Upcoming Florida Panthers dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
The Panthers seat to target
For a Florida Panthers game, target the lower-level center-ice sections, 101–102 and 134 on the bench side or 117–119 across the ice, from row 10 up. Those rows clear the glass, which matters most just behind the benches, and show both nets equally.
- Panthers goals in front of you: seats near sections 125 and 127.
- Sightlines plus amenities: the Lexus Club at center ice.
- A full view for less: 300-level center sections around 301–302, 317–319 and 334.
- The seats to pass on: upper corners and upper ends.
Amerant Bank Arena seats 19,250 for hockey, and home games run from early October to mid-April.
Lower 100s, the clubs and the 300s
Lower level (101–134)
The seats around the glass. Section 101 and its neighbors form center ice on the bench side. According to a widely used seating guide, the Panthers bench is in front of 102, the visitors' bench in front of 134 and the penalty box in front of 118.
Club seating
The Lexus Club, at center ice, is the premium pick if you want the view and the amenities together. The Corona Beach House, in sections C6–C13, sells an atmosphere and food access; compare it with a regular lower-level sideline seat first.
Upper level (300s)
The top bowl. Its center sections, about 301–302, 317–319 and 334, show plays developing across the full sheet. Lord Stanley's Loft sits in 328–330. The upper corners and ends are the farthest seats in the building.
Behind the bench, behind the net, or up high
- Behind the Panthers bench (102): close to the players, but low rows look through the bench area and glass. Go to row 10 or higher.
- The 125–127 end: Florida attacks this net in the first and third periods, per one seating guide. Seats here usually cost less than center ice. From low rows, the far net is hard to judge.
- Across from the penalty box (118): a center-ice view with the box in front of you, useful for watching special teams unfold.
- 300-level center: the steady value pick. Front rows beat back rows.
Confirm the attack end on the listing map before paying extra for it.
Lightning nights and snowbird season
Preseason falls in late September. The 82-game regular season, 41 at home, runs from early October to mid-April, with the playoffs from mid-April into June.
- Tampa Bay: the cross-state rivalry brings some of the loudest regular-season crowds.
- Northeast and Original Six visitors: Boston, the Rangers, Toronto and Montreal tend to bring road fans, many of them winter residents, especially from January through March.
- Edmonton: the Oilers' visit carries extra weight after the 2024 and 2025 Finals.
- Saturdays and late December: the first dates to tighten.
For the most seat choice, look at October and November weeknight games against Western Conference teams.
Sawgrass Expressway parking and arena security
The arena is at 1 Panther Parkway in Sunrise, in western Broward County, beside the Sawgrass Expressway. Most fans drive, and the arena lists 7,045 spaces on site, including garage, club and accessible parking. Getting out of the lots after the game is the slowest part of the night, so leave time.
As of the arena's current security policy:
- Bags: discouraged, and no larger than 4 by 6 by 1.5 inches. No backpacks, except medical and diaper bags. Lockers are outside the main entrance.
- Water: one unopened plastic bottle is allowed.
- Re-entry: not permitted.
Check the Amerant Bank Arena security policies before you go. Reserved Seat orders ship free.
Plastic rats, six arena names and two straight Cups
The Panthers began play in 1993–94 at Miami Arena and moved to Sunrise when the current building opened on October 3, 1998. They are the NHL's southernmost team. The arena has used six names: National Car Rental Center, Office Depot Center, BankAtlantic Center, BB&T Center, FLA Live Arena and, since September 2023, Amerant Bank Arena. Older maps and directions may use any of them.
- 1995–96: forward Scott Mellanby killed a rat in the locker room and then scored twice. Fans started throwing plastic rats after goals, and the Panthers reached the Final that spring, losing to Colorado.
- 2003 and 2023: the arena hosts the NHL All-Star Game.
- 2023: a second Final, lost to Vegas.
- 2024: the first Stanley Cup, in seven games over Edmonton, clinched at home.
- 2025: a repeat, in six games over Edmonton, again clinched in Sunrise.
- January 2, 2026: the first Winter Classic in Florida, at loanDepot park in Miami. The Rangers won 5–1 before 36,153, in the Panthers' first outdoor game and first home game in Miami since 1998.
Three numbers are retired: Roberto Luongo's 1, founding owner Wayne Huizenga's 37 and founding president and general manager Bill Torrey's 93.
