How the Giant Center seating chart works

The Giant Center seating chart has a lower bowl of sections 101–126 that wraps the whole rink, a ring of 40 suites, and an upper level numbered 201–226 that skips 212–215 at one end. Center ice is section 107 on the club side and section 120 on the bench side; upstairs it is 207 and 220. For a Hershey Bears game, the lower center-ice sections are the best seats, the club seats in 106–108 add comfort, and the 200-level center sections are the value.

The arena has carried the Giant name since it opened, so there is no older chart to match up. The numbering on this page comes from the arena's official interactive seating map, and RateYourSeats' Hershey Bears chart shows the same sections in the same places.

  • Best for hockey: 105–108 and 119–122, a few rows up.
  • Premium: club seats in 106–108.
  • Where the Bears shoot twice: the 101 end, 123–126 and 101–104.
  • Value: 205–208 and 219–222.

Section ranges and the direction they run

100 level: 101–126

On the official map, sections 101 and 126 meet at the center of one end, the end the map marks as the one where the Bears shoot twice. From 101 the numbers run around the corner through 102–104, along the club-side sideline from 105 to 109 with 107 at center ice, around the next corner at 110–112 and across the far end at 113–114, which meet at that end's center. They continue around the corner at 115–117, along the bench-side sideline from 118 to 122 with 120 at center ice, and back around the corner at 123–125 to 126.

Suite level: suites 1–40

The suites ring the bowl between the two seating levels. On the map, suites 1–14 run along the club side, numbered from the far-end corner back toward the 101 end; 15–28 wrap the 101 end; and 29–40 run along the bench side below the press level.

200 level: 201–211 and 216–226

The upper level follows the same direction. Section 201 sits above the 101 end beside the main entrance, 202–204 turn the corner, 205–209 run along the club side with 207 at center ice and the Club Lounge behind them, and 210–211 turn toward the far end. There are no sections 212–215; the far end has no upper seating. The numbers resume with 216–217 at the other corner, 218–222 along the bench side with 220 at center ice below the press level, and 223–226 back around to the 101 end.

Benches, the penalty box and the two ends

The official map places the Bears bench and the visitors' bench on the 118–122 side, in front of 119–122, and the penalty box across the ice in front of section 107. That puts the club seats directly across from the benches, so club ticket holders watch line changes head-on.

The map labels the 101 end as the end where the Bears shoot twice, the first and third periods, and sorts the lower sections into center-ice, attack-zone and defend-zone price groups. Sections 101–104 and 123–126 make up the attack zone; sections 109–118, the far end and its corners, make up the defend zone.

On rows and seat numbers, neither the arena's map nor its seating and premium pages state the row count per section or which side of the row seat 1 is on, and two independent seating guides were not found that agree. Read the row and seat on your ticket against the event map when you buy, and ask the box office if an aisle seat matters.

Best seats for hockey, concerts and family shows

Hershey Bears hockey

  • Best overall: 105–108 and 119–122, several rows up, where the glass no longer bends the near boards.
  • Club comfort: 106–108, the 688 club seats the arena sells with Stella Premium Lounge access.
  • Near the players: low rows of 119–122, behind the benches; the bench area and glass break up the far side.
  • Goal-end energy: 101–104 and 123–126, where the Bears attack twice.
  • Upstairs value: 205–208 and 219–222, which the official map groups as the 200-level center-ice zone.

Concerts and family shows

Concert setups change with each tour, so check the event map for where the stage sits. For an end-stage show, the sideline sections nearest the stage give the closest raised views, and the sections at the far end face the stage straight on. If the stage is at the 113–114 end, there are no upper seats behind it, and 205–209 and 218–222 look across at it from the sides. For a center-stage show, 105–108 and 119–122 are the closest raised seats on both sides. Ice shows and family events use the hockey layout, so center-ice sections remain the safe choice.

Seats to think twice about

  • Low rows behind either goal: the net and its frame sit in the sightline.
  • Upper corners at an end-stage concert: 202–204, 210–211, 216–217 and 223–225 combine distance and angle.
  • The ends at a concert: whichever end the stage occupies is usually blocked or unsold.

The view from each level

  • Lower center ice: the full rink at once, close enough to hear the game.
  • Lower ends: an end-on view that shows plays developing toward you; the far end shrinks.
  • Club seats: center-ice height with wider padded seats, facing the benches.
  • 200-level sides: because the arena is compact, upstairs center seats are closer to the ice than the same seats in an NHL building, and the whole rink fits in view.
  • 200-level corners near the 101 end: farther away and at an angle, though cheaper.

Accessible seating at the Giant Center

The arena says accessibility accommodations are available and directs questions to its box office. Its official seating map highlights accessible seating at the top of these lower sections: 102, 103, 105, 107, 109, 110, 111, 116, 117, 120, 124 and 125. Upstairs, the map marks accessible positions along the back of the corners on the bench side, around 216–218 and 222–223.

The map shows elevators at the club seat holder entrance (floors 1–5) and the suite entrance (floors 2–4), and marks family restrooms on the concourse. Check the Giant Center seating map and the premium seating page before you buy, and call the box office if you need a specific accessible location.
