Upcoming Bruce Springsteen dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Stand in the pit or sit in the bowl
For a Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band show, the closest experience is the GA pit (the standing area right at the stage), and the best seat is a lower-level section near the stage. Fans treat those first few yards as sacred, since the band plays straight to them, but standing there costs you hours on your feet and some luck. A raised lower-bowl seat gives you the whole stage, a place to sit during the quieter songs and no lottery.
His spring 2026 American run (20 shows, nearly all indoors) opened in Minneapolis on March 31 and wrapped in late May. As of October 1, 2026, no further shows were posted on his tour page.
How the pit lottery has worked
Past E Street tours have often sold the floor as GA (standing room with no assigned places) and filled the front pit by random draw. Reports from arena dates in 2008 and 2014 describe the routine:
- Hours before doors, each GA holder collected a numbered wristband outside the building.
- Staff then drew one number at random.
- Starting with that wristband, fans filed into the pit in sequence until it reached capacity.
- Remaining GA holders filled the floor behind it.
The process is not fixed and can differ by tour or building; confirm the details for your date before you plan your afternoon.
Floor, lower level, upper deck and behind the stage
- Back of the GA floor: near the band but at crowd height. If you are under average height, a seat in the 100 level will likely show you more.
- Lower level by the stage: the top seated choice, looking down on the front of the stage where much of the show happens.
- Stadium upper decks and far ends: a long way from a long show. You will lean on the screens, so pick sections looking at the stage head-on.
- Seats behind the stage: sometimes on sale. Consider them a low-cost compromise unless the listing explains what you can see.
Two guides go deeper on these choices: Floor Seats vs. Lower Bowl and Arena vs. Stadium.
Three hours with the E Street Band
Expect a marathon. At the start of the 2023 tour, a typical night held 26 to 28 songs, with staples like "Thunder Road" and "Born to Run" next to newer material and the occasional surprise. Fans noticed the set list changed less from show to show than it used to; guitarist Steven Van Zandt answered that the night was meant as an emotional experience, not a numbers game. In 2026, Tom Morello joined for part of the set at every stop.
Record tours, Reunion to Land of Hope and Dreams
- 1999 to 2000, the Reunion Tour: the band's return, with a record 15 sold-out nights at New Jersey's Continental Airlines Arena and 10 at Madison Square Garden.
- 2012 to 2013, Wrecking Ball: Billboard's Touring Awards named it 2012's Top Draw for drawing more fans than any other tour that year.
- 2023 to 2025, the world tour: 130 concerts, from Tampa's Amalie Arena (since renamed Benchmark International Arena) on February 1, 2023, to Milan's San Siro on July 3, 2025. It drew 4.9 million people and grossed nearly 730 million US dollars, the band's biggest tour. Arenas filled the early North American legs and stadiums took over later, including several MetLife Stadium nights. Treatment for peptic ulcer disease in fall 2023 accounted for most of the 29 postponements, which were pushed to 2024.
- 2025 to 2026, Land of Hope and Dreams: a European stadium leg opened in Manchester on May 14, 2025, and played to over 700,000 people; the 2026 American leg combined 19 arenas with an open-air night at the Washington Nationals' ballpark. His announcement stressed that all fans were welcome, whatever their beliefs.
He has ruled out a farewell tour and said he would prefer frequent, shorter runs, so new dates tend to arrive in compact bursts.
Dynamic pricing and the resale curve
Demand runs far ahead of supply, above all in his home region and the big Northeast markets, where multi-night stands are routine. The 2023 tour's on-sale in July 2022 made him the face of the dynamic pricing debate: Ticketmaster's demand-based pricing on the primary sale sent some floor seats well past normal face value, though the company maintained that the large majority went for standard set prices.
- The first sale is not always face value. Some primary seats can be priced up with demand.
- Resale peaks early. Asking prices climb highest right after a sale opens, and Jersey and Philly shows stay hottest.
- The back of the house eases. Upper decks and rear-stage seats often get cheaper in the final days.

Freehold, Born to Run and Broadway
Springsteen, "the Boss," was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, on September 23, 1949, and raised in Freehold. He has led the E Street Band since 1972. Born to Run (1975) made his name, and nine years later Born in the U.S.A. joined the best-selling records ever made. His totals include more than 140 million albums sold and 20 Grammys, and the Rock Hall inducted him in 1999. A one-man stage show, Springsteen on Broadway, played runs across 2017, 2018 and 2021 and won a Special Tony Award.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Springsteen pit worth the effort?
For fans who want to be at the stage, yes, but it means standing for hours and depending on a lottery draw. A lower-level seat near the stage is the reliable alternative.
Does Bruce Springsteen have any shows scheduled?
Not as of October 1, 2026, when his tour page showed nothing upcoming. The 20-show spring 2026 American run ended in late May.
Why were some Springsteen tickets so expensive in 2022?
Ticketmaster used dynamic pricing on the primary sale for the 2023 tour, raising some floor seats with demand. Ticketmaster said most seats still sold at fixed prices.
Who joined the E Street Band on the 2026 tour?
Tom Morello played selected songs with the band at every date of the spring 2026 American run.
Why were Springsteen shows postponed in 2023?
Most of the 29 postponed dates fell in fall 2023, when he was being treated for peptic ulcer disease; they were made up in 2024.
