Upcoming Wiz Khalifa dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Pavilion or lawn: the Wiz Khalifa decision
For most Wiz Khalifa dates, the choice is between a reserved seat in the covered pavilion and a spot on the lawn. Pick the center pavilion if you want a clear view, good sound and a roof over your head. Pick the lawn if you want the loosest, most social night at the lowest cost and are happy to watch the screens.
That choice exists because so many of his tours are summer package shows at amphitheaters (open-air venues with reserved seats under a roof and a sloped general-admission lawn behind them). He also plays arenas, where the decision becomes floor versus raised lower-level seats.
- Closest: the pit or front reserved sections.
- Best overall: center pavilion.
- Most relaxed: the lawn.
- Arena pick: lower-level sections on the sides, near the stage.
Every zone of an amphitheater or arena, ranked
Pit and front reserved sections
The pit is a standing area right at the stage, and at many amphitheaters it is general admission, so early arrival decides your spot. Front reserved rows put you close without the crush.
Center pavilion
The house sound is mixed for this area, the soundboard usually sits here, and the roof keeps you dry if a summer storm rolls through. This is the safest buy for most fans.
Side pavilion
Fine for a hip-hop set, which relies less on staging than a pop production, but the angle steepens toward the ends of each row.
Lawn
A lawn ticket buys space and atmosphere. You will be far from the stage and depend on the video screens. Many venues allow blankets, and chair rules vary, so check the venue's current lawn policy before you go.
Arena floor and lower level
A standing floor is for fans who want to be in the crowd. If the floor is set with flat reserved rows, sightlines get harder the farther back you go, and a raised side section in the lower level often sees more.
Pittsburgh rapper, two No. 1 singles
Wiz Khalifa was born Cameron Jibril Thomaz on September 8, 1987, in Minot, North Dakota. His family settled in Pittsburgh around 1996, and the city has been his identity ever since. He started out on the Pittsburgh label Rostrum Records in the mid-2000s, spent a short period at Warner Bros. Records in 2007, launched his own Taylor Gang label in 2008 and moved to Atlantic Records in 2010.
The breakthrough was "Black and Yellow" (2010), a tribute to his city's colors that topped the Billboard Hot 100 and picked up two Grammy nominations. Rolling Papers (2011) opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and Blacc Hollywood (2014) opened at No. 1. Then came "See You Again" with Charlie Puth in 2015: 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, a diamond certification and three more Grammy nominations.
Later albums include Rolling Papers 2 (2018), Multiverse (2022) and Khaotic (2026). Running alongside them is a deep mixtape catalog that reaches back to Kush and Orange Juice, released April 14, 2010.
The feel of the night
Expect a relaxed, sing-along hip-hop show rather than a tightly choreographed one. The set leans on songs everyone knows, with "Black and Yellow" and "See You Again" as anchors, and mixtape cuts for longtime fans. Cannabis culture is openly part of the brand, from tour names such as Waken Baken and Dazed and Blazed to the Smokers Edition run, and the lyrics are explicit. These are adult crowds at mostly outdoor venues.
Set length depends on the billing. As a co-headliner or second act he plays a shorter set than on his own headline tours, and the running order on a multi-act night may not match the times printed on your ticket. Confirm set times close to the date.
Package tours from Waken Baken to Lost Americana
His touring record is built on shared bills, which is why his dates often pull in fans of several artists at once.
- 2010 and 2011: the Waken Baken Tour and the Rolling Papers World Tour, during his rise.
- 2011, 2012 and 2014: the recurring Under the Influence of Music Tour.
- 2015: Boys of Zummer with Fall Out Boy, plus the 16 Day Trip Tour with ASAP Rocky.
- 2016 and 2023: the High Road Summer Tour and the High School Reunion Tour, both with Snoop Dogg, his partner on Mac and Devin Go to High School.
- 2018 and 2019: Dazed and Blazed with Rae Sremmurd, then the Decent Exposure Tour.
- 2025: Taylor Gang The World and Good Vibes Only, the latter with Sean Paul, DaBaby, Earl Sweatshirt and others.
- 2026: co-headliner on the second North American leg of Machine Gun Kelly's Lost Americana Tour, an amphitheater run that wrapped July 1, 2026, in Ridgefield, Washington. Machine Gun Kelly announced the tour on September 17, 2025.

Co-headline bills and Wiz Khalifa ticket demand
- The whole lineup sets the market. Pairing with Snoop Dogg or Machine Gun Kelly stacks two fan bases on one night, and front sections can sell faster than on a solo date.
- Summer Fridays and Saturdays lead. His package tours have often run in summer, and weekend shows in large markets draw the most resale interest.
- Pittsburgh dates run hot. Home-region shows carry extra local demand.
- Pavilion prices swing; lawn stays available. Seats near the stage move the most, while lawn inventory tends to last longer.
- Presales open first. Artist, promoter and venue presales usually come before the general on-sale.
Reserved Seat backs every order with a 100% guarantee. Artist news is posted on Wiz Khalifa's site.
