Reading the Amerant Bank Arena seating chart
The Amerant Bank Arena seating chart has four rings, as the arena's own maps label them: the Plaza (sections 101–134, the lower bowl), a ring of suites numbered 01–50, the Club (Club 01–35) and the Mezzanine (sections 301–334, the upper level). Center ice is section 101 on the bench side and section 118 on the penalty-box side, with Mezzanine 301 and 318 directly above them. For a Florida Panthers game, the best seats are Plaza 101–102, 134 and 117–119 from about row 10 up; the best value is the first rows of Mezzanine 301 and 317–319.
If you are holding an older chart, it still works. The arena was the BB&T Center from 2012 and FLA Live Arena from 2021 before taking the Amerant Bank name in 2023, and earlier carried the National Car Rental Center, Office Depot Center and BankAtlantic Center names. Section numbers did not change with the names, so a BB&T Center or FLA Live Arena seat map describes the same seats.
- Closest: the first Plaza rows at the glass.
- Best balance: Plaza 101, 118 and their neighbors, rows 10–24.
- Premium at center ice: the all-inclusive rows of 101, 102 and 134.
- Best value: Mezzanine 301 and 318, the first rows.
Plaza, suites, Club and Mezzanine: the layout
The layout below comes from the arena's published Panthers and concert seating maps. RateYourSeats' section directory lists the same Plaza, Club and Mezzanine numbers.
Plaza (lower): 101–134
Section 101 sits at center ice in front of the benches. Moving toward the Panthers bench, the numbers run 102 and 103 along that sideline, 104–108 into the corner and end, 109 at the middle of the end where the visitors shoot twice, 111–115 through the next corner, 116–120 along the far sideline with 118 at center ice, 121–125 into the far corner, 127 at the middle of the end where Florida shoots twice, 128–133 back around and 134 beside 101. There are no sections numbered 106, 110, 113 or 126 on the arena's maps; RateYourSeats lists none either. On the maps, with the bench side at the bottom, the numbers climb clockwise.
Suites: 01–50
A ring of numbered suites sits at the back of the Plaza. On the arena's map, suite 01 starts near Plaza 132 and the numbers run along the bench side and around the building to 50 near Plaza 121.
Club: Club 01–35
The Club ring follows the Plaza order. Club 01 sits above 101, Club 09 and 10 face the visitors' end, Club 26 and 27 face the Panthers' end, and Club 35 closes the loop beside Club 01. The spot where Club 18 would fall, at center ice above 118, is the camera platform, so there is no Club 18. Club suites lettered A and B, such as 16A and 16B, sit behind the sideline clubs.
Mezzanine (upper): 301–334
The top ring mirrors the Plaza: 301 at center ice on the bench side, 309 and 310 at the middle of the visitors' end, 318 at center ice opposite, 326 and 327 at the middle of the Panthers' end, and 334 beside 301.
A note on 200-level numbers. Some seating guides, TickPick among them, refer to center-ice sections 206–210 and 240–244. The arena's current maps show no 200-numbered seating sections, so treat those references with caution and match your listing to the arena's map.
Row numbers and where seat 1 sits
Plaza rows. Rows are numbered, not lettered, starting at row 1 by the glass. RateYourSeats lists most Plaza sections as rows 1–28 with the entry tunnel at row 18, so rows 1–17 sit below the walkway and 19–28 above it. The end sections behind the Panthers' net, such as 125 and 129, stop at row 26 with the tunnel at row 16. In 102 and 134, behind the benches, RateYourSeats shows open space between row 17 and row 24, so those sections have no rows 18–23. For hockey, RateYourSeats says the first row in 118, behind the penalty boxes, is usually row 3.
Mezzanine rows. RateYourSeats lists most Mezzanine sections as rows 1–16, entered at row 3. Many of them, including 302, 309, 313, 321, 326 and 330, have a wheelchair row (3W) between rows 2 and 5, so there is no row 3 or 4 in those sections. Some are much shallower: 318 and 321 run only to row 9, and 330 to row 11.
