Reading the Kaseya Center seating chart
The Kaseya Center seating chart has three seating levels around the floor. The 100 level is a full ring of sections 101–124. The 300 level, above the suites, is a full ring of sections 301–332. The 400 level is not a ring at all: per the arena's concourse map, it is two balconies at the ends of the court, sections 401–410 at one end and 411–420 at the other. Center court is between 106 and 107 on one sideline and between 118 and 119 on the other; upstairs, the center pairs are 308–309 and 324–325.
For a Heat game, the best seats are 106–107 and 118–119. The best upstairs value is the first rows of 308–309 and 324–325.
If your ticket or map says American Airlines Arena, FTX Arena or Miami-Dade Arena, it describes the same seats. The building changed names, not section numbers, so an older chart and older seat-view photos still apply.
Section ranges and the direction numbers run
The layout below comes from the arena's own concourse map. RateYourSeats' section directory and TickPick's Heat seating guide list the same section numbers and the same center-court pairs.
100 level: sections 101–124
Section 101 sits behind one basket, beside 124; together they form the middle of that end. Numbers climb clockwise as the arena draws the bowl: 102 and 103 in the corner, 104–109 along the first sideline with the center line between 106 and 107, 110–115 around the far end with 112 and 113 directly behind that basket, 116–121 along the second sideline with center between 118 and 119, and 122–124 back to the start. The arena marks a Courtside Club check-in near section 114.
300 level: sections 301–332
The upper ring runs in the same direction. Section 301 sits at the middle of the end above 101 and 124, then 302–305 wrap the corner, 306–311 run along the sideline above 104–109, 312–320 cover the far end, 321–327 run along the second sideline and 328–332 close the ring. The center sections are 308–309 on one side and 324–325 on the other.
400 level: two end balconies
The arena's map draws 401–410 behind the 101/124 end, running from the 121–122 corner to the 103–104 corner, and 411–420 behind the 112/113 end, running from the 109–110 corner to the 115–116 corner. The arena's accessibility page calls these the 400 East and 400 West Balconies. There are no 400-level seats along the sidelines, so every 400 seat looks down the length of the court.
Row numbers and where seat 1 sits
Seat numbering. Two guides agree. TickPick says seat 1 is always the seat nearest the neighboring lower-numbered section, so seat 1 in 118 follows the last seat in 117. RateYourSeats says lower seat numbers are on your right as you face the court. In center sections 106 and 118, that puts the highest seat numbers closest to midcourt; in 107 and 119, the lowest numbers are closest, which is how TickPick puts it.
Rows are numbers, not letters. Kaseya Center rows run from row 1 at the front. RateYourSeats lists sideline section 106 as rows 1–23, then a wheelchair row, then rows 27–29, with the entrance at row 25. That means the lower sideline sections are entered from the top and you walk down to most seats. Baseline section 113 runs much deeper, to row 32, with the entry at row 30. For concerts with a floor, RateYourSeats says the first row sold in 113 is usually row 9.
Upper levels. RateYourSeats lists 300-level sideline sections 308 and 324 at rows 1–23 and 400-level section 405 at rows 1–17, all with the entrance at row 4. Rows 1–3 sit below the walkway; row 5 and up sit above it.
Row counts come from one guide rather than the arena, so treat them as approximate.
Best seats for Heat games
TickPick places the Heat bench in front of sections 107–108 and the visitors' bench in front of 105–106, on the 104–109 sideline. Sitting in 118–119, across the floor, gives a straight look at both benches and the whole court.
- Front rows at center: TickPick says the first ten rows between 106–107 and 118–119 are the Flagship premium seats, and the first ten rows of the rest of the lower bowl are club seats. RateYourSeats describes the same front rows as premium lounge seats and names different sponsors for the lounges (it lists one lounge for 101, 106–107, 118–119 and 124 and a speakeasy-style lounge with in-seat service for 112–113). Sponsor names change, so check the current listing for what a ticket includes.
- Behind the premium rows: from about row 11 up in 105–108 and 117–120, the sideline angle stays excellent without the lounge cost.
- Upstairs value: rows 1–8 of 308–309 and 324–325. RateYourSeats calls these sections steep and recommends the rows nearest row 4, the entry.
