Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Where to sit in the old stadium's last season

If you are buying for a Titans game at Nissan Stadium, the most comfortable all-around seat is in one of the 200-level sideline clubs: a raised, centered view of the field and indoor space to warm up in December. For a closer seat, choose a lower-level sideline section between the 30-yard lines and stay in the high teens or above. For the lowest cost with the full field in view, take the sideline upper deck rather than the upper end zones.

Sitting across the Cumberland River from downtown Nashville, this uncovered east-bank bowl holds 69,143. The Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee State Tigers have played here since 1999. Its calendar also includes the Music City Bowl in late December, CMA Fest's nightly stadium concerts in June and big touring shows, mostly from spring into fall.

Time matters with this building. The calendar shows January 3, 2027, as the final Titans home date in this building, after which a new enclosed stadium next door takes over.

The final season and the building next door

Construction of New Nissan Stadium on the adjacent site is underway as of fall 2026, and demolition of the current bowl is planned for after it opens. The published plans describe:

  • A roof: a translucent ETFE canopy (ETFE is a light, durable plastic film), so weather stops being part of the seat decision.
  • Fewer seats: about 60,000, roughly 9,000 below today, which the stadium says will sit 38 percent closer to the field.
  • A 2027 opening: ground was broken on February 29, 2024, and Wikipedia lists a summer 2027 target. Its budget is roughly 2.1 billion dollars, with 1.26 billion from public sources.
  • Marquee events: the stadium names Super Bowl LXIV among events planned for the new building.

For a buyer, that adds up to two waves of demand: the farewell games in the old stadium and the opening season next door, with fewer seats to go around. Sales of personal seat licenses (a one-time charge that buys you the right to hold season tickets) for the new building have already begun.

Lower bowl, club towers and upper deck

Two towers run along the sidelines and hold most of the building's 177 suites, which lifts the sideline seating higher than the end zones. The seats fall into three tiers:

  • 100s: the lower bowl around the field. The stadium's accessibility guide lists sections from 102 to 138.
  • 200s: the club tier, divided between two sideline clubs. One side's sections 202 through 222 belong to the East Stadium Club; across the field, 225 through 245 make up the Wesley Mortgage Stadium Club.
  • 300s: the upper deck, roughly sections 303 to 344. For 303 through 321, ride the express elevators at Gates 9 and 10; for 326 through 344, use Gates 7 and 8.

A video board stands in each end zone. From the sidelines you watch replays at an angle; from an end zone, one board is at your back.

Football picks, row by row

Height decides more here than section. The first rows of the lower sideline sit at field level behind the benches, and once the players stand, the far half of the field disappears. From the high teens upward, you look over the sideline and still feel near the action.

  • Clubs (200s): the cleanest overall angle, plus indoor space, which matters at a cold, wet late-season game.
  • Sideline upper deck: the budget seat that still shows the entire field.
  • Upper end zones: farther from play than you might expect, because the towers push the sideline seating up and out of reach.
  • Low end-zone rows: little view of what happens at the opposite end.

With no roof, the weather is part of your ticket. Noon kickoffs in September run hot, and December games can be raw. Check the chart's orientation for your game and pick the side that keeps the afternoon sun behind you, or climb to a high row under the upper-deck overhang for shade and some rain cover. Families with young children should avoid sun-facing seats for early-season day games.

Concert and CMA Fest seating

Stadium shows here usually build an end stage at one end zone. The sideline sections closest to that end, in the lower bowl and the club tier, give the best view and sound. The far end of the field is the weak spot: the stage is distant, and a standing floor crowd fills the sightline.

  • Good: lower and club sideline sections angled toward the stage.
  • Skip: upper end-zone seats at the end opposite the stage.
  • Check the notes: upper corners near the stage can sit almost level with the stage line, which hides the production.

Concert crowds can exceed the football figure. Ed Sheeran drew the biggest crowd ever here, 73,874, in July 2023.

Across the river: walking, shuttles and boats

Stadium-campus lots for Titans games are fully sold as of the 2026 season, and there are no gameday sales at all. Advance purchase through the stadium's parking operator is the only route on site, and concert spaces are scarce and likewise sold only ahead of time. Plenty of fans skip it entirely, parking in a downtown garage and walking over.

  • On foot: the stadium's pick for the fastest stroll from downtown is the Woodland Street Bridge, with Lower Broadway close at hand on the other side.
  • Gray Line shuttle: runs from 90 minutes before kickoff until about an hour after the game, for games and concerts.
  • WeGo Public Transit: free local buses on event days, plus express and park-and-ride routes from farther out.
  • By river: several Cumberland River boat operators run to the stadium on Titans gamedays.
  • Rideshare: zones on Crutcher Street to the south and Gay Street to the north.

Service changes season to season; the stadium's transportation page has the current plan.

Bag rules for every event

As of the 2026 season, the clear-bag policy (bags must be transparent) applies to every event in the building, football or not.

  • Clear and small enough: nothing over 12 by 12 by 6 inches; see-through drawstring packs, see-through diaper bags and gallon freezer bags all qualify.
  • Not clear: only a clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
  • No tricks: folding a non-approved bag inside a clear one does not get it through.

If something gets refused, rent a locker outside Gate 3 or Gate 9, though the stadium would rather you bring nothing. The A-Z guide lists the venue as cashless. Review the clear-bag policy before your date, since rules could shift with the move to the new stadium. Every Reserved Seat order is backed by a 100% guarantee.

Names, a flood and big nights

The stadium opened in August 1999 as Adelphia Coliseum, was known simply as The Coliseum from 2002, became LP Field in 2006 and took the Nissan name in 2015. When the Cumberland overflowed in May 2010, the floodwater reached the stadium and damaged it. Non-football headliners have included the NFL Draft (2019), an outdoor NHL Stadium Series game and WWE's SummerSlam (both 2022), and Nashville SC played its first two MLS seasons here in 2020 and 2021. Most people grab dinner on the downtown side first; inside, the clubs add their own bars and indoor seating. For more on the city's venues, including Bridgestone Arena, see the Nashville guide.

Frequently asked questions

When is the last Titans game at the current Nissan Stadium?

The final Titans home game in the current building is scheduled for January 3, 2027. The stadium is to be demolished once the new one next door is complete.

Which tier gives the best view of a Titans game?

The 200-level sideline clubs offer a raised, centered angle and indoor space. In the lower bowl, rows in the high teens and above clear the sideline crowd.

How many seats does Nissan Stadium have?

Football capacity is 69,143; a July 2023 Ed Sheeran show packed in 73,874, the attendance record.

Can I buy parking on the day of a Titans game?

Not on site. As of 2026, campus lots are sold out in advance, so plan on a downtown garage and the bridge walk, a Gray Line shuttle or a WeGo bus.

Will the new stadium have a roof?

Yes. New Nissan Stadium is planned as an enclosed building with a translucent ETFE roof and about 60,000 seats, opening in 2027.

Does the clear-bag rule apply to concerts?

Yes. As of 2026, the same transparent-bag limits apply at every event, concerts included. Confirm details on the stadium site before your show.