Club rows. Sideline clubs such as Club 01, 05 and 16 hold three rows; end clubs run deeper, with Club 25 at eight rows, per RateYourSeats.
Seat numbering. RateYourSeats says seat 1 is on your right as you face the ice or stage, next to the lower-numbered neighbor. Its example is section 132, row 10, where seat 1 is on the right aisle toward 131. TickPick does not address seat order, so treat this as one guide's reading and confirm on your ticket listing.
Best seats for Panthers hockey
The arena's Panthers map and TickPick agree on the key positions: the Panthers bench in front of 102, the visitors' bench in front of 134, the penalty boxes in front of 118, and Florida shooting twice (in the first and third periods) at the net in front of 125–128, which the map labels "Panthers shoot 2X." The visitors shoot twice toward 108–109.
- Pick: 117–119 or 101, 102 and 134, from row 10 up. TickPick warns that the glass can obstruct lower rows; RateYourSeats suggests rows 16–24 in 116–120.
- All-inclusive center ice: TickPick places the Lexus Club in 101–102 and 134. RateYourSeats ties the same rows to the Amerant Vault on Panthers nights, so check the listing for what access is included.
- Behind the Panthers' attack: Plaza 121–132 and the Mezzanine above. TickPick puts Lord Stanley's Loft, an all-inclusive area, in 328–330.
- Club party end: TickPick puts the Corona Beach House in Club 06–13, behind the net Florida defends twice; RateYourSeats also tags Club 05.
- Value: Mezzanine 301–302, 317–319 and 334, front rows.
- Think twice: the shallow Mezzanine corners and ends at the back rows, and rows 1–9 behind the benches if you want to follow the whole rink.
Concert and basketball setups
The arena's concert map puts the stage at the 125–128 end, the same end Florida attacks twice in hockey. The floor is laid out as reserved sections 1 and 2 against the stage, 3–5 behind them, 6–8 behind those and 9–10 at the back, with rows lettered from A nearest the stage. The map labels the lower bowl Plaza and the upper bowl Mezzanine for concerts as well.
- Closest: floor 1 and 2.
- Raised side view: Plaza 116–120 and 101–104 and 132–134, which run along the sides of the floor.
- Head-on: Plaza 108, 109 and 111 and Mezzanine 309 face the stage across the floor; RateYourSeats marks them as head-on seats.
- Limited view: RateYourSeats flags 125, 127 and 129, Club 25 and Mezzanine 321, 326 and 330 as behind or beside the stage for most shows.
The arena also publishes a general-admission floor version of the end-stage map and a basketball map for college events; the bowl numbering is the same in each. Check the map for your event, since bench and press-table positions for basketball are not shown on the hockey or concert maps.
Amerant Bank Arena seat views by level
- Plaza, rows 1–9: close to the glass or court, with the far end harder to read for hockey.
- Plaza, rows 10–24: the broadcast-style angle over the glass from 101 and 118.
- Plaza, rows 25–28: at the back of the lower bowl, under the suite ring but still a full view.
- Club: a short shelf of three to eight rows just above the suites, with padded seats.
- Mezzanine, rows 1–5: the best upstairs view, below the wheelchair row and the walkway.
- Mezzanine, rows 10–16: high and far in the ends and corners; some sections, such as 318 and 321, are shallower, so their top rows are closer.
Accessible seating locations
The arena's published Panthers and concert maps mark accessible positions on every level:
- Plaza: positions in 102 and 134 behind the benches, and in sections around the bowl including 104, 109, 112, 117, 119, 121, 124, 127, 129 and 132.
- Club: Club 01, 22, 27 and 32.
- Mezzanine: the 3W rows in many sections, including 302, 309, 313, 317, 319, 321, 326, 330 and 334, per the map and RateYourSeats.
Concert layouts also mark accessible spots on the floor. Check the arena's seating charts page and its ADA information page for your event, since stage placement closes some of these positions.
