The SoFi seat decision, simplified
If you want the most game for the money at SoFi Stadium, buy the first few rows of a 300-level sideline section. If budget is no object, the midfield sections labeled VIP, at field level or on the 200-level club ring, are the top seats outside the suites. Corners and end zones at any level trade view for price.
Three clues on a SoFi ticket tell you most of what you need:
- The first digit is the level. 100s sit at field level, 200s form the club ring, and 300s, 400s and 500s are the upper tiers.
- A VIP prefix means midfield club seating. Two seating guides agree on VIP 110–113 and 130–133 at field level and VIP 218–220 and 245–247 on the club ring.
- A C prefix means club seating beside the VIP blocks, as in C106 or C215. Club access comes with the ticket, and so does a higher price than a standard seat at the same height.
Guides do not agree on how every number wraps the bowl, and some older guides use entirely different ranges. Go by the prefix and the map attached to your listing.
Field level: sitting below the street
SoFi's field sits about 100 feet below street level, so for many sections you enter at the top and walk down to your row. The 100 level splits into three bands:
- VIP midfield (110–113 and 130–133): the straightest view of the field and lounge access, at the highest prices in the bowl.
- Club sidelines (C prefix): identical height and club access for less, with the angle growing sharper as you move toward the goal lines.
- Standard ends and corners (100–105 and 119–124): close to scoring plays at your end, but from a low row the far half of the field flattens into a thin strip.
The lowest sideline rows put you at eye level with players, coaches and staff, which also means they stand between you and much of the play. Middle rows clear the bench area and still feel close. Keep in mind that a low row here is the longest climb back to the concourse at halftime and after the game.
The 200-level club ring: the broadcast angle
The club ring is where SoFi looks most like it does on television. You sit high enough to see all 22 players and every formation, and low enough to feel attached to the field. Two seating guides describe the same structure:
- VIP 218–220 and VIP 245–247: midfield on each sideline.
- Club sections 215–217, 221–223, 242–244 and 248–250: the C-prefixed blocks on either side of the VIP sections.
- Standard 200s: the corners and end zones, roughly 200–214 and 224–241.
What the club price buys is indoor lounge space, shorter lines and air conditioning, which earns its keep on a hot early-season afternoon. If you want the height without the club premium, a standard 200-level corner is the workaround; you give up the straight-on angle for a diagonal one.
300, 400 and 500 levels: where value lives
Most of the stadium's lower-cost seats are in the upper tiers. Two guides place the 300 level from 300 into the 350s and the 400 level into the 450s; the 500 level is a smaller ring at the very top.
300 level
The low rows along the sidelines are the best value at SoFi. The angle shows coverage and spacing clearly, and the Infinity Screen, the two-sided video board suspended over the field, hangs near eye level.
400 level
A full look at the field from well above it. Fan reviews mention that upper sections can feel warm on hot days, and concert effects designed for the floor lose some impact at this height.
500 level
The highest seats and the longest walk. The sunken bowl makes these tiers feel nearer the field than their numbers imply, but the top rows remain a long way from the action.
The canopy covers every level, so rain is not a concern. Late in the day, low sun can angle in under the canopy edge through the open sides and reach some rows.
Seats for football and soccer
At a Rams or Chargers game, the premium follows the sidelines between the goal lines on every level, peaking at the VIP blocks. Seating guides generally put the home bench on the west sideline for both teams. That is not shown on any map the stadium publishes, so verify the bench side on your listing before paying extra to sit behind it.
Soccer rewards the same choice: a midfield seat on either long side shows how the teams hold their shape. For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the stadium removed several field-level seats to make room for a grass surface. Low rows can change for special events, so make sure a field-level seat is valid for the event you are buying.
In the long upper rows, an aisle seat is worth asking for. The walk out of the sunken bowl is mostly uphill, and an aisle spares you climbing past a full row. Reserved Seat orders carry a 100% guarantee.
Concert nights: floor letters and side angles
Stadium tours at SoFi typically build an end stage at one end of the field and fill the field with floor sections, which listings label with letters, such as Floor A or Floor C. Each tour sets its own layout.
- Floor: closest to the stage but completely flat. After the first rows, you watch over heads and on the screens.
- Side sections angled toward the stage, at field level or on the 200 ring: the strongest mix of sightline and sound.
- The opposite end zone: a straight-on view of the whole production, from a distance.
- Beside and behind the stage: often closed or sold as limited view, since speaker towers and set pieces block parts of the show. Skip these unless the price reflects it.
Only a stage overlay for your specific date shows which sections are open and how close they sit.
Accessible seats, elevators and the ramp
Per the stadium, accessible seats with enhanced sight lines are offered on every level and at all price points, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each wheelchair space has a companion seat immediately next to it, and additional companions are seated nearby.
- Elevators: four service elevators, at the northwest, northeast, southeast and southwest corners, give priority to guests with disabilities. At busy times, a guest may be limited to one companion in the elevator.
- Ramp: a pedestrian ramp on the southeast side reaches every level except Level 7.
- Moving seats: accessible relocations are handled on site at Guest Services Centers only, for one accessible ticket and one companion, and cannot be booked ahead.
- Hearing: assistive listening devices are free at Guest Services Centers with an ID left as a deposit.
Low field-level rows involve the most stairs. Read the current details on the stadium's accessibility page.
Frequently asked questions
Is a VIP section at SoFi Stadium worth the extra cost?
VIP sections sit at midfield, at field level or on the 200-level club ring, and include club access. If you mainly want a clear view, low 300-level sideline rows deliver most of it for much less.
What does the C before a SoFi Stadium section number mean?
It marks a club section on the sidelines next to the VIP blocks, such as C106 or C215. The ticket includes club access and usually costs more than a standard seat at the same height.
Do seats at SoFi Stadium get rain or sun?
A canopy covers every level, so rain is not an issue and most seats avoid direct sun. Late in the day, low sun can reach some rows through the stadium's open sides.
Which side is the home bench at SoFi Stadium?
Seating guides generally place the home bench on the west sideline for both the Rams and Chargers, but the stadium does not publish this, so confirm it on your listing.
Where should I sit at SoFi Stadium for a concert?
Field-level or 200-level side sections angled toward the stage give the best balance of view and sound. Sections beside or behind the stage are often closed or limited view.
Can I move to an accessible seat at SoFi Stadium on game day?
Yes, but only on site. The stadium handles accessible relocations at Guest Services Centers for one accessible ticket and one companion, and does not arrange them in advance.
