Dance-first pop show · raised seat facing the stage reads the routines

Tate McRae's concerts are built on full dance routines, so seeing the whole stage from above can matter more than standing near it.

Upcoming Tate McRae dates

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Tate McRae seating, settled

The best seat for a Tate McRae concert is a lower-bowl section facing the stage. Her show is built around choreography performed with a troupe of dancers, and looking down on the stage lets you see formations and footwork that disappear behind the crowd on a flat floor.

  • See the routines: lower bowl, straight across from the stage.
  • Be up close: the first rows of the floor.
  • Save money, keep the shape: upper level, center.
  • Skip: behind-stage and limited-view seats.

Why height beats distance at her concerts

At a singer-and-band show, closeness is most of the value. At a dance show, the trade-off flips. From high up you lose facial detail, but the patterns of the routines stay intact, and those patterns are the point.

Floor

The most energetic area in the arena, and the closest view if you are near the front. The floor is flat, though, so past the first rows you mostly see the backs of heads.

Lower bowl, sides

Close, but dancers working the near edge of the stage can block the far side. Side sections set back from the stage line give a fuller picture than those right beside it.

Upper level

A better buy here than for most solo singers. Center sections show the entire stage; high corners compress it into an angle.

Layouts can change by venue and tour, so confirm the stage position on the map for your date.

The Miss Possessive show, in brief

On the 2025 Miss Possessive Tour, the concert was organized in five acts, with dance breaks worked into extended outros. Set lists typically ran 14 to 15 songs or more, depending on the city. Zara Larsson and Alessi Rose opened in North America.

Starting in May 2025, VIP buyers could attend soundcheck performances where she covered songs by other artists. Those packages were sold separately from regular tickets, so a standard seat does not include that access.

From So You Think You Can Dance to RCA

Tate McRae was born in Calgary, Alberta, on July 1, 2003, and trained as a dancer first. In 2016 she placed third on season 13 of So You Think You Can Dance, a better finish than any Canadian before her on the show.

RCA Records signed her in August 2019. Her albums are I Used to Think I Could Fly (2022), Think Later (2023) and So Close to What (2025). "Greedy," released in 2023, was her breakthrough: it went to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, her first global chart-topper, and reached No. 3 on the Hot 100.

Three tours, three room sizes

  • Are We Flying Tour, 2022–2023: the run behind her debut album.
  • Think Later World Tour, April 17 to November 21, 2024: 65 dates in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania, mixing theaters, amphitheaters, arenas and festivals, with stops at Madison Square Garden and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
  • Miss Possessive Tour, March 18 to November 8, 2025: her first full arena tour, 83 shows in South America, North America and Europe. The US and Canadian arena run began August 4 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and ended November 8 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. She played Madison Square Garden twice and the Kia Forum three times, along with the United Center, Bridgestone Arena and Chase Center. Billboard put attendance near 795,000.

Her official site showed no new headline tour as of October 2026. Announced dates will appear in the event list on this page.

Timing a Tate McRae purchase

The jump from the Think Later tour to arenas brought multi-night stands in Vancouver, Toronto, Boston, New York, Inglewood, Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia. That shapes the market:

  • Presales claim the prime sections. Artist and partner presales usually come before the public sale, and lower-bowl seats facing the stage go early.
  • Not every night is equal. In multi-show cities, opening nights and weekends draw the most demand; weeknights are often easier.
  • Resale follows the sellout. Prices can run above face value right after a sellout and may soften near show day, especially midweek.