- 400 balconies: the cheapest seats, all on the ends. RateYourSeats recommends the first three rows, which see noticeably more than row 12 and up.
- Think twice: low baseline rows such as the front of 101, 112, 113 and 124, where a guide notes the basket support can block part of the floor; one reviewer adds that row 1 of 106 sits behind courtside seats with foot traffic in front.
Concert, center-stage and theater layouts
For most end-stage concerts, RateYourSeats describes section 113 as a head-on view and 405 as beside or behind the stage, which places the stage at the 101/124 end and the main view from the 112/113 end. Wikipedia lists end-stage capacity at about 12,200, 270-degree setups at about 15,400 and 360-degree shows at about 18,300, so the more sections behind the stage are sold, the more of the 101/124 end and the 401–410 balcony is in play.
- Floor: RateYourSeats describes seven reserved floor sections, with section 1 against the stage at about five rows deep and up to 48 seats wide, sections 2–4 in the middle and 5–7 at the back. Section 3 is the center, head-on block. Some shows sell a standing GA floor instead.
- Close side views: RateYourSeats lists 105–108 and 117–120 downstairs, and 308–309 upstairs, as the concert side sections.
- Full-production view: 112–113, which RateYourSeats calls head-on, and the middle of the 312–320 end upstairs face the stage from the far end.
- Avoid for end stage: 101–103 and 122–124, 301–305 and 328–332, and the 401–410 balcony, which sit beside or behind the stage unless the show is in the round.
For center-stage boxing, UFC and in-the-round shows, the sideline sections at center (106–107, 118–119, 308–309 and 324–325) are the safest picks. The arena also curtains the bowl for a smaller theater setup, so check the event's own map.
Views from each level
- Courtside and floor: closest, but flat, and other courtside fans and staff pass in front.
- 100 level, rows 1–10: premium rows, low and close; the far basket looks compressed from the very front.
- 100 level, rows 11–23: the broadcast angle, raised enough to clear the courtside crowd.
- 300 level, rows 1–3: below the entry walkway, with nothing between you and the rail. A steep, full view of the court.
- 300 level, rows 15–23: high and far; good for watching plays develop, less so for faces.
- 400 balconies: end-on views from above the baseline. Fine for seeing the whole floor, poor for depth along the court.
Accessible seating at Kaseya Center
The arena sells accessible seating with companion seats that may be bought alongside each accessible seat, and asks guests with questions to call the arena. TickPick says the accessible rows are at the top of most sections, and RateYourSeats places the wheelchair row in section 106 between rows 23 and 27, at the level of the entrance, so most positions need no stairs.
- Accessible entrance: Gate 3, on NE 8th Street, is the primary ADA entrance.
- Assistive listening devices: free at Guest Experience at sections 103 and 322.
- Guest Experience booths: sections 103, 306 and 322 and the 400 East and West Balconies.
Details are on the arena's accessibility page, and the concourse map shows all three levels.
Frequently asked questions
How are seats numbered at Kaseya Center?
Seat 1 is on your right as you face the court, next to the neighboring lower-numbered section, so seat 1 in 118 sits beside section 117. Rows are numbered from row 1 at the front.
What is the view from the Kaseya Center 300 level?
Steep and complete. Rows 1–8 of 308–309 and 324–325 give a center-court view near the entry walkway; rows in the high teens and up are far but still see the whole floor.
Is the Kaseya Center seating chart the same as American Airlines Arena?
Yes. The arena was American Airlines Arena, then FTX Arena and briefly Miami-Dade Arena before taking the Kaseya name in 2023, and the section numbers did not change.
How many rows are in a Kaseya Center section?
RateYourSeats lists lower sideline sections at about 29 rows, baseline sections deeper to about row 32, 300-level sections at 23 rows and 400-level sections at 17 rows.
Are there 400-level seats along the sideline at Kaseya Center?
No. The arena's map shows the 400 level as two end balconies, 401–410 and 411–420, so every 400 seat faces down the court from behind a basket.
Where are the club seats at Kaseya Center?
Seating guides place the premium and club seats in the first ten or so rows of the 100 level, with the top tier between 106–107 and 118–119. Guides name different lounge sponsors, so check what your ticket includes.
