Upcoming Vegas Golden Knights dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Golden Knights seats: the short list
The best seats for a Vegas Golden Knights game are on the lower-level sidelines at center ice, home to what TickPick calls the Center Ice Club (sections 5–6 and 15–16). Outside the club, the same sideline sections a few rows up give you the full rink. Hockey capacity is roughly 17,500.
- Watch Vegas attack twice: the end with sections 9 to 12.
- Value: upper-level sections at center ice.
- Least expensive: upper-level ends behind the goals.
- Skip at the ends: lower-level rows 3 to 10, where the glass and net interfere.
Whatever you buy, be seated before the opening faceoff. The pregame show runs right up to it.
Sections 1–20 downstairs, 201–224 upstairs
The arena dates to April 6, 2016, and stands just behind two resorts, Park MGM and New York-New York. Its section numbers follow a simple pattern:
- Lower level, sections 1 to 20: the ring around the ice.
- Premium boxes and tables: between the two levels.
- Upper level, sections 201 to 224: the top tier.
TickPick's sideline map: the Golden Knights bench is in front of section 5, the opponents use the bench at section 6, and across the rink the penalty box lies on the 15/16 line. Within each row, the aisle seat numbered 1 borders whichever adjacent section has the lower number, useful if you want an aisle for trips to the concourse.
With standing room or a different event setup, the building can hold up to about 20,000.
Center Ice Club, Opera Boxes and the 9–12 end
Center Ice Club
Club seats in 5–6 and 15–16 include a lounge, and no tickets in the arena are more sought after. Remember that 5 and 6 sit behind the benches, so the lowest rows there look through standing players; 15–16 face the benches from across the ice.
The attack-twice end
Home teams shoot at the same net in the first and third periods. TickPick puts the Vegas net for those periods at the end with sections 9 to 12. Downstairs ends and corners on that side put Vegas rushes right in front of you. Directly above those sections are the Opera Boxes, each holding six to eight guests, and behind them the Terrace Tables.
Glass
At row 1 the boards are an arm's length away, and the pregame show happens right in front of you. The far end is a narrow view from there, so treat it as a one-night experience.
Upper level
From the middle of the 200 level, all 200 feet of ice are visible, which makes line changes and power-play setups easy to read. High rows behind either goal are the weakest seats up there; shift toward center if you can.
Rows 3 to 10: the stretch to skip at the ends
According to TickPick, the glass and the net itself can obstruct views from lower-level rows 3 to 10 at the ends. Those rows look close on a map and often cost more than the rows behind them.
Moving up a few rows usually costs less and shows more. If you want an end seat for the Vegas attack, aim for the rows above 10 in sections 9 to 12, or go up to the 200 level, where the angle takes the glass out of the picture.
Pregame knights and destination crowds
Arrive early. Vegas stages a full pregame production in true Strip style, frequently built around a knight on skates, and it lasts until the opening draw. Chance, the team mascot, is in fact a Gila monster.
From 2026–27, NHL teams play 84 regular-season games, 42 at home, after a four-game September preseason; the 2026–27 season runs September 29, 2026, to April 10, 2027, and playoffs follow into June.
- Traveling fans: people like a reason to visit Vegas, so Original Six teams, Canadian clubs, the Kings and the Ducks arrive with large followings, and those dates thin out first.
- Weekends, holidays and convention weeks: hotel demand on the Strip pushes the whole trip up, tickets included.
- Playoff opponents: repeat postseason meetings with Dallas, San Jose and Winnipeg gave the young club its first rivalries.
- Playoffs: nothing in town is harder to get, and prices swing game by game.
For an easier buy and a realistic shot at the lower level, look at weeknights against clubs that do not travel well.
Walking in from the Strip
If you are staying mid-Strip, walking is usually quickest. Most fans from nearby hotels enter through The Park, an open-air plaza leading to the arena. Other options: the Monorail's MGM Grand stop, and RTC buses such as the Deuce, which runs the length of the Strip. Rideshare queues are long after the final horn, so walk away from the arena before booking a ride.
Rules on bags, phone tickets and resort parking shift from year to year. For 2025–26 and beyond, read the entry and bag policy on the T-Mobile Arena site before you go. Every Reserved Seat order ships free, a small help on a trip where hotels and flights already add up.
On the road, the Kings and Ducks are the easiest trips, a quick flight or a long drive across the desert; Seattle and the Canadian Pacific cities round out the division.
A Final in year one, a Cup in year six
The Golden Knights are the first major professional team based in Las Vegas, led by owner Bill Foley. Its rise is the fastest any NHL expansion team has managed.
- June 22, 2016: with no dissenting votes, the owners admit Las Vegas, about two months after the arena opens.
- June 21, 2017: the expansion draft builds the first roster.
- October 10, 2017: opening night at home, nine days after the October 1 mass shooting, begins with a tribute to the victims and first responders; Vegas then beats Arizona 5–2.
- March 31, 2018: the club retires No. 58, one for each person killed.
- June 2018: a first-season run to the Final ends with a five-game loss to Washington.
- 2020: the minor-league farm team relocates from San Antonio and becomes the Henderson Silver Knights.
- June 2023: Vegas beats Florida in five, clinching with a 9–3 home win in Game 5, for the Stanley Cup in the club's sixth season. Original expansion-draft player Jonathan Marchessault wins the Conn Smythe Trophy.
