Upcoming Rascal Flatts dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Rascal Flatts seats depend on the room
Start by checking what kind of venue your listing is for. Since the trio reunited, its calendar has mixed arena shows with fair and country festival sets and the occasional casino showroom, and each one rewards a different ticket. Indoors, aim for the first level along the side of the arena, just a section or two off the stage. At an outdoor festival the crowd up front normally stands unassigned, so how early you show up or a pit upgrade decides how close you get. In a showroom, almost every seat is close, and center sections are the safe pick.
Whatever the room, the night is a hits show built for singing along, so a seat with a clear view of the stage matters more than raw distance.
Arena seats, reserved floor and upper level
- Lower-level sideline near the stage: you look down over the floor and can read expressions on stage with no help from the video wall.
- Lower level facing the stage: farther back, but square to the video and lighting, which carry a lot of this production.
- Reserved floor: country arena floors are often set with rows of chairs. Because the floor is flat, row 25 on the floor often sees worse than a lower-bowl seat just as far away but a few feet higher.
- Upper level: the value tier. Front rows near center beat high corners.
- Sections tight beside the stage: pass on these unless the seller spells out what you will see; sound and light gear tends to sit right in the way.
Fair grounds, festival fields and casino showrooms
Many recent dates are festival or fair sets. At those, the ground nearest the stage is normally general admission (standing room with no assigned spot), while grandstand seats and pit passes are separate purchases. Look carefully at what a listing includes: it may cover a single day, the whole festival or only an upgrade. The fair or festival writes its own policies on bags, lawn chairs and leaving and coming back, and those differ from an arena's, so check the event's current policy before you go.
Showroom dates work differently. One example on the band's calendar is a December 5, 2026, date at Caesars Palace's Colosseum in Las Vegas, a fully seated hall where the stage is close from nearly every chair.
Harmonies, "Life Is a Highway" and the radio hits
Plan on the singles. "These Days," "My Wish" and "Bless the Broken Road" anchor the night, along with "What Hurts the Most," which crossed over to No. 6 on the all-genre Hot 100. The finale is almost always "Life Is a Highway," the cover the trio cut for the 2006 Pixar film Cars, which topped one billion plays on Spotify in July 2026, so stay put before heading for parking or a rideshare.
The draw is Gary LeVox's high tenor over three-part harmony, with Joe Don Rooney's guitar solos on the rockier songs. Indoors, the group has long staged its shows with heavy video, pyro and lasers. Newer material came in 2025: a January single with the Jonas Brothers, "I Dare You," and a June album of re-recorded hits with guest singers, Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets.
Breakup, farewell tour and the 2024 reunion
The peak came in 2006, when the Me and My Gang Tour drew over a million people across 79 dates. Three years later, on July 16, 2009, the American Living Unstoppable Tour made the trio the first country group ever booked to headline Chicago's Wrigley Field. Headline tours continued nearly every year through Summer Playlist in 2019, and career ticket sales had passed 11 million by 2020.
Then came the farewell that was not. A 20th anniversary farewell run, also called Life Is a Highway, was unveiled in January 2020 and shelved that May as the pandemic shut down touring. The breakup followed in October 2021. On October 1, 2024, the trio announced a 25th anniversary reunion, and a new Life Is a Highway Tour of 21 dates opened in February 2025. As of October 2026, the group's own calendar shows scattered festival and special-event bookings rather than a long tour; see the event list on this page for what is currently on sale, and band news is at rascalflatts.com.
Why fewer dates mean faster sales
A generation raised on 2000s country radio assumed the scrapped 2020 farewell meant they had missed the trio for good, and the reunion tapped that pent-up interest.
- Scarcity. A 21-date tour and a scattering of festival sets offer far fewer chances than the seasons when the group played dozens of shows.
- Presales. Arena tours usually start with fan-club and venue presales, which is when many of the prime lower-bowl seats are claimed. Resale fills in afterward.
- Festival pricing. What a festival pass costs depends on everyone on the bill and which day it is, not only the headliner.
- Weekend and destination dates. Friday and Saturday shows and special events in travel cities draw out-of-town buyers.
Reserved Seat covers every order, resale seats included, with a 100% guarantee.
Six platinum albums and 16 No. 1s
The group came together in Nashville in 1999: LeVox singing lead, DeMarcus on bass and backing vocals, Rooney on lead guitar and backing vocals. Six consecutive studio albums, the self-titled 2000 debut to 2009's Unstoppable, were certified platinum or higher, and "These Days" in 2002 began a run of 16 country No. 1 singles.
Awards piled up in the same years. The CMA named the trio its top vocal group every year from 2003 through 2008, the ACM did the same from 2003 through 2009, and "Bless the Broken Road" earned a Grammy in 2005. Opry membership followed in 2011.
Frequently asked questions
Are Rascal Flatts back together?
Yes. The trio split in October 2021, revealed its 25th anniversary reunion in October 2024 and went back on the road in February 2025.
Is a Rascal Flatts festival show seated?
Usually not in front of the stage. Festival and fair sets typically sell that area as general admission, with reserved grandstand seats or pit upgrades sold separately.
Are arena floor seats good for Rascal Flatts?
They are close, but the floor is flat, so mid-floor rows can see less than raised lower-level seats at a similar distance.
What song does Rascal Flatts usually end with?
Most nights end with "Life Is a Highway," the 2006 cover from the movie Cars, which crossed one billion Spotify streams in mid-2026.
Who sings lead in Rascal Flatts?
Gary LeVox is the lead singer. Jay DeMarcus plays bass and Joe Don Rooney plays lead guitar, and both add harmonies.
