UCF Knights Football Tickets

45,906 seats · compact bowl · night games beat the Florida heat

A compact 45,906-seat stadium on campus in Orlando, so most seats are close. The real choices are row height, heat and how loud you want it.

Upcoming UCF Knights Football dates

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

The Bounce House seat call, up front

For a UCF game, the safest strong pick is a sideline seat inside the 30-yard lines, roughly 15 to 30 rows up. With 45,906 seats, the Acrisure Bounce House is compact, so that height gives you the whole field without feeling far away. The corners and end zones are the least expensive seats, and in a bowl this size their view holds up better than you might expect.

Two things matter more here than at most stadiums: the Central Florida heat at day games, and the noise around the students, who give the building its reputation.

Rows, corners and heat in a compact bowl

Skip the very front

Rows right behind the team benches look like premium seats on a map. In practice, the players and staff standing on the sideline cut off a big share of the field. Climb a dozen rows or more for a clean sightline.

Corners for value

Because the bowl is small, corner seats stay close to the action. They are often the smartest way to save money without giving up much.

Heat and storms

Orlando stays hot and humid well into autumn, and a September afternoon kickoff can be rough. If you buy for a daytime kickoff, scan the chart for sections with cover or more height, and pack sunscreen and something to drink. Early-fall afternoon thunderstorms are common, so look at the radar and the school's weather-delay notes before you leave. Night games avoid the worst of both.

Noise

The sections around the students are the loudest in the stadium. Every full-time student is eligible for a no-cost pass to each regular-season home game, and that crowd is the heart of the Bounce House atmosphere.

Visiting fans

Road fans sit wherever they find resale seats, which for big games usually means the end zones and upper rows.

Why the stands bounce, and what the stadium is called now

For its first 28 seasons, UCF played downtown at the Citrus Bowl stadium (today Camping World Stadium), about 15 miles from campus. Crowds of 20,000 to 30,000 rattled around in a 65,000-seat venue, so the university built its own stadium to put students and traditions on campus. It opened on September 15, 2007, with UCF nearly upsetting No. 6 Texas.

The stands shook visibly when fans jumped together, and the university added structural fixes after the first season to calm the movement. The nickname outlasted every sponsor: Bright House Networks Stadium, Spectrum Stadium, FBC Mortgage Stadium from 2022 and, after that company rebranded in July 2025, the Acrisure Bounce House. If an older listing uses one of those names, it is the same building.

A Roth Tower expansion started in December 2024 and was finished in time for the 2026 season, which set today's capacity. Through early September 2026, UCF's home record in the stadium stood at 91–32.

Big 12 visitors, the I-4 rivalry and the Space Game

  • South Florida: the War on I-4, named for the highway between Orlando and Tampa. The schools first played in 2005, met every year again starting in 2013 and have played for a trophy since 2016. With the two now in different conferences, the series depends on scheduling.
  • Cincinnati Bearcats Football: a rivalry that began in the American in 2015 and moved with both schools into the Big 12 in 2023.

Since UCF joined the Big 12, the strongest home demand usually comes from established programs whose fans like a trip to Florida, ranked league opponents such as TCU Horned Frogs Football, Texas Tech Red Raiders Football, Oklahoma State Cowboys Football or Houston Cougars Football in a good year, and the annual Space Game.

The Space Game

Every season since 2017, UCF has named one home game the Space Game, a nod to the school's NASA ties and the nearby Kennedy Space Center; during its planning stage the university was nicknamed "Space U." Uniforms that day carry mission patches, star patterns and the names of astronauts, and Canaveral Blue is now an official alternate color. The 2018 game brought back the Citronaut, the mascot from the Florida Technological University era, and fans saw a SpaceX launch from the stadium hours before the 2020 game. UCF went 8–1 in Space Games through 2025.

Priority points, free student passes and resale

Season tickets are sold on Ticketmaster. The best sideline locations are assigned through a priority points system tied to giving to Varsity Knights, the athletics donor program. Students get their free passes through the university.

Single-game seats from the school are usually easy to get for non-conference games. For the Space Game, ranked visitors and major Big 12 matchups, buying from season holders on the resale market is typically the surest way to a strong sideline location. Expect those games to climb in the last few days before kickoff; September dates frequently go the other way. Reserved Seat ships tickets free on every order.

Parking, the Knight Walk and no bag check

The hours before kickoff fill with tailgating across campus and the team's Knight Walk. According to UCF's 2026 gameday guide, you can park free in most campus lots on game days; the exception is the permit-only Gold Zone surrounding the Kenneth G. Dixon Athletics Village.

For 2026, only clear bags are permitted and there is nowhere at the stadium to check a bag, so anything that does not comply has to go back to the car. There is no re-entry at any UCF Athletics facility. Confirm the details in the UCF gameday guide before you go.

The drive from Orlando International Airport is roughly 20 miles. Hotels line Alafaya Trail and University Boulevard near the stadium, and plenty of visitors pair a game with a theme-park day.

Division III beginnings and a 13–0 season

UCF played its first game on September 22, 1979, in Division III, with unpaid volunteer coaches and walk-on players who paid their own way to stay in the dorms during tryouts. The jump to Division I-A, today's Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), came in 1996, and UCF thereby became the first school to play in all four NCAA football divisions. Stops in the Mid-American Conference, Conference USA and the American came before the Big 12 in 2023.

Two teams built the modern reputation. The 2013 squad went 12–1 and beat Baylor 52–42 in the Fiesta Bowl as a 16½-point underdog. The 2017 squad went 13–0, beat Auburn in the Peach Bowl after missing the College Football Playoff and claimed a national title; one selector the NCAA recognizes, the Colley Matrix, put UCF at No. 1. The NCAA record book lists the Knights as a final national polls leader for 2017, not a national champion.

Frequently asked questions

Are front-row seats good at UCF games?

Not usually. Rows directly behind the team benches sit below the players and staff on the sideline, so a higher row gives a clearer view of the field.

Is the Acrisure Bounce House the same as FBC Mortgage Stadium?

Yes. FBC Mortgage bought the name in 2022, then rebranded as Acrisure in July 2025, and the stadium name changed with it. It was earlier called Bright House Networks Stadium and Spectrum Stadium.

What is the UCF Space Game?

Since 2017, UCF has picked one home game each season to honor its ties to NASA and the Kennedy Space Center, with special uniforms featuring mission patches and astronaut names. It is one of the highest-demand home dates.

Can you leave and come back during a UCF game?

No. As of the 2026 season, UCF does not allow re-entry at any athletics facility, and the stadium has no bag check.

How far is the UCF stadium from the Orlando airport?

Roughly 20 miles separate the airport and campus. Alafaya Trail and University Boulevard have the closest cluster of hotels.

Does UCF claim the 2017 national title?

Yes, on the strength of a perfect 13–0 record and a No. 1 Colley Matrix ranking. The NCAA record book is more cautious and calls UCF a final national polls leader for that year.
