New York Giants Tickets

MetLife Stadium · mezzanine sideline is the best all-around view

MetLife Stadium is huge and open to the sky, so the right Giants seat depends on your sideline, your tier and the month on the ticket.

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Your Giants Seat, Decided Fast

For most fans, the best New York Giants ticket is a mezzanine sideline seat at MetLife Stadium: high enough to read formations, close enough to feel the hits. Want to sit behind the Giants? Buy on the east sideline. Want the lowest price with a fair view? Buy upper-level sideline seats between the 30-yard lines rather than upper end zone corners. Want to be near the field? Buy lower-level rows 10 and up so the bench area does not block your view.

MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, holds about 82,500 and has no roof. The Giants share it with the New York Jets. Preseason is in August and the regular season runs from September into early January, so the weather, not just the section, should shape your pick.

Three Tiers and Two Sidelines

Section ranges below come from published seating guides; confirm on the seat map before you buy.

  • Lower level, sections 101–149. Some carry a letter suffix, such as 111C.
  • Mezzanine, sections 201–250. Includes the club sections.
  • Upper level, sections 301–350. The least expensive tier.

Home side (east)

The Giants bench sits around sections 112 to 114. Directly behind it, the Coaches Club seats in sections 111C to 115C are the most expensive tickets in the stadium. Mezzanine club seats on this side run from 207C to 220C.

Visitor side (west)

The opposing bench is centered on sections 137 to 140. Mezzanine club seats here run from 232C to 245C, with indoor club access.

Seats That Earn Their Price, and Seats That Don't

  • Earns it: mezzanine sideline. Arguably the best overall view in the building.
  • Earns it: lower level, row 10 and up. Close, with sightlines over the players and staff on the sideline.
  • Earns it: upper sideline between the 30s. A full view at the bottom of the price range.
  • Doesn't: the lowest rows behind a bench. They look ideal on a map, but bodies on the sideline hide much of the near field.
  • Doesn't: upper end zone corners. In a stadium this large, the far goal line feels very far away.

When the Eagles or Cowboys visit, expect a lot of road jerseys around you, especially in the upper level, where visiting fans tend to buy.

Sun Side, Shade Side, Wind Side

The stadium runs roughly north to south. During afternoon games, shade-mapping shows the east sideline, the Giants side (lower 108–118 and mezzanine 208–219), keeping the sun longest, while the west sideline and the south end zone go into shade first.

  • September, 1 p.m. kickoff: choose the west side to stay cooler.
  • Late November onward: choose the east side for warmth, and expect wind off the Meadowlands in the upper rows.
  • Late-season night games: layers, whatever your seat.

Games That Draw the Most Buyers

The Giants host eight or nine regular-season games a year. Since the Jets use the same stadium, the two schedules interlock, and Sunday afternoon is the usual Giants slot.

  • Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. Both bring the biggest traveling crowds, one from just down the turnpike and the other from a national fan base.
  • Washington Commanders. A rivalry dating to the early 1930s, like the one with Philadelphia.
  • Night games. The New York market turns prime-time kickoffs into big events.
  • National draws. Visitors such as the Packers, Steelers and 49ers lift demand.
  • December with playoff stakes. A tight race fills the stadium; a lost season empties the market.

Preseason games and early non-division games are generally the easiest tickets to land.

Rail, Bus and Lot Rules

MetLife is among the few NFL stadiums with a train to the door. On event days, NJ Transit runs service from Secaucus Junction to the Meadowlands Rail Station beside the stadium; from Penn Station New York or Hoboken, you transfer at Secaucus. From Manhattan's Port Authority Bus Terminal, Coach USA operates the 351 Meadowlands Express. Service details are on NJ Transit's Meadowlands page. Return lines for the train can be long, so either leave a little early or let the first wave clear.

According to the stadium FAQ published by the Jets, tailgating is limited to designated lot space in front of or behind a single vehicle, and lots close two hours after the game. Plan to buy parking ahead of time. Bags must follow the NFL clear-bag rule: a clear bag up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag or a small clutch around 4.5 by 6.5 inches. The stadium is smoke-free. These rules reflect the 2025 season; check current policies before you go. Reserved Seat orders include guaranteed entry.

A Century of Big Blue

Tim Mara founded the Giants on August 1, 1925, which makes them one of the league's oldest franchises. They won NFL titles in 1927, 1934, 1938 and 1956, then Super Bowls after the 1986, 1990, 2007 and 2011 seasons, for eight championships in all. The Mara and Tisch families share ownership.

Home has moved several times: the Polo Grounds in Manhattan from 1925 to 1955, Yankee Stadium from 1956 to 1973, short stints at the Yale Bowl and Shea Stadium, and Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands from 1976. MetLife Stadium, built on Giants Stadium's former parking lot, opened in 2010.

Three games define the lore. The 1934 title game became the Sneakers Game after a switch in footwear gave the Giants grip on a frozen field. The 1958 championship, a Giants loss later called the Greatest Game Ever Played, helped make pro football a national obsession. And Super Bowl XLII, after the 2007 season, ended the New England Patriots' unbeaten run, helped by the Manning-to-Tyree catch. Team news is at giants.com.
