Best pick: front balcony in halls, center pavilion in sheds

Gavin Rossdale's band plays music halls, sheds and arenas, and the smart seat in each room is different. Start with the room, then pick the row.

Upcoming Bush dates

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Choosing a Bush seat by the size of the room

The best Bush ticket depends on the building. In a music hall, the first balcony rows give you a seated view of the full stage, or the standing floor if you want to be in the crowd. In an amphitheater, buy center pavilion seats in the front half. In an arena, a lower-level section angled at the stage beats the rear of a flat floor. Bush tours mostly in North America and moves between all three kinds of venues, sometimes in the same month.

That mix is what the spring 2026 run looked like. The 2026 spring tour opened April 7 at an events center in Pittsburgh, closed May 16 at a festival in Ohio, and in between booked Brooklyn Paramount, The Anthem in D.C., Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh and the MGM Music Hall at Fenway.

Halls, sheds and arenas: picking your section

Music halls and theaters

Many of these rooms sell a general admission (GA) floor, meaning standing room with no assigned spot, and reserved balcony seats above it. The GA floor fills first and puts you in the loudest part of the crowd. The first rows of the balcony are the calmer choice and show the whole band at once.

Amphitheaters

An amphitheater, or shed, is an open-air venue: a roofed block of reserved seats up front and a grass lawn at the back. The middle of the pavilion, roughly the front half, gets the clearest sound. The lawn costs less and works if you are happy watching the video screens; bring a blanket where the venue allows it.

Arenas and shared bills

On a flat arena floor, anyone behind the first dozen rows is looking past heads. A raised lower-level seat angled toward the stage is the better trade. On package tours, check the running order first, because a co-headliner's set can be shorter or start later than a solo date.

Festivals

Festival sets have no reserved seating for one band. Claim a spot early if you want to be close.

Hits, heavier new songs and the current lineup

Plan on a loud, guitar-heavy night that hits harder than the 1990s records. The radio songs everyone knows, ("Glycerine," "Machinehead," "Comedown") are the big singalongs. The newer material belongs to active rock, the hard-rock radio format, and Bush still scores there: the 2025 single "The Land of Milk and Honey" gave the band its eighth Active Rock chart-topper in the US. Treat the new songs as part of the draw.

The 2026 lineup: Gavin Rossdale on vocals and rhythm guitar, Chris Traynor on lead guitar, Corey Britz on bass, Nik Hughes on drums. Rossdale is the last founder standing. Two original members skipped the 2010 comeback (Nigel Pulsford and Dave Parsons), and the original drummer, Robin Goodridge, exited in 2019. Traynor has been in the lead guitar spot since the comeback, and his first tour with the band dates back to 2002.

A London band that broke in America

The band started in London in 1992, yet its audience has always been mostly American. Late in 1994, KROQ-FM in Los Angeles began playing "Everything Zen." The debut, Sixteen Stone, climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and went on to a 6x multi-platinum RIAA certification. UK success stayed modest, which is why most touring happens in North America.

  • Razorblade Suitcase (1996): the only Bush album to reach number one in the US, and "Swallowed" led Modern Rock Tracks for seven weeks.
  • The Science of Things (1999): electronic touches and "The Chemicals Between Us," a five-week Modern Rock number one.
  • Golden State (2001): the last album before the 2002 split.
  • After the reunion: six more studio albums, from The Sea of Memories in 2011 to I Beat Loneliness, released in July 2025, which Rossdale described as "very confessional."

Critics have called the sound grunge, post-grunge, alternative and hard rock. The band names Nirvana and the Pixies as influences.

Bush on the road since Woodstock '99

  • Woodstock '99: the festival appearance credited with pushing that year's album to platinum.
  • September 25, 2010: the first concert after eight years away, played at Fontana, California's Epicenter Music Festival.
  • Here and Now Tour: arena dates opening for Nickelback around The Sea of Memories.
  • Summer 2018: the Revolution 3 Tour, a three-way bill with The Cult and Stone Temple Pilots.
  • Summer 2019: US dates with Our Lady Peace and Live.
  • Late summer and fall 2022: a bill with Breaking Benjamin and Alice in Chains.
  • 2023: dates promoting the Loaded greatest-hits collection.
  • Spring 2026: the tour named for the new single, with Mammoth and James and the Cold Gun opening.

When Bush seats sell and when they sit

The Bush audience spans several generations and buys steadily rather than in a single rush.

  • Fan presales open the sale. In 2026, fans registered on the band's site for presale access ahead of the general sale on January 16, 2026, and a limited number of premium packages were sold on their own.
  • Shared bills lift the pavilion. Pairing Bush with another 1990s headliner brings two fan bases to one night, and reserved shed seats feel that first.
  • Big-city weekends go early. Weeknight lawns usually have the most left close to the date.
  • The GA floor tightens first in halls. If you want to stand, do not wait.

Reserved Seat backs every order with a 100% guarantee. Shed bag and chair rules differ from venue to venue, so confirm the venue's rules before show day.
