Raised side seats near the stage show the pyro best · bring earplugs

At a Disturbed show the floor is for the mosh pit, the side seats are for the fire, and the soundboard area is for anyone who came to hear the mix.

Upcoming Disturbed dates

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Pick your Disturbed spot by what you want

The best Disturbed seat for most people is a raised lower-level seat on the side of the arena, close to the stage. From there you see the flame effects and the whole stage at once without the shoving on the floor. If you want the pit, buy floor general admission (standing room with no assigned spot) and get there early. If you want the best sound, aim for the middle of the floor or the lower sections facing the stage near the soundboard.

Disturbed headline shows typically use an end stage (the stage at one end of the room, the floor in front). Confirm the layout on the seat map attached to your date, since festival and amphitheater shows differ.

Floor, lower level, upper level: the trade-offs

  • Front of the floor: the most intense part of the building. Mosh pits open up during the heavy songs, the volume is at its peak and you will be on your feet and jostled the whole night.
  • Back of the floor: calmer, with room to move, and the mix is usually better near the soundboard. The floor is flat, though, so shorter fans may struggle to see.
  • Lower-level sides near the stage: the pick for pyro. The higher angle lets you take in the fire bursts and the band together.
  • Lower level facing the stage: a straight-on look at the stage and screens, generally in line with the best sound.
  • Upper level: the value tier. Front rows near center keep the effects in view; the last rows on the far sides are a long way from the action.
  • Amphitheater lawn: outdoors, the grass behind the reserved seats is usually the lowest-cost way in, but it is distant.

Earplugs, fire and the size of the sound

Plan for volume. Pyrotechnics, a heavy low end and a crowd shouting every word of "Down with the Sickness" make this one of the loudest nights an arena hosts. Earplugs are worth carrying in any section.

The fire is real enough to matter. In March 2025 at the United Center in Chicago, the band's pyrotechnics caused minor damage to the championship banners hanging from the rafters. Upper-level fans should not worry about the heat, but anyone near the stage will feel it.

The show swings between hard-hitting riffs, built on David Draiman's clipped, rhythmic vocal style and Dan Donegan's guitar, and the slow, orchestral version of "The Sound of Silence," which turns the room into a singalong. A representative 2025 set list included that cover, though sets can change night to night.

The band, Brawl to number one albums

Disturbed is a heavy metal band from Chicago. It began in 1994 as Brawl, with Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren and bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak; Draiman answered an ad in a Chicago music paper in 1996 and the band took the Disturbed name. John Moyer replaced Kmak on bass in 2004. A grinning mascot known as The Guy has appeared on the artwork since the early demos.

The Sickness (2000) is certified five times platinum, with more than four million US copies sold. Believe (2002), Ten Thousand Fists (2005), Indestructible (2008) and Asylum (2010) each opened at number one on the Billboard 200. After a hiatus that began in October 2011, the band returned in 2015 with Immortalized. Its December 2015 cover of "The Sound of Silence" peaked at number 42 on the Hot 100, topped the Mainstream Rock chart and went nine times platinum; the band's performance of it on Conan became that show's most-watched video, and Paul Simon praised it. Evolution (2018) and Divisive (2022, with Ann Wilson of Heart on "Don't Tell Me") followed. Disturbed has sold more than 17 million records and earned two Grammy nominations, the second for "Bad Man" in 2024.

Ozzfest to the Sickness anniversary: tour history

  • Ozzfest: early appearances on the touring metal festival, including 2003, and a headline slot in 2006 with System of a Down.
  • Music as a Weapon: the band's own package tour, with editions in 2003 (with Chevelle), 2006 (with Stone Sour and Flyleaf) and 2011 (co-headlined with Korn).
  • 2010 and 2011: headline slots on the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar and Mayhem Festival tours.
  • 2016: the post-hiatus run produced Live at Red Rocks, recorded at the Colorado amphitheater.
  • 2019 and 2023 to 2024: the Evolution World Tour and the Take Back Your Life Tour.
  • 2025: The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour, 51 dates across North America and Europe from February 25 to October 28. Each show played The Sickness in full, then a hits set, with support from acts including Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Daughtry, Nothing More and Megadeth. Kmak joined the band onstage in Chicago on March 8 for the first time since 2003.

After that tour the band announced a break from live performance in 2026. Any confirmed dates appear in the live event list on this page.

How Disturbed on-sales play out

  • Sign-up presales: for the 2025 tour, fans registered for first-access presale tickets on the band's sites days before the general Ticketmaster sale.
  • Fan packages: that tour sold three package tiers, covering a meet-and-greet, early entry to the general admission floor and priority seating, so some of the nearest reserved seats were sold as part of packages.
  • Comebacks and anniversaries: the 2015 return and the 25th anniversary of The Sickness both pulled heavy demand. A pause in touring tends to concentrate interest when the band comes back.
  • Hometown and big-market weekends: Chicago dates and weekend shows in large rock markets usually sell out first.

Resale prices can land above or below face value and shift as the show nears. Every Reserved Seat order is backed by a 100% guarantee. Band news is posted at disturbed1.com.
