Upcoming My Chemical Romance dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
The two-stage seat decision, answered first
For a My Chemical Romance stadium date on the Long Live The Black Parade tour, buy a lower-level seat that faces the main stage and also has a downward line to the B-stage (a smaller second stage set out in the crowd). That one choice covers both halves of the night. The first act is a theatrical staging of the 2006 album The Black Parade, played start to finish on the main stage; the second act moves the band to the B-stage for a looser set from the rest of the catalog.
The layout changes by building, so open the seating map on your event and find both stages before you commit. A seat that is perfect for Act I can leave you staring at the back of a lighting rig for Act II, and the reverse is just as true.
Floor, lower bowl or upper deck: the trade-offs
Lower level, centered on the main stage
The strongest pick for Act I. The opening half is closer to a stage play than a gig, with actors, an opera singer, propaganda graphics on the video screens and a running storyline. You want to read all of it, and a straight-on angle does that best.
Lower level near the B-stage
The payoff seat for Act II, when the band suddenly plays a few rows away. If a section looks down on the B-stage while still facing the main stage at a reasonable angle, it is the closest thing to a best-of-both ticket.
The floor
The loudest, most crowded part of the venue. A stadium floor is flat, so anyone past the first stretch of rows follows the main stage on the screens. The exception is floor space beside the B-stage, which can turn into a front-row spot once the second set starts.
Upper decks
Far from both stages, but not a bad night. Pyrotechnics, lighting and the screens carry to the top rows, and you see the full staging as a picture rather than in pieces. Center sections beat the corners.
How the Black Parade night unfolds
The band performs Act I in costume as its alter-ego group, the Black Parade, inside a story set in Draag, an invented authoritarian country run by a "Grand Immortal Dictator." Between songs the screens push propaganda, and a mock election asks fans to raise voting cards handed out at the door, so hold on to yours. "Famous Last Words" brings the pyrotechnics.
After an intermission comes Act II on the B-stage, with songs such as "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" and "Helena." A setlist from Globe Life Field in August 2025 shows the shape: 15 songs in the first act and 10 on the B-stage, which works out to roughly two and a half hours once you add the opener. Openers changed from date to date on this tour. The 2026 Latin American shows used a scaled-back version with the second set on the main stage, which is a reminder that the two-stage format is not guaranteed everywhere.
A New Jersey band that went from breakup to stadiums
My Chemical Romance formed in New Jersey in September 2001. The current lineup is Gerard Way on vocals, Ray Toro on lead guitar, Frank Iero on rhythm guitar and Mikey Way on bass. The band is often counted among the most influential rock acts of the 2000s and a cornerstone of emo and pop-punk, a label the members themselves have pushed back on.
- 2004: Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge went platinum.
- October 23, 2006: The Black Parade, a concept album, produced "Welcome to the Black Parade," a No. 1 single in the UK and a No. 9 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
- 2010: Danger Days followed.
- March 22, 2013: the band announced its breakup.
- October 31, 2019: it announced a reunion, and a Los Angeles show that December sold out almost at once.
My Chemical Romance on the road, 2007 to 2026
- The Black Parade World Tour: began February 22, 2007. The band played as the Black Parade until October 7, 2007, when it retired the character.
- Reunion Tour: pushed back twice by the pandemic, it finally ran from May 16, 2022, to March 26, 2023. The original North American run sold out in six hours.
- When We Were Young festival: on October 19 and 20, 2024, the band played The Black Parade in full for the first time since 2007.
- Long Live The Black Parade: opened July 11, 2025, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The 2025 leg included two nights each at Dodger Stadium, MetLife Stadium, Soldier Field and Fenway Park. The 2026 calendar added Latin America, three Wembley Stadium nights in July, a second US stadium leg from Citi Field on August 9 to the Alamodome on September 12, and festival slots.
As of October 2026, the remaining scheduled dates were five nights at the Hollywood Bowl (October 21, 23, 24, 30 and 31, with the final two billed as "Devil's Night") and an Asian leg in November. The Hollywood Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater far smaller than a stadium, so nearly every seat there sits closer to the band. Newer dates show up in the event list on this page, and the band's official site posts announcements.
Buying into a sellout: on-sales, presales and resale
Supply for this band has trailed demand for years. The first ten North American dates of Long Live The Black Parade went on sale November 15, 2024, and every one sold out within a few hours, about 365,000 tickets, which prompted a second Los Angeles night. Fans complained about high primary prices that many linked to dynamic pricing (face value that climbs automatically as demand rises), and bots bought seats to flip.
- Register for presales: fan-club presales have opened ahead of general on-sales on past tours, and that first window takes much of the best inventory.
- Expect resale to set the price: once a date sells out, secondary-market prices follow demand and can stay firm into show day, above or below face value.
- Watch the special nights: Halloween weekend, Devil's Night and multi-night stands in the band's biggest cities draw more buyers than a lone weeknight.
Every Reserved Seat order carries guaranteed entry.
Frequently asked questions
Which seats see both stages at a My Chemical Romance show?
Lower-level sections that face the main stage and sit above or beside the B-stage. Check where the B-stage is placed on your event's seating map before buying.
Is the full Black Parade album played?
On the Long Live The Black Parade tour, yes. The band performs the whole album as a staged first act, then plays other songs on the B-stage after an intermission.
How long should I plan to be at the venue?
A 2025 stadium setlist ran 25 songs over two acts with an intermission, so allow about two and a half hours for the band plus time for the opening act.
What are the voting cards for?
They are part of the Act I storyline, a mock election in the fictional country of Draag. Cards are handed out before the show and fans raise them on cue.
Are floor tickets worth it for this tour?
Only if you want the crowd energy. The stadium floor is flat, so most floor fans watch the main stage on screens, though spots near the B-stage get very close for Act II.
When did the band get back together?
My Chemical Romance announced its reunion on October 31, 2019, played Los Angeles that December, and toured from May 2022 to March 2023.
