Upcoming Las Vegas Raiders dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Where to Sit, in Brief
For a Las Vegas Raiders game, the seat to target is a lower-bowl sideline seat between rows 15 and 30 at Allegiant Stadium. From there you see plays develop across the whole field, and you sit above the players and staff who line the bench area. If price leads your decision, the upper sideline sections in the 300s and 400s give a full view for less. If atmosphere leads, choose an end zone.
One factor you can ignore: weather. Allegiant Stadium, in Paradise, Nevada, about a mile west of the Las Vegas Strip, sits under a fixed translucent roof and stays climate controlled for every game. It seats about 65,000 for football. The regular season runs from September into early January, after a preseason in August.
The Four Seating Bands at Allegiant
- 100 level, the lower bowl. Some sections climb roughly 40 rows, so row number matters as much as section here.
- 200 level, suites and loge boxes. A loge box is a small premium pod with a handful of seats and a counter. The views are excellent and so is the privacy, at a price well above the bowl seats around it.
- 300 and 400 levels, the upper bowl. Higher, but the building is compact for its size, so the upper sideline still reads the game clearly.
- Field-level clubs. These sit behind the team benches and come with club amenities.
A caution on bench sides: published seating guides disagree about which sideline belongs to the Raiders and which to visitors. If that matters to you, confirm on the seat map when you buy instead of relying on a third-party chart.
Trade-Offs Section by Section
Lower sideline, rows 15 to 30
The best football view in the stadium. Close enough to feel the game and high enough to see all 22 players.
Front rows behind a bench
Loud and close, but much of the game happens behind a wall of helmets and staff. Choose these for the experience, not for the view.
Upper sideline
The value seat. You give up proximity and gain a tactical, top-down view of formations and routes.
End zones
Great for scoring plays and crowd energy, poor for judging action at midfield. The north end is home to the 85-foot Al Davis Memorial Torch, which makes those seats feel like the ceremonial end of the building.
Facing the Strip
Large windows on one side of the stadium look out toward the Strip. From the upper sections across from them, that view is part of the show at a night game.
Who Fills the Building, and When
A home slate normally holds one or two preseason games and eight or nine regular-season games. Because Las Vegas is a destination, the opponent shapes demand as much as the Raiders' own form: visiting fans plan whole weekends around the trip.
- Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. The oldest rivalries on the schedule, with large visiting contingents.
- Los Angeles Chargers. A short drive for Southern California fans of both teams, which keeps the stands full.
- Teams with national followings. Their traveling fans can lift prices beyond even division games.
- Night and holiday-weekend games. A Thursday, Sunday or Monday night kickoff fits neatly into a Vegas weekend.
- Preseason. The easiest and least expensive first visit.
Watch the hotel calendar too. Major conventions, fights and concerts can squeeze room supply on a game weekend, so reserve lodging early even if you hold off on tickets.
Walking In, Parking and Entry Rules
Walking is often the fastest way to the game. As of the 2026 season, the stadium's visitor guide lays out a pedestrian route across the Hacienda Avenue bridge, less than a mile from Las Vegas Boulevard, which takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes from the south end of the Strip. Traffic around Interstate 15 jams quickly after the final whistle, so walkers often get out first.
- Driving: buy stadium parking ahead of time through the stadium's parking partner rather than hoping for a space on arrival.
- Rideshare: use Lot N, 5285 Dean Martin Drive.
- Buses: in past seasons, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada has operated Game Day Express routes from several points around the valley.
Tailgating takes place in designated stadium lots, and sponsored tailgate areas have run in some seasons. Grill, tent and timing rules depend on the lot, so read the terms of your parking pass.
As of 2026, bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches; a small clutch around 4.5 by 6.5 inches is also allowed. Concessions are cashless. These rules and the transit options change from year to year, so check the Allegiant Stadium first-time guest guide before you go. Every Reserved Seat order is backed by a 100% guarantee, which matters when the game is the reason for the entire trip.
From Oakland to Los Angeles to Las Vegas
The franchise began in Oakland in 1960 as one of the original teams of the American Football League (the AFL, which merged with the NFL in 1970). It played in Los Angeles from 1982 through 1994, went back to Oakland for 1995 through 2019 and moved to Las Vegas in 2020. Its championships include the 1967 AFL title and three Super Bowls: XI over Minnesota after the 1976 season, XV over Philadelphia after the 1980 season and XVIII over Washington after the 1983 season, won during the Los Angeles years. The Raiders share the AFC West with the Broncos, Chiefs and Chargers, all of them AFL originals.
Al Davis defined the club for decades. His phrases "Just Win, Baby" and "Commitment to Excellence" still belong to its identity, as do the silver and black worn since 1963. Davis named the fan base Raider Nation in 1968, and in Oakland its loudest members gathered in the Black Hole, a costumed block of Coliseum sections.
Allegiant Stadium opened on July 31, 2020, though its first Raiders season was played without fans because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It hosted Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024, has been awarded Super Bowl LXIII for 2029 and is also home to the Las Vegas Bowl and UNLV football.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best seat for a Raiders game at Allegiant Stadium?
A lower-bowl sideline seat between rows 15 and 30 gives the most complete view while staying close to the field. Upper sideline seats are the value alternative.
Do I need to worry about sun or heat at a Raiders game?
No. Allegiant Stadium has a fixed translucent roof and is climate controlled, so there is no sun side or cold side to plan around.
Which sideline is the Raiders bench on?
Seating guides disagree, so check the bench side on the seat map when you buy if it matters to you.
How long is the walk from the Strip to Allegiant Stadium?
Roughly 10 to 15 minutes from the south end of the Strip, using the pedestrian route over the Hacienda Avenue bridge described in the stadium's visitor guide.
Can I buy parking at Allegiant Stadium on game day?
Plan not to. As of the 2026 season, on-site parking is sold in advance through the stadium's parking partner.
When did the Raiders move to Las Vegas?
In 2020, after playing in Oakland from 1960 to 1981 and 1995 to 2019, and in Los Angeles from 1982 to 1994.
