Your T-Mobile Arena seat in 30 seconds

For a Golden Knights game, the strongest seats are the lower bowl between the blue lines, in sections 5–6 and 15–16, about a dozen rows up. For better value, sit in the lower corners or behind the end facing sections 9 to 12, where the Knights attack in two of the three periods. On a budget, the upper level near center (roughly 204–206 and 222–224) shows the whole sheet of ice at a fraction of the lower-bowl demand.

For fights, a raised seat in the first rows of the lower bowl usually beats a seat deep on the flat floor. For end-stage concerts, the lower sides closest to the stage give the best mix of distance and angle.

How the two bowls are numbered

T-Mobile Arena is a two-tier building. Knowing the numbering helps you read a listing before you open the seat map.

  • Lower bowl: a single ring of sections numbered 1 to 20.
  • Upper bowl: sections in the 200s, running from about 201 to 227.
  • Premium spaces: suites, loge boxes, terrace tables, Hyde Lounge and the Center Ice Club fill the band between and around the two bowls.
  • Glass seats: ice-level rows at Golden Knights games that include club access with food and drink.

According to seat guides, the home bench faces section 5, the visitors face section 6, and the penalty boxes are on the opposite side at the seam of 15 and 16. Inside a row, seat 1 sits on your left as you face the ice, at the aisle next to the lower-numbered section. That matters if you want an aisle seat for quick trips to the concourse.

Hockey, fight night or concert: what to buy

Golden Knights hockey

  • Bench side, sections 5–6: you look across the ice at the penalty boxes and see line changes up close. Expect the highest demand.
  • Penalty-box side, sections 15–16: the same center-ice angle, with the benches across from you in full view.
  • Attack end, sections 9–12, rows above the glass: two periods of Knights offense in front of you and the loudest goal celebrations in the building.
  • Upper center, near 205 or 223: plays develop in front of you like a broadcast angle. A strong pick for fans who read the game.

Boxing and UFC

The ring or cage goes in the middle of the floor, so no side of the arena is a bad side. Front rows of the lower bowl sit above the floor crowd, so they often see more than floor rows ten or more deep, which sit flat behind standing fans and camera positions. If you buy floor, buy close.

End-stage concerts

Choose a lower side section near the stage. The upper sections facing the stage head-on are the longest throw in the house, and seats beside or behind the stage are sold only as limited-view or not at all.

Where T-Mobile Arena seats fall short

  • Rows near the glass behind each goal: near the play, yet you watch through thick glass and netting that can blur the far end. Choose them for noise, not sightlines.
  • Deep floor rows for fights: premium demand, but a view that depends on the people in front of you.
  • Upper ends at concerts: the farthest seats from an end stage, often with a sharp angle as well.

Demand shapes these choices too. As 2023 Stanley Cup champions, the Golden Knights routinely fill the building, so weekend dates, holiday stretches and Original Six opponents, which bring large traveling crowds, go first. Midweek games against less familiar opponents usually have the deepest resale inventory. For combat sports, the main event sets the level of demand across the whole arena.

Walking in from the Strip, and other routes

The arena sits behind two Strip resorts, and the usual approach is The Park, an open-air promenade that runs between them.

  • On foot: a two-minute stroll from Park MGM, a little longer from New York-New York.
  • Free trams: two free lines serve the area, one linking Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur and another linking Park MGM, Aria and Bellagio. Check hours, since the Mandalay Bay line closes earlier on weekdays.
  • Las Vegas Monorail: get off at MGM Grand and cut through that resort's casino on foot.
  • Garages: the New York-New York structure is nearest, with a pedestrian bridge into the suite level; Park MGM and Aria garages have also offered reserved event parking.
  • Rideshare: drop-off at the East Suite Entrance, with postgame pickup moved to the New York-New York and Park MGM resorts.

Bags, doors and entry

Plan around the bag rule before anything else. As of 2026, the arena bans backpacks and every bag larger than 9 by 5 by 2 inches, which includes fanny packs and crossbody bags in that size. The NHL asked for the rule, and it first applied to hockey nights in October 2021. You can check a bag if you arrive with one. Confirm the latest rules in the T-Mobile Arena A–Z guide before you go.

  • Re-entry: not permitted at any event.
  • Payment: cashless; bring a card or phone wallet.
  • Doors: usually 60 minutes before concerts, with times varying by event.
  • Cameras: leave pro cameras, removable lenses, action cameras, tripods and selfie sticks at home.

How The Fortress came to be

Construction by MGM Resorts and AEG began on May 1, 2014, and they opened the arena on April 6, 2016, with The Killers headlining. Populous designed it, and the build cost about 375 million dollars. The building helped Las Vegas land an NHL expansion team: the Golden Knights took the ice in 2017, played for the Stanley Cup as a first-year club and then lifted it in 2023 in front of a home crowd. Locals call the arena The Fortress. A PWHL women's team for Las Vegas is set to open its first season here in 2026–27, and the arena holds a multiyear UFC agreement alongside championship boxing, award shows and Latin music events.

Frequently asked questions

Sections 5–6 and 15–16 in the lower bowl give the best overall view. Behind the end facing sections 9–12, you get two periods of Knights offense at better value.
