Picking a Linc seat: the quick version
For an Eagles game, aim for a sideline section between the 30-yard lines (101–104 or 137–138 on the Eagles side, 118–123 on the visitor side) in a row somewhere in the 20s. That height clears the players and staff crowding the sideline but keeps you close. If you want a higher, cleaner look at the whole field, the club ring above those sections is the best middle ground in the building.
The one map quirk to learn first: section 101 is not in a corner. It sits at the 50-yard line on the Eagles (west) sideline, and 138 is right next to it. The lowest and highest lower-level numbers share midfield.
- Best overall: lower sideline, rows in the 20s.
- Best middle height: front half of the club rows on either sideline.
- Best value: lower corners, or low rows of the 200-level sidelines.
- Best with kids: section 217, the alcohol-free family section.
Following the numbers around the field
From 101 at the Eagles' midfield, the lower-level numbers head toward the south end zone, cross it, run up the visitor sideline, swing around the north end zone and finish at 138, back beside 101. Two seating guides place the south end zone at 109–112 and the visitor midfield at 120–121, while the stadium's guide confirms 128–131 behind the north goal line. With north at the top of the map, that is a counterclockwise loop.
- West sideline (Eagles): 101–102 at midfield; 103–104 and 137–138 round out the prime block.
- South end zone: 109–112.
- East sideline (visitors): 120–121 at midfield, with 118–119 and 122–123 on either side.
- North end zone: 128–131, closest to the Pepsi Plaza.
The upper deck, 201–244, follows the same loop. Two guides list the strongest upper sideline views at 201–204 (Eagles side) and 223–226 (visitor side).
Lower bowl: rows, corners and Red Zone seats
Why row 1 is not the prize
Two seating guides agree that the front rows are overrated here. From roughly rows 1–10, you are watching the near sideline through a wall of players, coaches and staff. Rows in the 20s lift you above them while the Linc's compact bowl still keeps you close. At the other extreme, the last rows of many lower sections sit under the club-level overhang: you stay dry, but the overhang chops off the top of high punts and kickoffs.
Corners for value
Three of the four corners are open to the skyline. The lower corner sections, roughly 105–108, 113–117, 124–127 and 132–136, give a diagonal view of the entire field for less demand than the sidelines.
Red Zone seats
Red Zone seats are the first two rows of 128–131, behind the north goal line, per the stadium; seating guides show the same product at the south end in 109–112. You sit at field level behind the goal line. It is a premium experience built around being close at one end, not a seat for following all four quarters.
Club ring and upper deck
Club seats (C and M sections)
Club seating forms a middle ring between the decks. Two seating guides label it C1–C6, C15–C27 and C35–C40 plus a run labeled M7–M14, plus terrace seating in two corners, northeast and southwest. C20 sits at midfield on the east side, for orientation. The stadium lists 8,740 club seats; club tickets include indoor lounge access, which opens about two hours before Eagles games.
Club rows are high enough to see formations and low enough to recognize players without the video boards. RateYourSeats recommends the forward half of club rows for football; its notes say the last one or two rows are tucked under the deck above.
The club ring is a separate product from the field-level hospitality on the west side. Section 101 comes with Firstrust Bank Club access, and the west stands also hold the President's Club suites; together they carry the heaviest demand of any seats here.
Upper deck (201–244)
The stadium's wing-shaped canopies extend over both long stands, and according to seating guides the top portion of each upper sideline falls in their shadow. That makes the back of the upper sidelines one of the few truly covered spots in the building, at the cost of the longest sideline view. In general, a low row on an upper sideline beats the back of a lower corner for following the play, and it usually costs less.
Sideline choice, sun and the family section
The Eagles bench sits on the west sideline, in front of 101–104 and 137–138. Visitors use the east sideline in front of 118–123. The stadium does not designate a visiting-fan section, so away fans tend to cluster on the east side.
For Eagles fans, the east side is often the shrewder buy: you face the home bench and the home crowd, the midfield geometry is identical, and demand usually runs lighter than on the west, where the premium clubs are. For Temple Owls football, the home team uses the east sideline instead.
- Afternoon sun: the east stands face west and take the afternoon sun in early-season games; the west stands face away from it.
- Summer concerts: east-side seats look toward the setting sun until it drops behind the rim.
- Family section: the stadium sets aside section 217 as an alcohol-free area at Eagles games. At a stadium where the crowd can get loud and well lubricated, that matters if children are with you.
- Standing-room spaces: two drink-and-mingle areas, the Bud Light Eagles Nest and the Miller Lite Phlite Deck (by section 107), appear in seating guides. Fine for pregame, poor for watching four quarters.
Concerts, soccer and Army–Navy
End-stage concerts
Stadium shows put the stage at one end and cover the field with temporary sections or standing room. Floor labels change by tour: seating guides show layouts from Field 1–11 to Floor 1–17, so read the current event's map and ignore old ones. Behind the stage, the end-zone seats are typically either tarped off or sold with a limited-view warning.
- Closest good view: center floor, straight back from the stage, or the lower sidelines on the stage half.
- Best value: front club rows or front 200-level rows on the sidelines, which take in the whole production.
- Risky: sideline seats even with the stage, whose sightline gets clipped by speaker towers and scenery, and the upper end farthest from it.
Soccer and Army–Navy
For soccer, choose the same center-line seats as football: 101–102, 120–121 and the club rows above them. Army–Navy is different: West Point cadets and Naval Academy midshipmen march in together and occupy big blocks of the stadium, so check which sections are actually sold to the public before you compare seats. Every Reserved Seat order carries a 100% guarantee.
Wheelchair access and assistive services
Beyond accessible seating, the stadium's guide lists accessible parking, drop-off points, restrooms and concession stands, plus devices for assistive listening and mobile captioning on request.
- ADA gate: use the North Gate, or the Tork or Hyundai premium entrances, which give guests with disabilities faster entry.
- Elevators: three locations, at the Pepsi Lobby and at both the East and the Hyundai club-and-suite entrances.
- Escalators: located behind sections 125, 128 and 135 below and 227, 235 and 241 above.
Seating guides show that some lower sections, such as 122, put wheelchair spaces on a raised platform above the final row of fixed seats, which keeps fans who stand in front from blocking your view. Exact positions vary by event; confirm with fan services before buying, and check the stadium's A to Z guide for current policies.
Frequently asked questions
Why are sections 101 and 138 next to each other at Lincoln Financial Field?
