Golden State Warriors Tickets

Lower sideline rows 8–15 · 200-level front rows are the value play

The upper deck at Chase Center rises sharply and hangs near the court, which changes the math on where to sit for a Warriors game in Mission Bay.

Upcoming Golden State Warriors dates

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

Warriors seating, start here

For a Golden State Warriors game, the best seat is a center-court section of the 100 level, about rows 8 to 15. You sit above the benches and courtside rows and still feel the speed of the game. The value pick is near the front of the 200 level on a sideline. Because that deck climbs sharply and sits close to the court, its lower rows take in every inch of the floor.

  • Best view: 100-level center court, rows 8–15.
  • Best value: 200-level sideline front rows.
  • Best for amenities: theater boxes and courtside lounges between the rings.
  • Worst seats: high up in the 200-level corners.

Capacity for basketball is 18,064, and Golden State hosts 41 home games between October and April.

Chase Center's rings and premium boxes

Opening night was September 6, 2019, and it closed a 48-year Oakland chapter. The privately funded building sits in Mission Bay on the San Francisco waterfront. Since 2025 it has also been home to a WNBA expansion club, the Golden State Valkyries.

Floor-level premium

Courtside and low premium sections line the floor and use a numbering system of their own.

The 100 level

Seating guides number the lower bowl from 101 to 124 around the court.

Between the rings

The band between the bowls holds suites, courtside lounges and theater boxes (compact premium boxes on the sidelines). The angle from here is low and straight on, and you pay for the hospitality as much as the view.

The 200 level

The upper bowl runs from 201 to 225 in seating guides. Section numbers come from orientation sources, so confirm on your listing's map.

Baselines, corners and the first row trap

  • Row 1 behind courtside: it looks premium on the map, but when players and coaches stand, they are right in your eyeline.
  • Lower baseline: great for watching shooters and drives coming your way, and demand is usually lower than the sideline. Judging plays at the far basket is hard.
  • Lower corners: a middle ground between the sideline and baseline, often with softer demand than center court.
  • Upstairs sideline vs. deep downstairs corner: if money is tight on your first trip, take the upstairs sideline.
  • High 200-level corners: as far from the court as the building gets. Choose almost anything else.

Warriors games that are hardest to get

Teams play 82 regular-season games, 41 at home, from October to April. Exhibitions open the year, and spring brings the play-in round and a postseason that can reach June. Demand at Chase Center has been strong since the championship run began.

  • Christmas and holiday weeks: Christmas basketball dates to 1947, and the season's festive stretch brings out families and tourists.
  • NBA Cup nights: November and December games in the in-season tournament count in the standings and raise the stakes early.
  • Los Angeles Lakers: the in-state rival.
  • Cleveland Cavaliers: Golden State's Finals opponent every June from 2015 through 2018.
  • Houston Rockets: beaten by the Warriors in all four of their playoff meetings from 2015 to 2019.
  • Weekends: more families and visitors.

The easiest tickets are usually weeknight games against Eastern Conference teams without a star attraction. Playoff home games are another tier of demand altogether, and prices move as each series develops.

Muni, ferry or Caltrain to Mission Bay

Leave the car. The T Third Street Muni line has a stop, UCSF/Chase Center, right outside, and as of the 2025–26 season your game ticket covers the Muni ride that day. Boats run to Pier 48 1/2, the Mission Bay ferry landing, when the Warriors are home. From Caltrain at 4th and King, budget a walk of 15 to 20 minutes. Rideshare cars queue on Terry A. Francois Boulevard and 16th Street, and fares spike when a full house empties out.

Arena rules as of the 2025–26 season:

  • Bags: a 14-inch by 14-inch by 6-inch maximum, and no backpacks other than one-pocket drawstring styles.
  • Doors: usually an hour and a half to two hours ahead of tipoff.
  • Re-entry: not allowed.

Check the Chase Center A to Z guide before you go. Reserved Seat backs every order with a 100% guarantee.

Tailgating is not part of the Chase Center experience. Thrive City, the plaza outside, has restaurants and room to gather, and eating there early keeps you out of the longest concourse lines.

Philadelphia, Oakland and seven banners

Few NBA clubs go back further. The Philadelphia Warriors helped launch the Basketball Association of America (the NBA's forerunner) in 1946 and claimed its very first title in 1947. A move west followed in 1962, and in 1971 the team relocated across the bay to Oakland and adopted "Golden State" to represent the whole of California. Today it competes in the West's Pacific Division.

  • 1956: a second Philadelphia title.
  • March 2, 1962: Wilt Chamberlain put up 100 points in one game as a Philadelphia Warrior.
  • 1975: Rick Barry, the Finals MVP, led Golden State past the Washington Bullets without losing a game, a result still cited as one of the league's great upsets.
  • 2007: the "We Believe" team, an eighth seed, eliminated top-seeded Dallas in round one.
  • 2015 to 2018: Cleveland in the Finals four years running, with Golden State winning three of those series (2015, 2017, 2018), plus a 73–9 record in 2015–16 that no team has topped.
  • 2022: a championship against Boston, the first won by the Warriors since moving into Chase Center.

Between Philadelphia and Mission Bay, the franchise called several buildings home, including the Cow Palace, San Francisco's Civic Auditorium, Oakland's arena (known in later years as Oracle Arena) and, for the 1996–97 season, San Jose. Seven numbers are retired. Rosters change, so check the Warriors' team site before buying around a specific player.

Frequently asked questions

Are 200-level seats at Chase Center too far away?

Not near the front. That deck climbs sharply and sits close to the court, so its lower sideline rows give a complete view of the floor.

Which 100-level rows are best for a Warriors game?

About rows 8 to 15 at center court. Row 1 behind courtside sits at the height of standing players, which can block your view.

What are theater boxes at Chase Center?

Compact premium boxes on the sidelines, located between the two seating bowls. They offer a direct angle on the court plus hospitality.

Is Muni free with a Warriors ticket?

As of the 2025–26 season, your game ticket covers Muni that day. Ride the T Third Street line to the UCSF/Chase Center stop.

Can I take a ferry to a Warriors game?

Yes. Boats run to Pier 48 1/2, the Mission Bay landing, when the Warriors are home.

When did the Warriors win their titles?

Seven times: 1947 and 1956 in Philadelphia, then 1975, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022 in the Bay Area.
