AT&T Stadium

Value: 400 sideline · Mezzanine 300s only ~17 rows · roof closes

A giant video board hangs over the field in Arlington, and it changes which seats are worth buying, from the 400-level sideline to the Party Pass decks.

Upcoming events at AT&T Stadium

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Seat decision first

For a first visit to AT&T Stadium, the smartest money goes to the upper-deck sideline, inside the two 20s: you see the whole field and the center-hung video board without craning. For a true broadcast angle, step up to the 200-level sideline clubs or the 300-level Mezzanine, whose short sections keep even the back row near the action. The 100-level sideline is the premium choice. Pass on front end-zone rows downstairs and the highest end-zone rows upstairs unless the discount is steep.

The Dallas Cowboys play here, in an Arlington building that seats 80,000 under a roof that opens and closes, about midway from Dallas to Fort Worth. Add the standing decks at each end and crowds can top 100,000. It debuted in May 2009 under the name Cowboys Stadium and became AT&T Stadium in 2013.

  • Cowboys: preseason in August, then eight or nine regular-season home games from September into January.
  • College football: the annual Cotton Bowl Classic (here since 2010) and the Big 12 title game.
  • Everything else: stadium tours, wrestling, soccer and one-off championships.

Four tiers, five suite rings and the decks

100 level

The lowest ring. Sections that start with C, such as C137, are club seats. According to the season-ticket site PSL Source, the home bench faces sections 109–112 on the south side, and the visiting bench faces 134–137 on the north.

200 level

Clubs along both sidelines, with regular seats in the corners and ends.

300 level (Mezzanine)

A shallow ring with about 17 rows per section. Because it is so short, the back row is closer to the field than you might expect.

400 level

Highest, largest and lowest-priced.

The stadium says roughly 15,000 seats are club seats, and its 300-plus suites are spread over five named levels (Field, Hall of Fame, Silver, Ring of Honor, Star). Facing the field, seat 1 is on the right end of each row and numbers climb leftward, a handy detail when two listings share a row.

Party Pass platforms

Raised standing areas at both ends, offered as unreserved entry for certain games. Expect to save money, stay on your feet all game and watch a lot of it on the screens.

How the video board changes the math

The screen measures 160 by 72 feet and hangs only about 90 feet above the turf; punters have actually struck it. It is the reason upper seats here work better than at most stadiums.

  • 100-level sideline: the board is high overhead and out of your way; you watch the field.
  • 400-level sideline: field and board are both in easy view, which is why this is the first-timer's value pick.
  • 400-level end zones, upper rows: as far from the 50 as the building allows, so you end up watching the screen more than the players.
  • 100-level end zones, low rows: great for the closest goal line, weak for everything past it.

The roof also removes most weather worries when it is closed, so sun and shade play a smaller role here than at open-air stadiums.

Concerts, wrestling and big events

When the stage is at one end, floor seats and lower-sideline seats close to it cost the most, while the far-end 400 level faces the stage head-on from a great distance. With a ring set up at midfield for wrestling or boxing, the 100- and 200-level sidelines are nearest, and the screens rescue the upper deck.

The building's résumé helps explain demand. Super Bowl XLV packed in 103,219 in 2011. The NCAA Final Four came in 2014, and the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship followed in January 2015 (Ohio State 42, Oregon 20). WrestleMania set crowds of 101,763 in 2016 and 131,372 across two nights in 2022. FIFA staged nine 2026 World Cup matches here, renaming the venue Dallas Stadium for the tournament.

Cowboys demand runs high all season, with division games and holiday dates at the top. Orders placed through Reserved Seat ship free and carry no digital transfer fees.

Arlington lots, tailgate rules and bags

Parking and tailgating

Arlington's entertainment district, home also to Globe Life Field and Texas Live, is built for cars, not trains. Fifteen numbered lots hold roughly 12,000 cars, and lettered lots by the Rangers' ballpark add almost as many again. Lots usually open five hours before a Cowboys kickoff, and buying a pass ahead is standard for big games.

  • Tailgating: permitted on the grass strips around Lots 4 through 7 and 10 through 15, using a patch roughly 9 by 12 feet behind your car. Bring charcoal or gas; leave the deep fryer, open fire pits and speakers at home.
  • Rideshare: as of 2026, cars use Lot 15, and cabs line up by the Miller Lite House at Collins Street and Cowboys Way.
  • RVs: oversized spots and a dump station are in Silver Lot 14.

Traffic on I-30 crawls around a full house, so most regulars arrive early, tailgate and leave late. Lot plans differ by event, so look up your date on AT&T Stadium's parking information.

Bags and gates

For 2026 the stadium runs a clear-bag rule: a single transparent tote (plastic, vinyl or PVC) within 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a gallon-size clear resealable bag, and in either case a clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Backpacks, fanny packs, coolers and big purses are refused. Read the stadium's bag rules before you go.

  • For Cowboys games, the plazas, clubs and concourses open two hours or more before kickoff.
  • Food, drinks, parking and merchandise are cashless.
  • You can leave and return only at certain events, and you are rescreened when you come back.
  • No smoking or vaping indoors; outdoor smoking spots are kept 50 feet or more from the doors.

Arches, art and the move from Irving

Before Arlington, the Cowboys played at Texas Stadium in Irving. HKS designed it, and the budget of about 650 million dollars grew to roughly 1.3 billion, covered by Arlington taxpayers, a loan from the league and owner Jerry Jones. Two arches nearly 300 feet tall carry the roof, and each end zone has huge glass doors that can swing open.

Pregame crowds collect at the Miller Lite House on the west plaza, which has 50-plus large TVs, live radio broadcasts and a replica field 80 yards long. Contemporary art from the Dallas Cowboys Art Collection hangs throughout the concourses, and guided tours, including art tours, run on non-event days.

The Big 12 title game was played here in 2009 and 2010 and has returned every year since 2017, and the Arkansas–Texas A&M Southwest Classic called the stadium home from 2009 through 2024.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best value seats at AT&T Stadium?

Sideline seats in the 400 level between the 20-yard lines. You see the full field and the video board clearly for much less than the lower levels.

Is the Mezzanine level at AT&T Stadium a good choice?

Yes. The 300-level Mezzanine has only about 17 rows per section, so sideline seats there give a broadcast-style view without the height of the upper deck.

What is the Party Pass at AT&T Stadium?

Standing-room access to raised platforms behind the end zones, sold for some games. It is a cheaper way in, but there is no seat and much of the game is watched on the screens.

Where do the Cowboys sit at AT&T Stadium?

On the south side, by sections 109–112, according to PSL Source; visitors are across the field near 134–137. Check the map on your listing to be sure.

Can I tailgate at AT&T Stadium?

Yes. The grass edges of Lots 4–7 and 10–15 are the tailgate zones, and grills are fine, but fryers and amplified music are not.

Can I bring a backpack to AT&T Stadium?

No. The 2026 rules limit you to a clear tote within 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a gallon-size clear bag, plus a small clutch. Confirm the venue's current policy before you go.
