Shakira Tickets

Lower-level sideline wins · stadiums · record Latin tour gross

Shakira spends part of each stadium show out on a long ramp, so a raised seat beside that runway can put you closer than a ticket near the stage.

Shakira seat call: get height near the runway

For a Shakira stadium concert, the seat to target is in the lower level along the sideline, roughly level with the runway that runs out from the stage. Shakira, the Colombian singer and dancer, built her latest tour around full-body choreography and a long hydraulic ramp into the floor. From a raised sideline seat you see her dancing and both ends of the runway at once. From the middle of a flat stadium floor you often see neither.

She tours rarely and in big buildings, so plan around a stadium, a long wait between tours and early competition for the best sections.

Stadium zones for a Shakira night, ranked

Her recent stadium shows used an end stage (stage at one end of the field) plus a ramp that pushes far out into the crowd. Each leg can differ, so open the map for your date.

  • Lower-level sideline: the best balance. Height to follow the choreography, with a clean view of the runway.
  • Floor beside the runway: the closest you can get when she comes forward. A few rows back, the flat field puts heads in your way, and you will lean on the screens.
  • Floor at the front of the main stage: great for the stage numbers, but the runway moments happen behind you. Best for fans who plan to dance all night.
  • Lower level facing the stage: farther away, square to the production, and looking straight down the runway. The soundboard on the field, straight out from the stage, marks where the mix is most even.
  • Upper level: the budget option. Stay low and central; the upper corners shrink the stage to a postage stamp.

Shakira seats that look better on the map

  • Side-view and limited-view sections at the stage: towers holding speakers and screens sit in the way of part of the stage.
  • The center of the field, far back: on a flat stadium floor, a mid-field ticket often sees less than the lower-level seat right beside it, especially if you are shorter than the people around you.
  • High corners of the upper deck: you will watch the screens, not the dancing.

Floor crowds stand and dance from start to finish. Seated sections rise for the fast songs and settle back down for the slow ones.

Hips, a hydraulic ramp and a bilingual crowd

Dance is the center of a Shakira concert. Her Super Bowl set featured champeta, an Afro-Colombian dance style, and her touring band moves from rock to cumbia to reggaeton to pop. The songs span decades in Spanish and English, so the crowd sings along to early rock ballads and recent Spanish-language singles alike.

The 2025 production was huge for a stadium show: tour accounts cite video screens roughly 160 feet across, song-specific props and the hydraulic ramp that lifts her out over the floor. The ramp is the single biggest factor in seat choice.

Shakira on tour, from Pies Descalzos to a Guinness record

Years in the studio separate her tours. These dates come from the tour records in this page's sources.

  • 1995 to 1997, Tour Pies Descalzos: her first international run, through Latin America.
  • November 2002 to May 2003, Tour of the Mongoose: the first big global outing, behind Laundry Service.
  • Mid-2006 through 2007, Oral Fixation Tour: arenas and stadiums behind both Fijación Oral albums.
  • September 2010 to 2011, Sale el Sol World Tour: arenas and stadiums worldwide.
  • 2018, El Dorado World Tour: 54 shows from June 3 to November 3, delayed from late 2017 after a hemorrhage on her vocal cords. Its Los Angeles show at the Forum was filmed and screened in theaters in November 2019.
  • 2025 onward, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour: launched February 11, 2025, in Rio de Janeiro, after an original plan for a late-2024 arena tour in North America was scrapped for bigger buildings. Guinness recognizes it as the highest-grossing Latin tour in history, with 3.3 million tickets and a 421.6 million US dollar gross reported as of January 2026. In Mexico City, seven sellouts at Estadio GNP Seguros set a record for a woman.

The 2025 run also had setbacks. Several shows in South America and the US were moved or scrapped, with stage issues and venue conditions cited.

Why Shakira dates sell hard, and when they soften

  • Scarcity drives everything. The 2025 tour came seven years after the last one, so many fans bought as if it might not happen again soon.
  • Presales take much of the first release. Before the public on-sale come artist, promoter and card-member presales. Latin American dates reportedly moved roughly 950,000 tickets inside two hours.
  • Added nights relieve pressure. Each extra show in a city, and Mexico City kept adding them, tends to take pressure off the opening night's resale prices.
  • Markets with big Latino populations go first. That is where her Spanish-and-English fan base runs deepest.
  • A moved date shakes loose seats. After a postponement, some buyers sell, and the rescheduled show's prices can rise or fall.

Most listings are resale, priced above or below face value, and they move as the date nears. Reserved Seat backs every order with a 100% guarantee, which matters on a tour with a history of moved dates. Announcements appear on Shakira's official site.

Barranquilla, the Super Bowl and the World Cup

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on February 2, 1977, in the Colombian city of Barranquilla. Pies Descalzos (1995) and ¿Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998) made her a star in Spanish; the English-language Laundry Service (2001) passed 13 million in sales. The paired 2005 albums Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 came next, then She Wolf (2009), Sale el Sol (2010) and El Dorado (2017). With Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (March 2024) she became the first woman to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Latin album charts in four separate decades.

Billboard put the audience for her Super Bowl LIV halftime show with Jennifer Lopez, on February 2, 2020, at 103 million. Her World Cup history stretches from South Africa in 2010 to the opening ceremony of the 2026 tournament in Mexico City.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the runway at a Shakira stadium show?

On her recent tour, a long hydraulic ramp ran from the main stage out into the floor. Floor spots and lower-level sideline seats near it get the closest views when she comes forward. Check your event map, since layouts change by leg.

Is it worth buying a floor ticket for Shakira?

It pays off if you will be dancing on your feet all night and can get near the front or the ramp. Farther back, the flat field limits your view, and a lower-level sideline seat usually sees more.

Why did some Shakira dates get postponed?

In 2025, a number of shows in South America and the US were moved or called off, citing stage problems and venue conditions.

How long was the gap between Shakira's last two tours?

Seven years. El Dorado wrapped in November 2018, and her next tour opened in Rio de Janeiro in February 2025.

How many awards has Shakira won?

Her trophy count includes 15 Latin Grammys and 4 Grammys.
