level sections that still see the whole stage.

For a center-stage show, the stage moves to mid-floor and the sideline sections become the closest raised seats, while the Champions Club lounge sections sometimes go on sale.

The view from each level

  • Floor: closest, but flat. Behind the baskets at Cavs games, the floor rows have little slope, so taller fans in front can block the view.
  • 100 level: short sideline sections, 14 rows, so even the top row stays close. The end sections are deeper at 16 rows and sit behind floor seating.
  • Club and Mezzanine: the club rows add height and a clean angle to the whole court. The Mezzanine is a short ring, so its seats have few rows and good elevation for the price.
  • 200 level: steep, with two steps between rows according to RateYourSeats, and the farthest seats from the floor. The center-hung video board helps from the upper rows. The building is not wide, so the upper corners still see both baskets.

Clubs, elevators and accessible seating

Premium seating is spread through the bowl. RateYourSeats lists the courtside floor clubs (the Lexus Signature Lounge, the Chairman's Club and the Court Club), the Caesars Rewards Club rows in 107-108 and 120-121 with a lounge in the northwest corner, the C sections with in-seat service, and the Champions Club behind one basket. What a ticket includes changes by event, so read the ticket description.

Rocket Arena does not publish accessible seating by section number. Its A-Z guide says to use the Accessible filter on the event page, and if the option is missing, the accessible seats are sold out. TickPick reports accessible rows at the top of most sections, which matches the top-of-section entrances RateYourSeats lists for the lower bowl. The arena lists seven passenger elevators and two escalators: the northwest elevators at Portal 29, the northeast elevators near Portals 4 and 5, and escalators from street level to the 200 level at Portals 8 and 25. Complimentary wheelchair escorts are available inside the building. Check the arena's A-Z guide for current details before you go.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Rocket Arena seating chart the same as the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse chart?

Yes. It is the same building, renamed in February 2025, and FieldHouse-era section numbers still match. Some older Quicken Loans Arena charts use different lower-bowl numbers, so rely on the current 101-126 map.

Which sections are at center court at Rocket Arena?

Sections 107 and 108 on the Cavaliers bench side and 120 and 121 across the floor, per RateYourSeats. Upstairs, 209 and 223-224 are the center-court sections.

How are seats numbered at Rocket Arena, and what is the view like?

Facing the court or stage, seat 1 and the lower numbers are on your right, according to RateYourSeats. Lower sideline sections are short and close, while the 200 level is steep but compact enough to see both baskets from the corners.

How many rows are in each section at Rocket Arena?

RateYourSeats lists 14 rows in the lower sideline sections, 16 in the lower ends and corners, 16 in the club sections and 17 in most 200-level sections. Mezzanine sections run from 6 to 14 rows.

Where is the Cavaliers bench at Rocket Arena?

In front of section 106, on the 106-109 sideline, with the visiting bench toward 109. Sections 121 and 122 look straight across at it.

Where is accessible seating at Rocket Arena?

The arena sells accessible seats through an Accessible filter on each event page rather than listing sections. TickPick reports accessible rows at the top of most sections, and elevators serve every level.
