Upcoming Teddy Swims dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Teddy Swims seats: GA or reserved
For a Teddy Swims show, the choice that matters most is whether to stand on the general-admission floor (standing room with no assigned spot) or sit in a reserved seat. If you can arrive early and stand all night, the front half of the floor is the closest you will get to a voice this big. If not, a first-tier seat facing the stage gives you a direct view and even sound for the whole set.
- Most intimate: front half of the GA floor, earned by arriving early.
- Best balance: front rows of the first tier, facing the stage.
- Underrated: side sections near the stage, which lose little at a show with simple staging.
- Weakest: the back half of a GA floor if you are of average height.
His official VIP packages have listed both early-entry GA standing and early-entry premium seating, so both formats turn up at his venues. Your event listing shows which applies.
Standing room versus seats, in practice
Front of the floor
No GA ticket promises a position, so the people at the rail are the ones who lined up first. In return you get eye contact range and the full force of the band.
Back of the floor
Often a worse view than any reserved seat. The floor is flat, and once the crowd stands, the stage can vanish behind it.
First tier, facing the stage
Raised, centered and comfortable. For a singer whose range runs from gravelly soul to falsetto, the evenness of the sound here is the real reward.
Side sections
Because the show centers on a singer and band rather than on large set pieces, side seats near the stage keep most of their value.
Amphitheater lawns
At outdoor sheds, the lawn is the general-admission grass behind the reserved seats: relaxed and social, but distant. Blanket and chair rules vary, so check the venue's current policy before you go.
A singer-and-band night
This is not a heavily produced pop spectacle. The draw is the voice, and the covers that first built his audience often share the set with his own songs. Because the singing carries the evening, sound quality and a clear sightline to the stage matter more here than video screens or effects. Pick your seat accordingly.
From YouTube covers to a record-setting single
Teddy Swims is the stage name of Jaten Dimsdale, born September 25, 1992, in Conyers, Georgia. He started uploading cover songs to YouTube in June 2019, beginning with Michael Jackson's "Rock with You." His October 2019 take on Shania Twain's "You're Still the One" became his most-viewed upload, and Warner Records signed him that December.
His debut album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1), arrived September 15, 2023, and Part 2 followed January 24, 2025. "Lose Control" climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 2024 after debuting at No. 99, and later became the first song ever to log 100 weeks on that chart. He was a Best New Artist nominee at the 2025 Grammys and a Best Pop Vocal Album nominee in 2026.

When Teddy Swims tickets move
- Presales get first pick. Fan-club and venue presales usually open before the public on-sale, and the front GA spots and close sections often go there.
- Weekends and big cities lead. Friday and Saturday dates in the largest markets tend to draw the most interest.
- GA holds its value. After a sellout, resale is where most remaining fans buy, and GA floor tickets tend to keep their value because they are the most flexible route to the front.
