Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Three Good Answers for Three Budgets

At SoFi Stadium, the best football seats are on the sideline between the 20-yard lines, roughly 15 rows or more up in the 100 level, high enough to see over the benches. The smartest value is the first several rows of the 300s on either sideline, steep enough to see plays unfold, and the giant video board hangs right at eye level. The 200-level club seats sit between the two in height and add indoor lounges.

The stadium seats 70,240 and can expand beyond 100,000 for special events. Its canopy roof shades every seat and keeps out rain, but the sides stay open to the breeze, so think of it as covered rather than indoor.

How a Sunken Bowl Changes the Map

The field lies 100 feet below street level, a result of FAA height limits for buildings under the LAX flight path; the airport is about three miles away. So your trip to your seat usually starts at ground level and goes down. If you sit low, plan on stairs both ways.

The first digit of a section number tells you the tier:

  • 100s: field level, ringing the playing surface.
  • 200s: the club tier, with entry to indoor clubs, among them the United Club and Delta Sky360 Club.
  • 300s, 400s and 500s: the upper tiers rising toward the canopy, where most of the lower-priced seats are.

Above the field hangs the Infinity Screen, a Samsung video board shaped as a two-sided oval and covering about 70,000 square feet. Its inner and outer faces mean you are looking at video from just about any seat. Both NFL tenants are generally listed by seat guides as using the west bench, but confirm the sideline on your game's seat map before paying a premium for it.

The canopy itself is ETFE, a light, clear plastic film stretched across a steel frame. It filters daylight, but a setting sun can angle in beneath its rim and light up certain rows, so pack sunglasses for an afternoon kickoff.

Choosing Seats for NFL Sundays and Stadium Tours

Rams and Chargers games

SoFi is shared by the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers, which doubles the number of NFL home dates. More games means demand is spread thinner: when the opponent is not a rival, expect plenty of visiting fans and more listings to choose from than for a sellout concert.

  • Prime view: 100-level sideline between the 20s, row 15 and up.
  • Best value: the front of the 300s on either sideline.
  • Comfort: 200-level club seats, which bundle lounge access and quieter concourses, a bigger perk on a warm afternoon than a cool night.

Thanks to the sunken design, even lower seats have more rake (the upward slope of the seating) than the shallow lower bowls of older stadiums. Club seats in the 200s mimic the TV camera, so every player stays in frame. From the 300s through the 500s, you take in the whole building, with the Infinity Screen roughly level with your eyes.

Concerts

Most tours build an end stage. For balanced sound and sightline, try field-level side sections that face the stage at an angle, or low club seats opposite it. Floor seats are closest but flat, so past the first rows you watch over heads and on screens. Look for a stage-specific seat map for your show.

When demand peaks

Interest spikes for division matchups, December games that shape the playoff picture and night games on national TV. For multi-night concert runs, the first and last nights usually sell higher than the middle ones.

Seats to Pass Over

  • The first few 100-level rows for football. They look close on the map but put you at eye level with players and staff standing along the sideline.
  • End-zone seats near the field. Everything past midfield looks compressed.
  • The highest 500-level rows. Many stairs, little detail.
  • Seats tucked beside a concert stage. Sound equipment and staging often hide some of the performance.

Transit, Parking and Rideshare in Inglewood

Rail does not reach the stadium directly, so your options are a train-and-shuttle combination, a parking pass or a rideshare. Build in a cushion whichever you choose; Inglewood roads clog early, and worse still if Intuit Dome or the Kia Forum next door is also busy.

  • Rail plus shuttle: the stadium points riders to LAX/Metro Transit Center, on the C and K Lines, where game-day shuttles leave from Bus Bay 8. Metro has added Hawthorne/Lennox shuttles on the C Line for some past major events.
  • Express buses: round trips have been offered by Torrance Transit, Culver CityBus (Line 99) and GTrans (Line 7X).
  • Driving: the Hollywood Park lots are divided into color-coded zones, and passes are digital, so load yours onto your phone before leaving home. Inglewood also operates Park and Go satellite lots with shuttles to the stadium-side transit center.
  • Rideshare: cars drop fans on Kareem Court's northbound curb and collect them farther along Kareem Court by Manchester Boulevard. Postgame, prepare for high fares and a line.

Tailgating is tightly restricted. For the 2025 season, only the Pink zone allowed it, and only at certain events: propane or natural gas grills, no charcoal or glass, and everything wrapped by kickoff. Lot maps are posted on the parking and transportation page.

Bags, Payments and Gate Rules (2026)

For 2026, all SoFi events require transparent bags (plastic, vinyl or PVC) that measure 12 x 6 x 12 inches or less. A clutch roughly 4.5 x 6.5 inches is also allowed, and it can be opaque. A paid bag check sits at several corners of the campus for bags that do not comply, but it costs time, so leave the backpack behind. Rules change, so check the stadium policies page before you go.

  • Payments: cards and mobile pay only, with kiosks inside that turn cash into prepaid cards.
  • Re-entry: none once your ticket is scanned, emergencies aside.
  • Late arrivals: once the first quarter of an NFL game ends, certain gates shut and you may need to circle to another.

Every level has its own concessions, and the clubs have private bars. Because the sides are open, the temperature inside tracks the weather outside, so dress for the evening.

From Racetrack to Super Bowl Host

Stan Kroenke, who owns the Rams, developed the project with HKS as architect on 298 acres where the Hollywood Park track once stood. Building took four years, from 2016 until the September 2020 opening, at an estimated cost of roughly 5.5 billion dollars, which places it near the top of the list of most expensive stadiums. SoFi, a fintech company, holds a 20-year naming deal.

  • Super Bowl LVI (2022): on February 13, the Rams beat Cincinnati 23–20 for a home-field title.
  • College Football Playoff title game (2023): Georgia 65, TCU 7.
  • WrestleMania 39 (2023): a two-night total of 161,892.
  • World Cup (2026): FIFA's no-sponsor rule made it Los Angeles Stadium for eight matches, the US team's June 12 opener among them.

Super Bowl LXI is set for February 14, 2027, and the opening ceremony of the 2028 Summer Olympics will be shared between SoFi and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Those dates will carry the heaviest demand the building sees. For more around the region, see the Los Angeles city guide, including Crypto.com Arena downtown.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best value seats at SoFi Stadium?

The first several rows of the 300s on either sideline. You sit high enough to follow each play, and the Infinity Screen is about level with your eyes.

Is SoFi Stadium indoors?

Not fully. The clear ETFE canopy keeps sun and rain off the seats and field, yet the stadium's sides stay open to outside air.

Why is the SoFi Stadium field below ground?

FAA height limits near LAX, about three miles away, required the field to sit 100 feet below street level, so many fans walk down to their seats.

How do I take Metro to SoFi Stadium?

Take the C or K Line to LAX/Metro Transit Center, then the game-day shuttle from Bus Bay 8. Service can vary by event, so check the stadium's transportation page.

Can I bring a backpack to SoFi Stadium?

No. For 2026, you may bring a transparent bag of 12 x 6 x 12 inches or less, plus a clutch around 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Confirm the rules before you go.

When is the next Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium?

Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for February 14, 2027. The stadium hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022, when the Rams won.
