Read this before buying any Panic date
Panic! at the Disco is not a touring band right now. In late January 2023 (the 24th), Brendon Urie said the name would be retired once the Viva Las Vengeance Tour wrapped so he could put his family first; that tour's last night came on March 10, 2023, in Manchester's AO Arena. Since then the band has resurfaced once on record: a two-night headline weekend, October 18 and 19, 2025, at When We Were Young on the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, sharing top billing with Blink-182 and presented as a single reunion.
So treat any listing as rare, and read it closely: is it a headline show or a festival pass, a standing floor or a reserved seat, one day or a weekend? Scheduled dates, if any, appear in the event list on this page. The sources for this page document nothing beyond the 2025 reunion.
Best spots at an arena headline show
Urie is a restless front man who covers the whole stage, and late-era Panic shows carried a horn section and strings. That shapes the choice.
- Lower sides near the stage: where you see Urie's every move from a raised spot over the floor.
- Lower bowl opposite the stage: a longer view, yet straight on to the stage picture and close to the soundboard (the mixing desk), which helps the brass and strings sit in the mix.
- General-admission floor: the loudest, most packed area, with a crowd that knows every word. Get in early for the front; toward the rear of the flat floor, the screens become your view.
- Upper level: the value seat. Lighting and video read well from above, though you will follow Urie on the screens.
Festival ground strategy
The 2025 reunion was a festival set, and any future appearance may be too. A festival general-admission pass covers the full lineup, and your position at the main stage is earned by arriving early, not by what you paid. Paying for GA+ or VIP generally buys a quicker entrance, a dedicated viewing pen and nicer facilities, not an assigned place. Bag limits and clear-bag rules shift between events and seasons, so look up the current policy for your date.
At the 2025 sets, the band marked two decades of its debut album by performing every track of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, with founding drummer Spencer Smith joining both nights for a closing "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." Much of the Viva Las Vengeance touring band returned.
Summerlin, Urie and eight records' worth of hits
Panic began as a group of Summerlin teenagers (the suburb sits on the west side of Las Vegas) in 2004; Urie, Smith and guitarist Ryan Ross were part of that first lineup. Lineups shrank over the years, and by 2015 Panic was effectively Urie's solo project backed by a touring band.
That 2005 debut entered the chart way down at No. 112, then kept selling until it reached four-times platinum, carried by "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," now certified diamond and MTV's 2006 Video of the Year. Pretty. Odd. (2008) swung toward a Beatles-style sound and debuted at No. 2. After the lineup thinned, Vices & Virtues arrived in 2011 and Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! in 2013.
The Urie-led era brought the biggest numbers. Death of a Bachelor (2016) gave Panic its first chart-topping album, moving 190,000 units in seven days, and a Best Rock Album Grammy nomination. Pray for the Wicked (2018) produced "High Hopes," which peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100, higher than any other Panic single. The final studio record, Viva Las Vengeance, came out on August 19, 2022. Live, the catalog also included a cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Theatrical tours, 2006 to 2023
Panic was never a stand-and-play band. Starting in November 2006, its Nothing Rhymes with Circus shows turned each song into a scene, with six costumed performers, dancing and comic bits. Later runs grew into arena productions with brass and strings.
- The farewell run, 2022 to 2023: Viva Las Vengeance opened at Austin's Moody Center on September 8, 2022, and ended in Manchester six months later, with strings (violin, viola, cello) and brass (trumpet, trombone, saxophone) on stage.
- The biggest run, 2018 to 2019: Pray for the Wicked started in Minneapolis in July 2018, finished at Rock in Rio that October a year later, and passed one million tickets. A Reading and Leeds headline weekend came in August 2018.
- 2017: the Death of a Bachelor headline tour, supported by Saint Motel and MisterWives.
- Summer 2016: a shared top billing with Weezer from June through August.
- Spring and summer 2008: the Honda Civic Tour across North America, mid-April to mid-July.
Scarcity pricing for a retired band
When a band stops touring, each show trades like a reunion event.
- Few dates, traveling fans: the nearest floor and 100-level seats may resell above face value from the moment they appear.
- Bundled demand at festivals: the 2025 return came inside a festival ticket, priced for a full lineup rather than one act.
- Presales take the best stock: presale windows for fan clubs, the artist's list and card holders usually open before tickets go public.
- Fine print counts: confirm GA floor versus reserved seat and single day versus weekend.
Every Reserved Seat order comes with guaranteed entry. Any official news would be posted at panic.fm.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still see Panic! at the Disco on tour?
Not on a regular tour. Urie retired the band after the final Viva Las Vengeance date in March 2023, and its only documented comeback was a festival weekend in Las Vegas in October 2025.
What happened at the 2025 reunion?
Over two nights at When We Were Young, the band played its 2005 debut start to finish, and original drummer Spencer Smith came out for the closing I Write Sins Not Tragedies.
Are more Panic shows planned?
Nothing beyond the 2025 reunion appears in the sources used here. Anything that does get scheduled will show up in the event list above.
Which seats suit a Panic arena show?
Lower sections along the sides near the stage give the best look at Urie, while seats facing the stage near the soundboard give the most balanced sound for the horns and strings.
What are Panic! at the Disco's best-known songs?
High Hopes, which reached No. 4 on the Hot 100 in 2018, and the diamond-certified I Write Sins Not Tragedies.
