Upcoming Tiësto dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Tiësto tickets start with the room type
If you plan to dance, buy general admission and aim for the center of the room close to the mixing desk, where the mix is most balanced and the whole lighting rig is in view. If you want to sit, buy a lower-bowl seat facing the DJ booth head-on, because the screens and lasers are designed for a frontal view. At a nightclub, a table or raised area trades dancing room for elbow room and a sightline above the heads.
Tiësto plays Las Vegas clubs, festival main stages and arenas, sometimes within the same season. Confirm which kind of event you are buying before anything else, because each one is sold differently.
Dance floor, tables or a reserved seat
A DJ set (one continuous mix of tracks blended live from the booth) has a performer who stays in one spot. Judge every option by sound, light and crowd.
- Front rail: the most crowded place in the room, with bass you feel in your chest. Great for energy, poor for seeing the full light show.
- Mid-floor by the sound desk: the best overall position for most dancers.
- Club tables and raised sections: sold separately from general entry, with minimums and rules that vary by club.
- Lower bowl in an arena, straight on: the top reserved seat for a big production.
- Side sections near the stage: weaker for DJ sets than for band concerts, because from that angle you look at the rear of the decks and lose part of the screens.
- Upper level: good value, since lasers and lighting look strong from height.
Clubs, festivals and one-off spectacles
Las Vegas
The city has long been a base. Clark County declared a Tiësto Day and Las Vegas handed him a key to the city in January 2017. Orleans Arena has hosted his New Year's Eve concerts, and LIV Las Vegas named him on its 2026 lineup. Expect a standing floor, table sections and a start well after dark at club shows. Nightclubs in Las Vegas generally limit entry to those 21 or older, so read the listing first.
Festivals
In 2025 he topped bills at both EDC Las Vegas and Coachella. A festival pass covers the whole event rather than one set, and set times usually come out close to the date.
Landmark productions
His biggest standalone shows include the GelreDome concerts in Arnhem in 2003 and 2004 and a set of about three and a half hours beside the pyramids at Giza, Egypt, on December 19, 2025. Super Bowl LVIII had him lined up as in-game DJ for February 2024, but he pulled out because of a family emergency.
Trance roots, pop hits and what a set mixes
His catalog splits into two eras, and fans of each often travel for different shows.
- Trance era: on May 10, 2003, he drew about 25,000 people to a solo concert at the GelreDome, then filled the same venue for two nights in October 2004 with about 35,000. Then came Athens: a 90-minute set at the 2004 Olympic opening ceremony, which made him the first DJ ever to play live on an Olympic stage.
- Crossover era: A Town Called Paradise (2014) produced "Wasted" and "Red Lights," which became his first gold-certified singles in the US, and 2020's "The Business" turned into a major pop-radio hit. The studio catalog stretches from In My Memory in 2001 to Drive in 2023.
The trance side has not gone away. At EDC Las Vegas in 2025 he premiered a set titled after his old "In Search of Sunrise" mix series. On radio, Tiësto's Club Life ran from 2007 to December 2025, ending after 978 episodes, and Prismatic replaced it in January 2026.
When Tiësto dates sell through
The type of event drives demand more than the time of year.
- Big-weekend dates. December 31, festival weekends and nights pegged to a large event, such as an F1 race, draw the most buyers. In 2025 he played during the Miami Grand Prix.
- Small rooms. A club holds a fraction of an arena crowd, so a club booking on the Strip can disappear before an arena show the same week.
- Special sets. Nights advertised as trance or In Search of Sunrise sets attract veteran fans willing to fly in.
- Tiered festival passes. The first price tiers vanish quickly, leaving later tiers and the secondary market.
On resale, prices may run over or under face value, and they tend to change in the final weeks. Every Reserved Seat order carries a 100% guarantee. Announcements come from Tiësto's website.
Breda to the top of the DJ Mag poll
Behind the name Tiësto is Tijs Michiel Verwest, born in Breda, the Netherlands, in 1969 and active as a DJ since 1994. He topped the DJ Mag readers' poll as the world's No. 1 DJ for three straight years, 2002 through 2004, and a 2013 reader vote crowned him the best DJ of the past 20 years.
Industry honors followed. Elements of Life earned a Best Electronic/Dance Album Grammy nomination in 2008, and in 2015 he took home the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical Grammy for reworking "All of Me" by John Legend. His labels include Black Hole Recordings, founded in 1997, and Musical Freedom, started in 2009.
Frequently asked questions
Where should I stand at a Tiësto show?
Mid-floor near the sound desk gives the most balanced sound and a full view of the lights. The front rail is the most intense spot but the most crowded.
Is Tiësto playing Las Vegas in 2026?
LIV Las Vegas announced him for 2026. The event list on this page shows the dates currently on sale.
Are side seats good for a Tiësto arena show?
Not usually. From sharp side angles you see the back of the DJ booth and miss part of the screen content, so lower-bowl seats facing the stage are the better buy.
Does Tiësto still play trance?
Yes, at times. He premiered an In Search of Sunrise set, named after his trance-era mix series, at EDC Las Vegas in 2025, though most sets also include his house and pop crossover records.
What age do you need to be for a Tiësto club night?
Most Las Vegas nightclubs admit guests 21 and over only, but each venue sets its own rule. Check the event listing before you buy.
